Porting HP RW6515 rom to HTC alpine - Beetles

I have found a HP RW6515 that have the same specification as HTC Alpine;
http://www.amazon.co.uk/iPAQ-rw6815-Personal-Messenger-Bluetooth/dp/tech-data/B000LBDMQM
The processor is from the same family, specification are almost the same except this one is "PXA272 416 MHz" and Alpine has "PXA272 512 MHz". HTC Alpine has windows 2003 SE. Would it be somehow possible to port this rom to HTC Alpine
I have also found the link for the Rom;

This is 6815 not 6515

GPS newbie question

Hi all,
I was wondering, what options do I have, when it comes to GPS and my XDA. As I understand I need SD card, because maps take a lot of memory. So when do I stick the gps then ??
I found out that there are so called GPS mouses do they solve the trick? If so, which of them work on XDA? I couldn't found any
I appreciate any help
GPS
I bought Tom Tom Navigator 5 wired version. It comes with a SD card, a CD and the GPS device. I bought the extra connection cable at the PDA-shop in Rotterdam. I placed the SD card in the Wallaby, followed the instructions and it works fine. Unfortunately Tom Tom hasn't waterway maps.
Thanks a lot for the info. I have one question, what do you need the extra cable for?
I've checked tomtom.com, and it says it's only compatible with XDA 2 and up. Is that the reason I need the extra cable?
Thanks a lot, for the help.
Do the check again (see www.tomtom.nl) and you'll find:
TomTom NAVIGATOR 5 – Wired GPS - Compatibility:
Dell Axim X3 , Axim X30 , Axim X5
HP iPAQ H2210 , iPAQ H2215 , iPAQ H3970 , iPAQ H4150 , iPAQ H4350 , iPAQ H5455 , iPAQ H5550 , iPAQ H5555 , IPAQ HX2110 , IPAQ HX2410 , iPAQ HX4700 , iPAQ RX3715 , iPAQ RZ1710
O2 XDA , XDA II , XDA IIi , XDA IIS
Orange SPV M1000
Qtek 9090
T-Mobile MDA II , MDA III
Toshiba E-400
The extra cable is needed for the connection of the GPS device to the necessary 12V DC supply
XDA ------------>|
12 V Supply -->|
GPS ------------>|
It won't work without the extra connection for 12 V DC. (Information from the PDA Shop where I bougt the system. )
i believe that you have to use a wired GPS on the XDA 1, as the SD slot is not a true SDIO slot. Thus SD based GPS receivers will not work with the xda 1

Chris
Thanks a lot guys for all your help. I really appreciate it.

Driver issue with IR keyboard

I recently bought a second hand HTC Universal (either an 02 or Tmobile branded, case says one thing, fw says another) as I couldn't afford an HTC Ultimate (the ones with nvidia gpu).
Anyways, upon trying to use my Targus Universal Wireless Keyboard with the Universal, it didn't work, but it worked fine with my Sony PSP (through homebrew software).
I was using a driver downloaded from a driver storage site (can't remember which one). I read somewhere after a bit of research that the keyboard wouldn't work on pocket pc 2003SE (as opposed to plain 2003).
Is there anybody else with this keyboard? Have you found a driver that will run on windows mobile 6.1 pro (a lovely cooked ROM from here on xda-dev)? Is there any generic IR keyboard driver avaliable which might be configured to use this keyboard?

[REQ]Zeno USB Host Drivers to work for 6.5

http://www.freewarepocketpc.net/ppc-download-zeno-usb-host-drivers.html
this is a link to the Zeno USB Host Drivers
these look very useful the ability to use many kinds of USB devices with the raphael, the only problem is it is descrobed to work with only up to WM 6.1
is there anyone here who can get these working on 6.5? it would be much appreciated
It would be very nice, but it looks like Diamond, Raphael and Blackstone lack the required hardware. AFAIK, nobody has managed to get it working on those devices with 6.1 or 6.5.

I thought it was driver issues.
it works on htc diamond?
I haven't decided yet but I'm looking into upgrading my trusty tytn in a bit. I am looking into getting the Samsung Omnia Pro B7610. This USB hosting business has really caught my attention. I'm just wondering if the B7610 supports USB hosting hardware wise.
Cheers!
HD2 / LEO not supported
I managed to build an custom USB Host cable with power injector
and installed Zenos USB Host Drivers v0.6 on my TMOBILE HD2 / LEO
but found no luck to get it working

HTC 710 ROM´s on the HTC 730?

Can i put the 710 Rom´s (Windows Mobile 6,5......) on the 730 ???
Cu
i'm more curios if the wireless and bluetooth drivers are the same on te HTC s730 and s710 since then i could extract the wireless and bluetooth drivers from the s710 wm6.5 rom and cook them into the w6.5 rom with the faulty wireless and bluetooth drivers for the s730.
