That is cool, kudos for finding it. It's pretty much the blackberry qwerty phone pad, but virtual.

Now that I have seen the youtube video on this, I like this more than pocketcm. Really excellent product. You must see the youtube video to realise what an innovative product this is. Pocketcm R.I.P

I was amazed after watching the you tube video. Also if you go to the download section it is free until 8th dec 2007!! I've just downloaded going to try it out now.

I grabbed a copy to give it a try, ran the CAB, and when I select "TouchPal" for my input method, it just rolls right back to the standard keyboard. Anyone else have that particular issue? It looks great for one-handed operation, but...
Install went to the device, not the storage card, so please don't suggest that as a fix.

PerfAlbion I just installed to main memory and all is fine. I had to select it and straight away had a intro screen come up. All I can suggest is to uninstall and reinstall. It does work.

Try a soft reset. I had to do that before I could use the keyboard myself. Once I soft reset however ... off the the races!!

The install instructions tell you to install, then soft reset as mentioned. I did the power-off reset and it works fine.
Just when you think that these things can be improved any further, Thanks for sharing!

Nice prog. Can't use it, I have fat thumbs.

I should have mentioned I did that too, I suppose.
Actually, I did it twice just to make sure. Must be a conflict with some other app I've got loaded up...

Did you install it on the main memory? it wont work if you install it to your sd card

Yeppers. Installed to main memory. With the RAM/ROM on this puppy, I doubt I'll put much on my SD card but music or maps for the GPS.
Is anyone using it successfully with SPB PhoneSuite/MobileShell/PocketPlus? Those and AgendaOne are the primary apps I suspect would be conflicting.

this is keyboard is awesome, the only thing i wnat is the space bar to be in the middle (like the video) is everyones space bar to the left or is it in the middle...

You can just drag and drop it into the middle !

I have installed it to the device - soft reset - and it doesn't show up! I can see it in remove programs and if I search for 'touchpal' I find in Program Files/TouchPal/touchpal.dll as well as the help file and some dictionary files.
But I cannot find the executable to run it.
Any help?

Sounds like you figured it out but for others that may read this, in order to activate Touchflo you have to choose it from the keyboard input pop up that comes up when you tap the keyboard icon on the screen. Took me awhile to figure this out as well

Just install and start using it...
It's very easy to use...
I love it...
(Except for the typo's: Frends instead of Friends and Conn Manager instead of Comm Manager But that we can change!)

And there a some bugs. e.G. it often crashes when you are entering too much contacts for quickcall. But at least a nice piece of software.

There is a 15 day trial period and i have had it for 2 days. I like it. it is great for 1 touch voice dial or starting applications. Looks like i will buy it. it is only $15 bucks.
The only thing i want to know, is it can be executed by default instead of device comming up in the Today screen. I have the new ATT tilt (kaiser).

I tried it had fatal exception errors and I wish they were able to get touchflo incorporated to it. that would be nice instead of assigning a button to start it.

Hey i have it incorporated with touchflo just have to edit the touch flo's config txt to open the touch commander when u scroll down up it work perfect for me

Mine works...
Since I have Touch Commander installed on my card, I edited FTouchFloConfig.txt (txt file is in \Program Files\FTouchFlo on the device, not the card) to read:
DownUpApp:\Storage Card\Program Files\TouchCommander\TouchCommander.exe
DownUpAppCmdLine:
Then, soft reset device. Launch FTouchFlo. Manually launch Touch Commander to clear screen that asks for registration number, e.g. use it as a trial. Close Touch Commander.
Now, to make it work, I very lightly slide my finger on the Today Screen from the bottom to about a half inch from the top.
The sensitivity may have to be adjusted if it can be. Practice until you are used to it.
If I could get it to perform more consistently, I think this it is a great program. For now, I have remapped my PTT button to launch Touch Commander.

if you modify the pages one at a time and copy the files-appinf1.0.0, contactinf1.0.0, quickcalltree1.0.0, settings and thumbnalinf1.0.0 to another location and sofreset the device. then copy these files back to the folder and restart the program. modify a different page and repeat. this has the program working with all mods you have done i.e. contact pages, program links (with names and icon)etc..
worked for me.

Opera Mini 4 weird problem...

