Hi All,
I bought HTC Tytn II recently... It's rock.....
But i am very disappointed with the earphone quality of HTC... No Bass at all.... I am not saying mp3 playing quality is bad... I tried my motorola BT stereo headset and it gave me fantastic output with heavy bass..... So the quality of my HTC earphone is bad...
I found several earphones on HTC website.... can you please help me to find out an excellent HTC earphone which can give full Bassy effects.... or any other brand which haves mini usb port...... Dont want converters please.......

Why not? You are unlikely to find a decent pair of USB earphones IMHO.
I'd get a small adapter and buy some sure earphones for the best possible sound.
don't mean to hijack the thread but can anybody recommend a good bluetooth stereo headset? i want one that will be good with music and also allow me to make calls.
I am particularly looking for an in ear type earphone or a unit that allows me to use my own ear buds.
I've got the i-Tech Clip Radio (http://www.expansys.com/p.aspx?i=145553). Works well with the kaiser, got play/pause, next/prev, volume, and call buttons, bulit in FM radio, and allows you to plug your own earphones in as it has a 3.5 jack.
How is this unit for bass?
Also it looks just like the htc S100, did HTC rebrand it?
I listen to alot of dance music, and with Sony's EX-71s it does me fine!
Yeh, the S100 is HTC's rebranded version of the non FM radio version!
I also have the iTech clip (excellent unit with medium audio quality) as it can handle calls and lets you use any 3.5mm jack units you have but you have loads of cables about (use my B&O earbuds on that).
For genaral use and if I want to anser a call I use the Promate PM-2006 BT stereo headset as it is a halfway sized headphone with good audio quality and in call holding.
But for sheer audio enjoyment, I use my Creative CB2530, absolute bliss and can put most Hi-Fi's to shame.
SOZ, probably not what the thread starter asked for but WHO is gonna produce a GOOD set of headphones terminated in a mini usb? You will need the converter or BT (no converter at all!)
Every BT unit I have works seamlessly, no clicks, no splutters, no bad audio with my 'out of the box' non-carrier HTC TyTnII.

There aren't any "best" headphones without using an adapter. If you want the best you'll need to spend you're looking at the Shure SE530 or go custom which is around $1000. It all depends on your budget.
ive got the Shure e4c's connected through an adapter and i can say you can't get better sound.. its so crystal clear, it sounds better than live people in front of you talking

For example, I have two phones which support A2DP and I use one as my music phone (Nokia N93i) but also use the TYTN 2 as my business phone. What I want is to be listening to my Nokia N93i through the earphones, and If my TYTN 2 rings, the music pauses so I can speak to the caller on the TYTN 2 then revert back to listening to music back on the N93i.....
.....is this even possible?

Well yes to the pairing to two sperate devices, and no to the 'very good sound quality but aren't humongous'. The Promate PM-2006 headset is a 'medium' sized' 'medium to good quality' folding headset with mike. Pair it to both units then disable the function you don't want it to do on whichever phone (under BT settings). It will halt audio and answer the call from the other unit. These headphones were primarily developed to use with a BT mp3 players with capability to connect to your mobile phone but WM phones do both!

Look at the Jabra BT8010. They're a little large, but have the advantage of using it in mono or stereo mode, as well as connecting to 2 devices simultaneously.
Incidentally, Seidio makes earphones that end in the proprietary htc mini-usb format. Haven't tested them out, but they're the only other ones i know of that don't need a converter.
Another vote for iTech Clip Radio. Works awesome with my Ultimate Ears Super fi 5 Extended Bass buds.

The best headphones I ever bought and have the most functionality. The only problem that some people might have is the look and size of the headphones. I have not charged the headphones for a month now and still running on standby.

I think it might be possible using the Sony Erickson BT Earphone Stereo set. Check FleaBay... They got them cheaper than anywhere else. ( BT phone would have to be close to you, just disable the bluetooth on N93i, however The Sony Er unit has a 3.5 jack that can be plugged into the N93i, just marry the TytnII to the bluetooth)
If you marry to phones BT to the headset, and if you get a call from one while listening to music from the other, you will hear both the caller voice and the music at the same time. Jabra is one headset that I know of that can accept two devices, however when tried, I heard the device playing music however the music volume was very low while I talked on the phone. Not a great setup but might do the trick.
I'm looking into car stereos, and is there a way to get one with a usb port that I could do audio out of the phone through it?
Right now I have to cables needed for my phone in the car, power cable and headphones. I'm trying to see how I can eliminate the headphones, but still keep the ability to use my phone for music (while its charging). I keep my music on the internal storage (not SD), but also use Pandora or Audiogalaxy.
Also if there are any stereo units that can do this and have support for ipod of usb that would be great too.
almost every car stereo brand has one with usb ports but unfortunately I think you need one with an auxiliary out that will connect thru 3.5 mm headphone jack
edit: I think there might be some out there that have bluetooth for playing music actually

