How to unlock SIM on the HTC Touch HD?

That has been already answered few posts earlier.
Until now, for me www.htcunlock.net is best service.
I used www.htccode.com yesterday and was unlocked within 30 minutes - excellent service
or just PM Tupisdin
Another SIM unlock dicussion - Closed.

Hi All,
I live in Egypt and i got my herald from Mobinil , it was working with windows mobile 5 and was unlocked for all networks.
Then i upgraded it with the HTC windows mobile 6 official rom and now its only unlocked for mobinil!!! when i inserted my vodafone sim it said enter network code!! i tried other roms from here but its still locked!!
any suggestions??

I am always the first to help people on here ... you can ask anyone that ... but quite frankly, I've personally answered that question like 5 times in the past 2 days... It's a little ridiculous that everyone expect us to spoon feed you all the information, when its in here ... all you have to do is READ!
You could've just answered instead of writing this article!!! and by the way i did read all those previous posts but none of them apply to my situation...mine was unlocked first then got locked!! unlike all the other posts which were locked to begin with.

Like Duprade said in the previous article, READ. Good lord man, it doesnt matter if yours was locked before, it is now! Which means the artciles he posted would apply to your situation. RTFM

kpn locked dutch htc wings
i have a problem i have a kpn locked htc wings but i am not long enough by the profider to get a free unlock code from them i need to be 1 year by that profider befor i get 1 and i need to unlock my wings becuase i am going to vodafone and that sim doesnt work in the wings
my question does someone no a methode to unlock it sin unlocker 0.1 doenst work

Have a look at the Hard SPL post above.. that should give you all the info you need. Or go to modmydiamond.info
The Hard SPL should allow it.
I must say though back up the Orange system before doing the change as they won't look at the phone or accept it back if it doesn't have the stock orange ROM on it.
As yet no Super CID has been released so you can't unlock the phone without paying to do so. There is a thread on it already.
All this info is easily found with the search function and most if not all are on the first page of this forum.

I found this in the ROM Developer section, It would appear that there is no free solution as yet, but im sure the Developers are working on it so eyes peeled and all that!

This thread is not "supported" by xda developers per say. Eqx posted in an effort to avoid the problems tupisdin's thread had in the Blackstone forum. Although, if he were a scammer, this post would be history by now.

CID unlocking nowadays (since the hermes/trinity days anyhow) means you have Hard SPL to flash custom ROMs (I suppose it could also mean using a Goldcard to change language). (See FAQ #3 for my explanations)
So no, you won't have this until OliNex release one.

Oh, I disagree. Questions in the abstract are nearly always good. The implementation of seeking an answer to the question - for example, starting a new thread to ask something on a forum with multiple threads already covering that topic, to say nothing of the rest of the web - can certainly be quite the opposite of valuable.
Also: I think that when a "noob" asks a question on which there are many answers on various forum sites and network, if you just answer it directly, you are actually misinformed. It is much better to make him see, so friendly, you should get some. Sure you will find not only what you wanted at that time if not many other useful things ...

What's your Network carrier?
Sure..If your Nokia Lumia 520 is network locked you can easily unlock it using the unlock code.There many ways to get the code from service provider,Shops,Online third party and so on..You can try at this site OnlineGSMUnlock.com here specify your Network provider,Country,IMEI..After they will send the permanent unlock code with free instructions through your E-mail..Then you can use this code to easily unlock your mobile..
If you're long-time AT&T customer with good standing on the account, then goto AT&T device unlock portal to file the request. Use Google to find the link, I am too new to post it.
If your request is approved, then you will get the unlock code within 48 hours. It is completely free. It can take up to 5 business days to consider your request.

I am writing this because i truly cannot find the only answer i want in the forum.
You guys probably heared this over and over again, but i was not writing this thread if i could have found the answer (i believe is quite simple for you, so i ask kindly for you, XDA community, answer me).
I am from Portugal and i recently bought a HTC ONE. (do not even know if it is the M7 or not, in its box only says htc ONE).
It is blocked to a single operator (TMN).
Since it is not my operator, i need some help obviously.
How can I ONLY unlock sim card (since i want the device as original, just want to insert another operator sim card).
Are there any steps i should follow to get this done? I have red many post from the community but i do not understand any of them.
If any of you guys would be kind enough to write here step by step what should i do, i would appreciate that.

Yes its possible to sim unlock. You should first try to call the carrier and ask them to give you the unlock code (you will need to give them the phone IMEI # which can be found on the box next to the s/n# or can be found in your phone settings ---> about phone ---> phone identity
If the carrier don't want to give you the unlock code, you can pay for that service. Many internet site offer that service (even trough Ebay). Again you will need to provide IMEI. Generally cost between 10-20$ US
Edit: You'll be prompted to enter that unlock code when you'll insert the sim card that isn't from TMN.

Thanks. I did that with a site (one of those immediate answering sites) and the really sent me a code, but a wrong one (so it says on my mobile phone).

Try with the carrier, sometimes they do it for free.
