I'm cooking up a rom but was wondering, Could I cook up a rom with linux kernel? How would I go on doing this?

As far as I know there is no difference but do not take that for granted
There is no best rom for installing other ROMs
Custom ROMs will replace old ROMs file, so it doesn't matter which ROM you have...
The best rom for your new rom is your old rom...

Can someone tell me on which rom part (folder) i can find the tweaks and modification of a custom rom, like for example on PAC Rom, Ressurection Remix & Mokee Rom (some of the custom rom i been testing on my old tab)
