Kovsky Kitchen

This the WM6.1 Xperia ROM Kitchen by originally developed by jcespi2005 and jugglerlkr. I have adapted it to work with the Xperia! Please search XDA for the full tutorial which is pretty much the same for other phones.
http://rapidshare.com/files/166098346/KovskyKitchen.rar.html
Can someone please upload this to a premium or FTP account please? This link has a 10 download limit.
Note: XP SP2 or Vista with MS .NET Framework required to use it.
Remember to backup your phone and use HardSPL before you flash ANY rom!!
Download the BaseRom you wish to use here on XDA and extract your RUU_signed.nbh. Download the kitchen and read the included instructions to install and start cooking!
Unrar Kovsky kitchen to the root of c: so you have c:\kovskykitchen
The Kovsky ROM Kitchen has been created using the tools and knowledge of many people (not limited to those who are mentioned below)

dark simpson

I started this thread because I could not see one for an Xperia rom kitchen.
I have modified a Raphael Kitchen so it will cook X1 roms. Is anyone interested? If so, I think I will have to get someone's permission to release it.
Any ideas / does anyone want the kitchen?

Yeah, I'd be interested in learning how to cook ROMS. How hard is it to learn how to do it? I've been a developer for many years so have a good level of technical skill.
Cheers

Pretty much the same except I have removed everything that is Raphael and replaced with X1. There is also some config updates in Dark Simpson's tool so it signs the rom properly.

Cheers itje, I will release it this weekend with credits. Everyone else, standby - just need to test it a bit more.
Anyone hoping to use the kitchen should look for the tutorials for using it as there is no point in me writing another one when there are already plenty of good ones at XDA.

change pagepool size
how do we change the pagepool size and rom date?
thanks in advance.
required to use HardSPL prior per any uprom or up radio ?
Hi,
Please could someone do a guide/tutorial for this kitchen.
I am aware that there is a guide for the Kaiser, but is this really the same?
It would be nice if there was a step by step and 'what you need' list so that people can start dumping/cooking roms for themselves.
If there already is a guide/tutorial then I apologise, could someone please link?
Thanks,
Phil Rich

I agree, since there aren't many cooked rom's available at the moment for the X1
I'm having a huge problem with this kitchen.. well all kitchens. IMGFSFROMDUMP keeps crashing. All i do is extract a stock rom and it fails everytime. Can someone point me in the right direction?
Question
Is there any other mirror for this kitchen? The current mirror keeps failing me at 10%.
I'm not sure why though.
is it possible to re-up the ZIP please? because it is offline... thanks in advance!!
File isn't available anymore. Any other links?
someone please upload kovskykitchen.zip i wanted to backup my rom...

[12.02.2009] Blueangel and Harrier Shipped Roms and Radio's Collection

I had this collection lie around my hard drive, and i decided to share it with all the people who may need it. Because of too many forum limitations i deciced to setup a lil page in which links will be, all in one place. I will update this page with more Blueangel specific stuff which is no longer available from anywhere (or too hard to find), like radio roms, upgrade tools etc.
Why i do this ?
Well wiki links are kind of outdated, most of the roms are not currently available from these links. So i uploaded to 3 mirrors my collection and now i am lurking to any site to find any BA rom to make my collection more complete. Some of you may ask why do you bother dealing with WM2003 when we have WM6.5 - well when you brick your phone it is helpful to have the original provider rom lieing nearby
http://alevri.atspace.com/
[12.02.2009] - uploaded aditional 27 Blueangel shipped roms and one Harrier, some of which were never presented on this site either
[08.02.2009] - just bought a another shipped rom collection from a guy, expect it uploaded soon for free - includes more Chinese, German, French, Spanish and English roms, from many versions and operators.
[05.02.2009] - added all known BA shipped radio versions that i can find, added more French, Spanish, Italian, Portugal, German, Chinese Traditional roms
Added new Harrier section too with harrier shipped roms and radios
http://harrier.atspace.com
Near Future Plans:
1. There are 2 more BA roms which i want to find, and a few Harrier
If someone have difrend versions than mine please post them here to complete the archive
Great post! Which ROM is the best, what do you think?
well when i used original roms i used the latest t-mobile nl 1.42.119
Thanks! Just flashed it over wm6.5 speeeedyyyyy
great job xplode!
nice addition xplode, A+++
first post updated - huge additions
PLease a mod to pin this thread, because it is kind of important
Thx a Lot
it's a gratefull for your shared collection, it's really helpfull
You great you save me!
Thanks
My harrier radio version HA02_123 was not on the list.
Hi Xplode
Thanks for your ROMs, I am facing one problem, after upgrading your latest rom WM6.5 (Rel 6.1) my radio is giving "No Service" when I go back to Original shipped ROM, its working file (that having radio 1.06, please help me
.
It's a common problem in BA on all roms wm 5/6/6.1...
Just do a soft reset every time you see "no service"
It helps
Always

WM 6.5 resources

Hi,
I want to start playing around with Windows Mobile 6.5 . Unfortunately I couldn't find any resources? The only thing I've found is a dump, performed with Ervius's kitchen, but I would like to have a "normal" dump with all dsm files included.
Can anyone provide me some links, have searched for a while, but it seems that I can't find anything .
The latest release seems to be 21815, would be great if there would be such a resource ?
Best regards
johnpatcher
The sys is released in this thread first.
Da_G posts DPI's and resolutions for other phones in the same post. Everything you need is there
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=474406
Thanks!
I think I've looked over the thread already, but thought it was the kitchen only, downloading it right now!

Packages...

I am trying to build my first ROM using Visual Kitchen. My problem is that i don't know which packages i really need. Is there a post that explains what each package is needed for? If an experienced cooker knows, it would be really helpful to write a few comments for each package. At least for the packages in the SYS which as far as i know are common for all Windows Mobile Devices.
There's nosuch thing already
Let's do it:
Publish a list of packages and I can start writing some info about each one
I have a Packages.doc ready for you to add some Comments. I used the package names as listed by latest visual kitchen 1.7 for 23008 build.
A couple of Raphael users or already making a list in the wiki section:
http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=RaphaelOEMDefaultPackages
The first part, SYS, is the same for X1. But the second part is OEM/EXT section of Raphael, not the same on X1.
