WM2006 AKU7.0 RAMDisk-40MB Pagepool size-24MB for Himalaya

WM6 ROM cooked using AKU7.0 is finally out for testing. It uses 24MB of pagepool and the RAMDisk is 40MB. You would like the speed of this ROM. With this the memory structure becomes as follows:--

The slow scroll problem while viewing the web page fixed.

Added the WMplayer ver 11.2
Added WkTask1101 a Wonderful task manager including Application launcher (Thanks to Waku)
Added Ftouchflo for touch type scrolling a great creation by efrost. (Thanks to efrost)
Modified the settings in network Wizard for BSNL, India for proper functioning of GPRS/MMS.
Removed:
Removed SpeedDial (ETEN) as I feel is no longer needed.
Removed the DialPad input metod.

Errata:
In the text document accompanying the ROM, the OS ver written as 5.2.1620 (Build 18125.0.7.0) by Mistake. It should be read as OS 5.2.1908 (Build 18508.0.7.0)

Wow! the old "turn on flight mode" in the phone bubble again
After so many progs in the ROM as well as NETCF2.0 I still have 21MB free in my Storage memory Superb!!!

cant connect to my DT
gr8 news to hear that theres a fully functional WM6! i have a prob, apparently my device connects when its on... syncs perfectly... i downloaded the ROM, and tried to flash it... somehow in the bootloader mode, the device does not seem to connect at all... , gives me a "101" cannot connect to device error... any suggestions/solutions? wat could be the problem?

indeed am using the HimaUpgradeUt_noID and still getting a prob... when i connect the phone normally... it connects, syncs up and all... in bootloader the screen changes to USB as well, but when i try to flash, it apparently sees no connection
this is wat it says "ERROR 101: CONNECTION ERROR"

The word suggest is fully functional dear. check your word suggest settings..

because i took this rom as base its the best german rom. I cleaned it up a little and added german keyboard by default and the Tools as postet. I didnt use a kitchen.
I dont know how to change the xip for himalaya so...

i wasnt jokeing i have not a kitchen for himalaya like i have for the kaiser or the diamond. I collected only the tools to insert or remove files from an existing rom - so its more a fireplace then a kitchen for me but it does the job.
Updating the xip is what i learned something like install a servicepack for windows xp.
to ather: i read the tut i know how to get the xip.bin but i would like to know how to insert new xip.bin into nk.nba.

thanks, very easy, i took from a kaiser dump the Base_Lang_0407 the msimde.dll and from the Base_Lang_0407_DPI_96 folder the msimde.96.dll and integrated the files and compared the rgu from both kaiser folders with the default.hv and user.hv registry overwriting the ones for english keyboard in the himalaya rom.

Very nice ROM!
I successfully run it with Manilla2D, that eats up a lot of Main Storage. As I use a SDOI WLAN Card, I need to install Skype on the device. So I wonder, if you could provide the ROM with Ram-Disc, as it was originally done by DKAMIN?

Thanks, 32 MB ramdisk? I have too Manila 2D running in german, but with older Album version with need to select folder for pic, i would like to have one of the never Opal or Iolite Albums to work but didnt succeed - in M2D the pics are shown correct but if i press on a picture i have to select a folder the picture is not shown. Maybe you have it working?

This ROM is exactly what I need. By the way, I have the same issue with "Photo&Video" Tab. Additionally, I couldn´t find out how to handle the Portrait and Landscape format in this tab.
Also I can´t run videos in fullscreen landscape mode using WMP. But I keep on trying - might be related to registry.

Ok i added some missing registry and codec files videos are now playing in fullsreen landscape. I cleaned some more files in the registry and rom so i can not say what caused this so i uploaded the new rom V2:

ROM works great, one minor bug....in HTC camera/video tab the pictures are shown slightly out of center, any idea how i can solve this?

Yes it is, Adding tomtom and full iolite uses this much space.
You can try the new stripped version this one has lots of more storage.
Or try the new full version which has 5 mb more storage.

check the first post.. you were complaining about storage so in the stripped version all unnecessary parts are removed. If you want tomtom

after a while a globe icon notification popped up to auto setup the cellular network. built in to WM6.5 i think

LOL! i got SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO confused!!!!!! i flashed ur rom and then saw my welcomehead192.png appear i was like WTF?! where did THAT come from?! it was supposed to be all gone wtf? wtf??!?!?!
then it occurred to me, u incorporated it into your rom lol
i feel flattered
though the credit for the diamonds/ice pieces doesnt go to me heheh
amazing 38 seconds to boot from vibrate! very fast rom install and no locked UC installation after flashing!!

Sorry, i just used the google's image searcher, i didnt know it yours Anyway its really awesome so thanks for this i hope it isnt a problem if i use this. If its a problem i take down the download link and remove that from my rom. You know i also upload all of my resources (like here) and that isnt a problem if someone use them. It make only good feelings Sorry about this.

I think your ROM is really nice, but with other ROMS the 3G part is done automaticly with all other ROMS I ever used and this is really needed for I think almost all users.
If you can add this, this ROM could be the best ever.
Might also be better to use Opera 10, this is the fastest browser I know atm.
But I really want to say this ROM has a lot of potential!

I really like you ROM! It's incredible fast. Only one small minor. In the weather tab the days are not in English, can I change that myself?

I like the ROM coz it's simple customizable but the weather cannot be updated. Internet explorer is also not going anywhere.

Just change the Regional Settings (Start menu - Settings - System)

I just update the weather through activesync and wifi and here its working.
IE will be replaced with Opera.
I hope i can upload my new release today. I've remade my kitchen, the rom contains more optimizations, Opera will be included, WMP skin will be changed (thats buggy what we have now) and some more
I will upload my kitchen too.
