NO memory card Help - Wing, P4350 Herald Upgrading

Ok so I have replaced my Omap850_sdhc.dll to stop the soft reboot loop and now I have no memory card. It is a Trans flash micro card 1 gig. I tried INstalling the newest Sdhc.cab and certs.cab along with Sdmemory.dll and sdbus.dll but not working? Anyone have a copy of omap850_sdhc.dll?

I have also tried Omap850_sdhc_0404.cab which puts me back in the loop mode

Deleting everything on the card worked to reboot with out loop but as soon as i Install my apps it is back to looping? Do i have to reload rom?

Are you installing AudioManager by any chance?

[Help] Can't detect apps (apps2sd)

Hi i'm using unlocked G1 with CynogenMod 3.4 ROM
I changed my SIM Card with another one, but after i turn it on all the apps that i installed in sd can't be detected. (in application manager only the apps from the rom is listed)
When i check the sd card & phone storage, the internal phone storage still shows 848MB available space.
How can i get all my installed apps back without reinstalling the apps?
Thank you
Note: before i changed also the sim card but it worked normally, this is the first time happened can't read all the installed apps on my sd.
I had the same thing happen to me. All I did was mount the sdcard in ubuntu, grab all the apps, and adb install them all back with a batch script. It only took a little bit, but hey, it works. If a2sd didnt take for you, you might want to rewipe, reflash, reformat, repartition after youve gathered all of your apks.
look in the cyanogen thread...
install 3.4.1 and if you have a theme, reinstall the theme. maybe you will have to redo apps2sd from the recovery console (Power on + Home Button) too.
thanks, i'll install the new version

Stuck in bootloops, not sure what to do

I recently tried to flash Fresh Toast 2.1 and after 15+minutes my phone was stuck in a bootloop. I rebooted to recovery and deleted all the data and cache. Now no matter what ROM i try to flash it just keeps booting over and over. Anyone have any ideas? I was using apps2sd and completely formatted the sdcard, would this have affected anything? Also tried nandroid back up, but says "No files found" when I try to do so. Also when i try to format the sd:ext i get an error mounting sd:ext
In recovery try and format your sdcard with only a fat32 partition. Then try and enable ?MS-USB? and copy a ROM to your sdcard.Wipe data and dalvik and then flash ROM.
If that doesn't work try replacing your sdcard with another one.
Or you can push your ROM.zip to the sdcad through adb without mounting the sdcard
A2SD will only work if your sdcard is partition with EXT and swap. So if you don't have it partitioned then apps will install on your phone.
I gave it a shot but no luck, i am using the clockworkmod recovery 1.8.1.4.
I had the same issue happen the other day after a wipe and reinstalled rom... I have the same clock work mod you have also... what I noticed was that my phone only did that when I had the sd card in but once I removed it (after several hours of flipping out over it!) it booted fully.. but every time in reinserted the card, it rebooted.. so what I did was used paragon partition manager to create 3 partitions on the sdcard (i have an 8gb card) and made 2 Linux ext2 partition of 258mb or something close to it and the remaining was formatted at Fat32.. after I did this, I re-flashed my rom and everything has been working fine ever since... it may have been some corrupted files in the 2 Linux partition or something because I was running all my apps from the sd card and I had noticed the other day that every time I connected my hero to my laptop via usb, and launched pdanet, my phone rebooted...EVERYTIME.. and this is what led me down this road... If I made any mistakes here, I'm sure someone will correct me, as this is my first post...

Would you mind posting the steps to do that? Im pretty computer savvy but I need some steps to go from. Would I be better off picking up a new SD?
pulled the SD and it booted, thank god lol. Thanks for your help guys!
no problem... glad I could help.. as for the new sd card, you could very well just get another, but I managed to keep the one that I had but just reformatting it and re-flashing my rom (Damage Control v2.08.1) and it's been working fine since then..

[Q] How to flash another hardspl/ Change android to WinMo

Hey guys, hope someone can help me
Actually I have Android on my PPC, I think that was Froyo version, but I would like to change flash an edited KAISimg.nbh. When copy it to my main folder of sd card pressing power + camera -> reset nothing happens, my android just normally boots up.
If any of suggestions about that will not work, another question is how to boot windows mobile instead android. Following guide I changed RUU_Signed.nbh with WP7 to KAISimg.nbh, I've put it on sd card, agian power + camera -> reset, and android just normally boots up.
Any ideas how I can solve that?
Thanks, emriv

Remove sd card?. Remember that android runs over WM through sd card.
I tried that, Android just normally loads up. Asks for SD card, but after few seconds it keeps booting up. I think It's just because I've installed it on NAND.
Cannot install on SD card because I get error like 'can't umount /data'

Flash your stock rom then, via sd card or usb . Remember to format FAT32 your sd card first, if you do it from there.

[Q] CM7 on SD/CWR issue - cannot enter into recovery mode

hi guys,
1st time poster here.
Managed to get a Nook Color and followed VG's guide to doing the CM7 on SD card install.
Works fine (went with CM7 build 113), established wifi connection, installed CWR 3.2 (the one built within RM) then used ROM manager to download GAPP. Went to install it via ROM Manager...reboots, looks like its going into recovery mode but this is what I get (see attached pic). It just shuts itself down and I can't do anything...
I've tried manually going into recovery mode, and I still get the same thing.
What gives? If someone could give me a pointer on how to fix this so I can install GAPP and Dalingrin's OC kernels that'd be much appreciated!
If you're using VG's method, you need to manually copy the gapps file into the /boot partition of the sdcard. Easiest way is to shutdown the NC, pull the card and stick it back into your computer and copy gapps do the partition that auto-mounts in Windows (assuming that's your pc's OS).
VG's recovery boot is telling you that it didn't find any files to install, so it shuts down. That's normal behavior.
Is it possible to do this on the nook?
I've got the files on the nook but I can't seem to access the boot partition.
I tried putting the SDcard into my PC but Windows doesn't recognise the partition and keeps wanting to format it...
OK, I tried booting into recovery mode WITHOUT the SD card in. Well it went into CWR...
Seems like CWR has flashed itself onto the internal storage of the NC. That's no good since I don't want to disturb the stock BN install!
I need to figure out how to move the gapp zip file into the root path or boot partition of the SD card as file manager will not let me do it....sigh...
Finally worked it out.
Not sure why I couldn't use the SD card in my laptop. Anyway I booted into CWR, inserted SD card into Nook, then mounted USB storage...from there I copied the zip files I needed onto the boot partition and voila! sweeet

SD Card problem after trying A2SDX

So I've been having problems with my internal memory, so I decided to try it out. The first problem came upon rebooting my phone. It said something like "android.process.acore stopped working". So I decided to just format the card again, but the place for swap was gone (about 200 mb-s), so I decided to format the whole thing to FAT 32. At first, the phone didn't boot. Then I wanted to reinstall TheWhisp's CM 10 mod which I've been using, but CWM recovery said that mounting the SD Card failed. I read somewhere that going back to a stock rom might help, but nope. I still installed CWM Touch 5.0.2.8, but it still can't mount my sd card. Can anyone please help me? The stock rom is stuck in a bootloop, so I can't use the phone.

Are u sure u removed the ext partition before u tried booting up your phone? Having an ext partition without a2sd would cause bootloops. If you have removed the partition, then have you removed the init.d file from cm10?

Thanks for the answer but I've solved it since then. Simply had to reformat two or three times, now it works. The only problem is that when I remove the card and put it back ES file explorer does not see it, but that's nothing.
