i didn't use my xda2i for 1 yr (i think), before, it can detect my sim card and can call and send txt msgs, but now, my xda2i can't detect any simcard! i dunno what happened.. phone is always NO SERVICE and has NO SIGNAL. The logo beside the speakerlogo has exclamation point... i had the feeling that my fon is locked, so i tried to unlock it by xdadevallunlock but still it doesn't work. exclamation (!) only changed to (x), but still no service. i'm from philippines, i nid help guys! if u have suggestions kindly reply on this thread or txt me 09294666336.

it only chang to another rom , and it still only 2003se .Not upgrade to WM 2005 or WM6.x.
i guess there's no solution for this problem cause no body replied with a good solution. i'm having the same problem too.....i got no signal and problem with the align screen menu....can any one help me with this problem? come on guys, don't make me think that there's no one here is capable for fixing this kind of mess....
Assembling to scratch and then reassembling really solves most hardware problems.

I have never heard of model ver PH10D, whats your Radio/Rom/Extended ROM version? It will be interesting to find out what the differences are from PH10C.

do you also have a 2020i type PH10D (and not the PH10c??)
I have a PH10C, I ran the unlocker and it told me it had unlocked it (but it was already unlocked anyway)
I think you will be ok with the program if you can get it to ignore the model number, or add PH10D to the list. Contact the author of the unlocker program and ask him to add PH10D to do the same as PH10C (after all, you have same rom, radio etc as my PH10C)

maybe this night i will try to done asian rom based on pug camera fixed rom. maybe it will help you. about the battery problem, i dont have any problem on it, maybe you should check your wifi or bluetooth or keep running turbo mode processor. Keep it off if you dont use it. Thats also will eat battery. thanks

data files (pctures,music,etc) to other device(phone or smart phone) via bluetooth...before upgrading,,my device can send n revice data via bluetooth..(Wm 2003)

have u tried flashing an official indian rom to see if that makes a diffrence? maybe its some issue with using a wwe rom in india, some issue with frequencies or sumat

Okay sorry for the Delay Mancsoulja....itseems i have a newer version of Radio than the one you suggested.. well i am downloading the rom right now.....will update in an hour or so... ....its taking time cuz i have a crappy 30kbps transfer rate....so it takes roughly 45 mins to download a 100MB file..and Oh...do you happen to know how many posts one has to make to become a seniour member..

LOL....sorry for being such a noob jerk.....i was using the touch 3g headsets all the time....those dont have the radio antenna receiver....sorry....now i just have to find the headsets with FM enabled ones......it took me some time...to actually realise that the headsets were of touch 3g and it doesnt have radio so the headsets are also not FM enabled....

Where do you live in?I think maybe it's the battery problem.Try to take out your battery and put it on again(Be careful,you often get hard reseted this way).You can do so by haveing your rechargin line connected to your xda i.After the battery change it will probabaly be fine.

I live in pakistan, i tried to change the battery but its still not working even i tried it on external power (charger) but still the same problem.......
it still losses signal suddenly again and again............. even when i am not using it................

Maybe you should try to flash your radio to 1.04 or 1.00 if it's already 1.04 now.and install in bandseltion cab file.I've experienced the same problem sometimes.once it was because of the battery.since I''ve changed it,that barely happens again...