Check CrutchField.com and it should work just like you want. Go to best buy with your cable and plug into one of the HU's there and try it. Your music would need to be on the SD card and disk drive setup from the phone end I think

This means your phone will act as an USB thumb drive.. It may not be the same effect you want, but is a pretty good solution.
I use a nice sony head to stream the media audio to in my truck, often 8 or 10 hours a day, love it. A few head units will allow phone and audio seperately. The ability to connect bt headset and head unit to the phone is well worth the money if you spend much time driving
Pioneer offers many units that have the bluetooth built in that allow audio streaming and call interuption etc
I know in my 2011 Camaro i can do call audio and any audio on my Incredible (ie: music, sounds, games, videos all output audio via bluetooth since the radio acts as headphones) but of course were also talking about a stereo that has rare support for the Zune integrated right into the USB.
The sony in my 2011 freightliner does the media and phone seperately, phone can be connected to stereo and headset at the same time, mp3 thru the stereo and calls thru the headset. Even with the external mic for the stereo people got too much background noise. Car might be a little quieter inside tho

I got used to Samsungs CarDock mode which allowed to charge the phone and play music through USB port directly to my car stereo (no BT,:crying: ). I used the iBolt XProDock ( here ) which is amazing.
Now I have the M8 and figured out that analog output is not on board. So I am looking for a solution:
a) A BT-receiver for my car audio, optimally charged with max 5.0 V via USB plug)
b) Any digital to analog converter (dac?), but not too much gadgets to be supplied with power and cables
c) A second earphone-cable ?
d) A software solution to get analog sound from USB?
Any suggestions?

If you have an AUX input, get a stereoclip.. Uses APT-x codec for cd+ quality sound. Lasts about 6 hours on a charge.

APT-X Bluetooth codec actually sounds better than USB analog audio output. No engine noise or light clicks/background noise going on.
And it's a much higher quality than normal Bluetooth.
BUT, some apps are not yet APT-X friendly.
Utter being one of them if I remember correct.

Looks cool, but needs a car power outlet which I don't want to block with this gadget. Since I use a plantronics BT-heaset for calls no handsfree functionality is required. But thnx for this!

Sorry, how could that affect the idea of APT-X in my car? The One M8 works with APT-X, and when the BT-receiver also does, shouldn't any music player work fine? I use Player Pro, and this app works fine over regular BT. Is there a difference with APT-X?

Yes, APT-X is handled differently somehow.
All music players I've tried have worked just fine though.
I think it's more "voice controlled" bluetooth related apps that sometimes have problems.

I bought a tiny BT-Receiver / (even with transmitter, which I don't need), here.

APT-X cannot be used with just any device. In order to get full potential from apt-X you need to have AAC audio files which the HTC one m8 support and will give you much better sound then mp3. Also APT-X can only be used if the speakers support apt-X as well as the phone. If your phone supports apt-X but your speaker or stereo does not then the APT-X will not work. There are only a handful of speakers and stereos that support APT-X. But like I said APT-X supports audio at a higher bit-rate, then standard Bluetooth, and higher then a docked iPod. For good audio performance you need both a phone/player, and speaker/stereo that support APT-X on both ends, and you might want to load some songs from a CD in AAC format onto your computer to give you that CD quality sound, or buy some songs from HDtracks.com , to play using APT-X. But also the HTC one M8 should have gotten the lollipop 5.1 update which supports usb audio/host. So I would check and see if you have lollipop 5.1
I'm having audio issue with a growing number of my games when using bluetooth headphones. When I play a game the audio lags and skips. I know it's a problem with something in the phone. I have an old Jabra A120 and when I connect to it and plug it into the headphone jack the audio is fine, but at that point I might as well use wired headphones. I was wondering if anyone else has/fixed this issue? when

Yes, I believe so. I can pair either 2 sets of headphones, speaker and headphones or 2 speakers. They might not be able to be synced to the audio together but should work regardless.
