Guys, i download the manilla touchflo 3d CAB file, i put it on my phone and installed it, but after installing i go to the Xpanel, and change the settings and i couldn't find the touchflo 3d panel under the list, other panel such as dashwire i could install and use with no problem, but this i cannot? help pls?
It's not a Panel it's a replace / mod for the today screen. If you choose the panels, click the one in the left upper corner.
But there is possible to install an extra program that makes a panel of it. Then you can remove it from the orginal today screen and have TouchFlo 3d as a separate panel.
1) Install TouchFlo 3D (Restart)
2) Go to Start/settings/Today/Objects and uncheck TouchFLO 3D
3) Install TF3DPanelInstaller.cab
4) Optional: Add the pictures in TF3D_Panel_pics.zip to the TF3DPanel folder in the panel folder under program.
5) Add TouchFlo 3D-panel somewhere as normal where you add panels in panelsettings.

Haven't found it until now, I add the credits to the topic and when I got my X1, I'll try to replace the panel images with english version and add them to the cab (but that will be in December )

well no and yes. No because it didn't slow down my phone and yes because you are probably referring to the same installation that I used.
So it did not slow down your phone after you install the panel? Btw did u install touchflo to your sd card or your device?

I installed it to my device after hard reset.
Thanks works GREAT! I even made custom pictures so I have a pic of my self in the panel instead of the pic of tf3d =)
And I thought Tf3d worked fast, but now it works even FASTER!!

Is it also possible the other way around? i want the media panel as an app...
This all installed ok, which I did last night, but when I work up this morning by phone was not responding and required a power off.
Also I found that switching to the the panel brought up a white screen saying please wait.
I have removed the panel installer and will try TF3D as a today plugin to see if its TF3D that is the problem or the panel software.
BTW installed all on device rather than storage card.

I don't know how to install programmes on my X1. I put the progr.( like TouchFlo3d.cab, Xperia tweak en windows live mess.) on the phone memory and when i tab them , they open in internet explorer, and that's it, they don't install.

use ultimate launch to place touchflo3d on first page and the other plugins on the next page. you can size one page to fit the whole screen so that you can switch between whole pages with your thumb or with a click, like you want

Can't get ultimate launch to work. When I activate the first screen, my todayscreen stays blanc.
The Ultimate launch is than removed from the todayscreen.

just had the same idea, ul didn't work at all
hopefully there will be a new ul version with diamond support
tf3d is so nice, i wish i could remove the internet tab and replace it with batterystatus instead!
Guys try this program http://www.chi-tai.info/download/SecondToday.zip and do this:
Copy SecondToday.exe to your desired location, e.g. \Program Files\SecondTody\SecondToday.exe and start the application
and then just copy the program again to windows start menu, and then add it to program list in the htc touch flo. then when ever you want it just click it.
Until now this is the best way to fix it

is it possible to run this second today - thing in autostart without interfering with touch3d?sometimes it does not open when i execute it...
i need to keep an eye on my calltimes and umts-data because both is limited due my contract and the only tool that handles both is (as far as i know) battery status...correct me if i'm wrong. gprs counter is bundled with my diamond but it isn't able to count call times...
edit: just tested it and second today always gets closed (or crashes) when touchflo3d is enabled...i can add plugins to 2nd today but when i switch back to touchflo3d second today not listed in taskmanager anymore after a couple of seconds.

I use a program called Ariel Battery and disabled the default battery icon. Put Ariel Battery in your startup folder, you can modify color schemes, it's small and even shows you the %.

Yes it's supposed to do that. But it's hard to get it to change. You should lay some FORCE behind it But yes, i also wan't to disable the auto changing in opera.

Youtube cant play videos (working on fix)
found a fix, but it made other changes that wasn't good.
so I decide not to post it, but the new rom has the youtube application working .
get opera bookmarks on touchflo3D and update em there automatic
go to windows folder, create new folder named "opera9" without coutes, then goto application data, opera9 there copy file opera6.adr and then paste it in the folder created in windows called opera9.
start opera type opera:config in adress
in the page that comes up click on "user prefs" (at bottom), then look for the name "opera directory" change it from /application data/opera9/..... to /windows/opera9/....
shut down opera, then next time you start opera and add a bookmark it will show up in touchflo3D..
Bug fixes:
Action screen gps fix (allocates quick gps now, instead of google maps)
Extra files:
Action screen assigned to hold powerbutton for 3 seconds (you can shut down windows or softreset anyway through the actionscreen, it's modified to do that), it will remove the gps button on actionscreen (quickGPS).
Smaberg X1 Powerbutton 12 icons actionscreen v 1.0 - Action screen assigned to hold powerbutton for 3 seconds. This is the full program with softreset and power off option, will install on newer windows mobile 6.1. this is the updated version that will show you a green iceon when pressed.