I've downloaded the browser via the website from within my Tilt and it downloads and launches fine... the program is great.
But when I close it, there's no indication of it anywhere in my phone. It's not in Programs, it's not even in 'Remove Programs.' I've browsed both the device and the Storage Card (where I had it installed) and it's nowhere to be found...
I've also went back to the website and attempted to reinstall it but the program recognizes the previous installation and then launches. But again, no luck with trying to run it later on.
I know a bunch of you have had luck, hoping someone has stumbled with this and found a fix.

Dude,
Opera Mini 4 is indeed a java application and you'll find it when you open up Midlet Manager (or whatever the java manager software is on the Tilt)in the Programs menu of your device. Start/Programs/Midlet Manager, then you should see the Opera Icon.

Thanks! After looking in Tools, I saw the eJava icon and sure enough, it's listed in there like you said once I ran it.
That's what I get for coming from a non-WM set of phones... lol.

Tell me about it, I cant seem to get along with non WM phones now. Have a K850i at the moment but thats gonna change soon.

Recently used progs list on START button

Hi folks!
Sorry if this has been covered elsewhere but my search results showed nothing so i had to ask as this is driving my mad.
When i hit START on my WM6 handset, as you will all have, i have a list of previously used programms.
Well with installing Slither's Cube (awesome by the way and more to come soon i'm told... see http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=336234), i've been back and for the testing icon links so my screen after hitting START is 'more' than full, it's at bursting point
So my question is this.
Is there any way you can reset it back to scratch / basic?
There MUST be... isn't there???

tweaks2k2 can clear up the recently used program. Dont know the exact registry key tho, sorry!

No worries mate. One more thing. This is another one that is winding me up something rotten.
Example... on a Nokia, you can choose the view you wish to have in your contacts list by going into options etc etc and selecting either... SIM ONLY, SIM AND PHONE MEMORY or just PHONE MEMORY.
Obviously the PHONE MEMORY on a WM5 or 6 would be OUTLOOK so... how do you display OUTLOOK ONLY???
Am i making sense here?! lol
If i can't get the answer to this in the next day or so then i'll have to New Thread it cus this one drives me mad to!

Delete everything in [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Shell\TaskSwitch] and soft reset asap.

For hiding SIM contacts, thus displaying only "Outlook" contacts:

please note that doing it that way wont stick after a reset, you would have to use the cab i uploaded within that link i sent you

I have to put you to the test now!!!
Ok, the XDA Orbit has a built in GPS as does the Kaiser yes.
No, what the Orbit DOES have that the Kaiser doesn't is... yes, you guessed it... an FM Radio.
So... would it be possible to get the FM Radio settings off the Orbit ROM and patch them into the Kaiser ROM?
Anything you can think of or trick you have up your very knowledgeable sleeve at all?

THAT I don't know. I am a Trinity and a Touch user and these tweaks remain after soft reset but maybe it's different with Kaiser.

Sadly not. On the 3 network, maybe that would be possible but not on my Orange plan!

* mobile office
* touchflo (i think thats what it is)
* GPS of some sort
and wanted something that kinda looked like this.

have searched around and tried to figure out what all the different things people talk bout in there ROMS are but its very difficult to understand since i'm just getting into this. just need something basic as i use it to open invoice doumenst in word and look through my inventory which is kept with pictures. any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Thats not very basic at all. Try any of the 6.1 roms, they should all do what you want.

The simplest is the stock rom. Add M2D (touch flo) and M2DC using link in my signature and then add stylez' theme and your go to go , with a basic rom and the theme that you want.

oh and an easy way to get ride of the message sent notification!! that thing is annoying!!!

To get rid of the Message Sent notification go to Start>Settings>Sounds7 Notifications>Notifications - From the Drop down window choose Message sent and then unclick the "Display message on screen"...Hit "OK" and you are good to go.

I have to add, that if you want something better without a sweat, you won't get it here. This is a DEVELOPER forum, so, expect to work at least on the reading, reading and reading front.

Luke!! i am your father!... now that is out of the way.... you should start by looking at the kaiser wiki. is your phone unlocked? sim unlocked? and like Denco said you should start with Stock rom (everything is at the kaiser wiki) and search around for the cabs for all the things that you listed.

i have the AT&T Tilt 8925 and i'm running the stock rom from the htc website = AT&T Tilt Update - Version 3.57.502.2
