hi, i am trying to upgrade my himalaya to wm6 but whenever i try to do this my ppc goes off when i run updateutillity. it is in boot loader mode and even in usb mode which is required but i dont know whats going on. please can u people help me out of this.thanks

yes i have done the same and as i run himalayaupdate no id it runs and screen appears that your device will upgrade from this version to etc. but it turns off while it is preparing to erase the rom. please looking further help. thanks

first of all, which Windows are you running ?
Try to connect your USB Cable Directly to the back of your PC (not the exteder)
Try to replace the Cable if you can to test
Make sure your battery is charged fully (charge with a Wall Charger that came with it!!! not the USB)

hello everyone,
i have a little problem and hope you can help me with this. Yesterday i flashed my wizard with the underground edition. everything worked fine in the process, i did the CID-Unlocking as well. After rebooting,the screen appeared and i was happy. Then i realized that the radio didnt work and my usb-interface (charching and sync) is disabled. So i can not flash my deviceagain, it even does not charge the battery. now the battery is empty and i have to find a method to fill the batt up, to get into my device. if so, can anybody help me with a hint how to reactivad my usb interface?

The USB Port of my device is also defective, and i am using an external charger to charge the battery.You can get an external charger and can put your battery in it to charge.
However i am unable to use Activesyn and flash my mobile.
Can i flash my phone with a bluetooth connection?
with any update Utility u going to find EnterBootLoader.exe with it
send EnterBootLoader to your mobile and run it
connect your usb and flash your new rom
Are you using Vista? I had the same problem after my first flash. You need to update the Driver. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=338473 Follow to update Vista drivers.
i just spend 2 days searching for a solution, i use the search option but without results..
I got a mda g3 device ipl spl both 3.08
i flashed it with a wcrx2 rom wm6 based, but during the flash it stucked somewhere and then it went to bootloader.
If i turn it on u get the bootloader screen..
I tried several roms even the original ones, but NO CONNECTION with USB !
i get the Connection error !
is there someone who know how to solve this?
id rather paypal u 25 euros for solving my problem then send it to customer service t-mobile !

you can still flash from bootloader mode
you can't connect via activesync but you should be able to connect still
make sure you don't have any virus protection firewall preventing the connection
then try flashing the button rom or something

First verify if your phone is establishing connectivity with pc through usb cable.Get into bootloaders and connect your phone with the pc via usb cable,verify if small usb appears at the bottom of the bootloader screen,if it appears then run the Ruu,if doesn't appear,then you have a either usb cable fault or mini usb port of the phone is damaged,it maybe that usb slot of the pc is not working,try with other usb input of the pc .

i tried several times to flash my rom and yeah i see the USB text in the corner of the screen, so im 100% sure the USB is working..
but im gonna try to flash it with the BUTTON ROM
are there other roms wich i can use for flashing my mda?
i mean wich roms are good for flashing my mda that stucked in bootloader..
cause the other ROMS didnt want to connect with my mda !

i got a XDA 2 I otherwise known as ,PH10A its not turning on so i cant install rom on phone.taken cmos battery out stil no joy,,please can anyone help me out i put it in the crradle and it does charge up.and on the screen it says USB V 1.02 and thats all and wont do nothing else ..pc wont reconise the phone..i badly need help anyone got any ideas ..
The bootloader message USB V 1.02 does mean that it is in healthy bootloader mode and that it does find a healthy USB connection as well. Activesync will not be able to communicate with it the way it would do if Windows Mobile would have been loaded on your XDA. But the normal ROM flash utilities should be able to access it. Be sure to use ActiveSync version 4.5 to flash WM6, be sure to use a PC running Windows XP, not Vista, be sure to read flashing instructions very carefully, print them and keep them handy during the flashing process. Flashing can take over 30 minutes, be patient!

Hi Maggie. Phone Is In The Cradle I Got Active Sync 4.5 And Running It On Xp.it Dosnt Detect The Phone At All.on The Phones Screeen Its Says Usb V1.02 As Iv Mentioned Befor.cant Seem To Flash The Phone ..but It Does Charge Up In The Cradle.but Nothing Else Can U Suggest Anything Else ....thanx

They come with the HimaUpgradeNoID utility to flash the ROM, it's built into the Tofclock .exe

Ive got a big problem with my Qtek 9090..I wanted to flash my OS to Wm6 but during the instalation the device lost connectivity..I dont know how and since than i cannot start it again...i cannot get to the bootloader mode
what should I do???
Did you try holding record-power +reset?
I had some of these issues before, disconnecting, battery down, ... but always managed to get in 'usb-mode' after which you can retry the flash update...
If it doesn't work, give us some more info what happens, what you tried and what did what... we'll (try to) help you out

I've had this problem. We've had to flash about 250+ devices and four of them were disconnected before 100% download.
we've not been able to do anything with these devices except just write them off and not use them.
If anyone knows how we will be able to get them working again it would be greatly appreciated.

and now My Kjam started Automatically on boot loader no HTC Or Imate Screen
and No Hard reset
Download and flash official k-jam stock rom to recover back to its default status than proceed further.

sometime ago i had the same issue my F#$kn PC restars and my phone goes directly to vbootloader and it was caused cause i have flash my device with the miniSD in it... but is not prooved some people said that it is not the trouble.... what ever
when you recover your XP just plug your device to the PC via usb in bootloaders mode... unplug your miniSD and if you want.... your SIM card (it doesnt matter at all) and reflash.
if it doesnt works try the method described in my Signature link... Trying MTTY to revives a wizard everywhere stucks!!
But... is recomended do first a reflash in bootloaders... then if not works contact me to guide you trough the steps on MTTY...

(OH! be sure that dont use too much your device in bootloaders cause the batt dont charge in this mode and we need more than 70% to reflash)

Is your batt
Your batt is dead...
I told you... dont use it cause in bootloaders dont charge....
So try to get an only batt wall charger... or find another wizard to recharge your batt... or get one with at least 70% of charge.
mmm I dont know a lot of G4 devices but maybe you need to reinstall an official Rom like zabardast said but i dont know if its needed to remove the hard SPL ask zabardast maybe he knows.