Album does not hang for me.
i only used .cab files for the thing i think some user's want to remove. all other is cooked in.
if i find more users with problems in the album app hanging, i will include the socialnetwork...

ON THE THREAD IT SAYS PANEL MANAGER DOES NOT WORK BUT I HAVE NOT TRIED AS IM NOT SURE IF IT IS EASY TO REMOVE ONCE INSTALLED. SO INSTALL AT YOUR OWN RISK AND PLEASE LEAVE FEEDBACK.
The city panel works fine to install but when u press on the objects only the website links work, i thing this may be because im using 6.1 and the panel is made for 6.5, so the links are different but not sure.
im using the r3 beta panel manager and active x deployment need to make the growing panel work.

i have opened both cabs up, cant see why the panel manager is not working. i look into changing the short cuts for the city panel but did not know where the shortcut links are (the only thing i could think of is its all in the swf file but i dont know how to open or edit flash files).

ok. there are different issues here:
1. you dont need the new panel manager to run most of the x2-flash-panels. all you need is the "Active X Deployment" and 2 additional files (FlashPanel.dll and SEMCFlashAPI.dll). i guess you know where to find the "Active X Deployment"-.cab . i did attach the missing 2 files in an extra .cab below.
2. the "PixelCityDayPanel.CAB" in the first post is sadly (and as always) only for english OS. if you dont have an english OS on your X1 then you have to edit the corresponding registry keys. i dont know why people cant use internationalized registry entries. is makes simply no sense to install files in the correct (international) folders but miss to do the same with the registry keys. so i took the freedom to recreate the .cab with the original "Panelizer"-Tool from SE. You can find the fixed .CAB also attached below.

Thanks for the files Will try again.
Had the files a few days ago but no luck with getting them to work because some files where missing. Hope it will now atleast the new panel since the panel manager is another problem. Think some necessairy packages are missing.

It works!
But you needs several things:
-R3A panel manager (the leaked one and not the official one)
-ActiveX deployment cab
-Files from post #10 of this thread and not from post #1
I installed the city panel WITHOUT the R3A panel manager (leaked) and the city panel works fine for me...the shortcuts don't work though.

Maybe it's work with the official R3A panel manager (I do not know, I always use the leaked one) but to make this panel works, you NEED the other files I talked about just before you

I was trying to get the Tracker panel on X1. The installation fails everytime. Any suggestions?

The only way to get rid of it once activated is to turn the device off and on again. Then, you will be back to the WinMo home screen.

WRONG, the X2 panels were intended for the X2...not X1. And for that reason you also need to install the X2 panel manager to be able to exit out of the Tilewaves panel correctly.
Also you need the slideview patch to access the email and contacts correctly.
Read the threads before making a post like the one you created which contains false positives on your attempts of informing the public.

Elo, use the time patch for it. In the Vulcan X2 software library in sony ericsson xperia x1 themes and applications. Tried Ethermind's 1 hour patch a few days ago but doesn't work for me. Thanks for the new patched DLL link and will try that one out tonight.
Facebook
Hi all, I've installed the X2 panel manager, works sweet. I've installed a working fish panel, Pixel City, Growing, Google etc etc... all working sweet as they should. However... and this is REALLY weird, I haven't EVER installed the "on the road" panel but my facebook one (tried X1 & X2 versions straight of SE's web) has got the On The Road graphic in panel manager. I've used TC to explore the panels folder and both portrait & landscape graphics are facebook....
Anyone else?

This has been discussed in other threads. Next please search the forums and read before posting questions.
On your device, go to Program Files/Panel Manger. Then delete all *.bmp.raw files. Reopen your panel manager and your panels will all have new updated pictures. You may have to reopen each panel for them to become updated.

go into the panelmanager folder and delete all the *.bmp.raw files then soft reset your device and new panel images will be made for you and the facebook graphic will be fixed

I've tried this quite a few times now. It works just fine after the first soft reset but after another soft reset, the Facebook Panel shows the image of the On The Road Panel again. What am I missing here?

When u uses the tilewave panel and then the X panel key stops working like that mean that ure using the panel manager from the X1. Just install the Panel manager from the X2 then it'll work. I had the the same problem before.

Anyone figure out how to get the TrackerPanel_X2 working?
I'm running Panel Manager 2.0.642.38.552 and Christians 4.001.
I get the error: The root certificate used for Tracker cannot be found - 56

isnt there a simple way of fixing the TileWave..i mean, last wht i read, the time fixes but then u lose ur country..isnt there a way to have them both working fine, also a question to the dev guys, why is this problem happening...mayb if v get to the crux, we can solve it from the root....

Very stable and fast.
Tracker panel works fine on it.
You can unpack *.cab with tracker panel and get *.jar from it. Then install and use as application
