gps enabled and tomtom 6.0.30 present in french ROM (SFR s300+)

hello all ,
this is my first post , hope to interest you
first , i discover this site 1 month ago , i am very fond of it .... thanks to all
so i bought this morning the trinity at my operator (SFR equal to vodafone) and i just want to tell that the gps works and tomtom is present in the EXT ROM
can i dump the ROM to upload it here ?

before i used the tytn with the SFR ROM and in the today page , there was a useful plugin : number of messages in my "boite vocale" "vocal box" excuse me i don't know the english expression for that
do you know where i can find this useful .cab ?
the tytn is definitively too heavy

currently, xda-developers will not offer uploading to the ftp section ( M$ is beening gay).

don't know how you can dump full rom, someone can help ?

you can backup EXT_ROM by editing the registry:
show ext_rom:

power off your device for 10 seconds, soft reset;
then ext_rom will appear in the root of your device, and you can copy files to your computer.

ps: SFR rom (aku3.3) is better than the Orange one.

If you upgrade to the Orange-FRE ROM... for sure, your divice will be in French (the whole system and included applications).
If you are speaking about the GPS software... No... just the soft is in French

The way you phrased the question the answer is no.
You're asking me to put GPS into a ROM that has no GPS support.
I cannot do this, maybe someone else can. I know the hermes people have been trying to do this but I haven't read up on their research yet.
It was possible for german because two companies (Vodafone and Swisscom) released devices that had GPS pre-installed. I used a dumped ROM (1:1 copy) from one of those devices and converted it to be flashable.
So in order to get a french rom with GPS you'll have to either
1) find a device that comes with french GPS ROM pre-installed
OR
2) find a way to include GPS drivers into a non-GPS ROM
If you do the first, I can easily make you a flashable ROM. If no such device exists, you'll need to research option two.

My answer is yes.
1) May be all mui's from french rom is suitable for german rom with gps.
2) You need to sign all french mui's with certificate and place this mui's with certificate in rom
3) replace iniflashfiles.dat from german rom with same file from french rom (with some additional info if it's need)
4) replace all files that contains GER in name with french files
5) edit some registry entries. replace its with french named entries.

If there already is a flashable ROM, why should I reconstruct one.
The AKU3.3 you mentioned might be worthwile to dump, if you can find someone with that device that is.
But what's wrong with the Orange ROM that you can download at the given location, looks like it has everything one needs (except AKU 3.3 maybe).

Yes and if it possible I want 1.000.000$. This is not how this works, you don't wish for things and they miraculously come true. How are we supposed to give you an original HTC ROM if HTC does not release one?
I told you that as long as nobody provides an AKU3.3 dump I have nothing to work on. You could flash the Orange ROM and you would at least have GPS.
What is possible is to create a "cleaned" version of the Orange Update (no extrom or HTC extrom). It wouldn't be much work but I don't see the benefit. Did you try the Orange ROM already?
Get me a ROM dump of the SFR and I'll make it flashable for you. That will get you a 3.3 AKU.

For the pocket MSN : I can give directly the cab for "Windows LIVE and LIVE messenger" this evening when coming back to home (You can directly install via the cab and It works fine for me.)

Hi folks!
I've been using Windows Mobile devices a long time. At the beginning with my Touch Dual, there are few roms that passed the device.
Now I can call a Touch Pro2 my own. But the big problem is that there aren't any stock roms available for flashing if any "upgrade"-rom doesn't work or doesn't work good.
So i dumped my TP2, German, Stock, and would ask you, if there is a fine cook with with a german kitchen (if it is necessary to use a german kitchen with a german dump, don't know) to build at least a stock rom.

This is not a rom. It's just a rom dump. And this dump is from my Touch Pro2. It's a stock swiss german rom dump without any brandings of a provider.
And with this dump the cooks can build som flashable roms with their kitchens.

It is not flashable until HardSPL is exist.

it is version 1.19.407.0 (51489)
cmon people, nobody cares what WM61 OS is in it, ROM version is the important number.

You can't flash this ROM because of the missing HardSPL! You can only flash a real HTC ROM by GoldCard method! Search and you'll find the answer!
