Yesterday, I installed the custom firmware OTP 7.5. The thing was, that this firmware is in english and I needed a swedish one, so I entered regestry editor and changed a couple of things and mae the keyboard swedish. Everything worked perfect till then. When I tried these,
HKLM-SOFTWARE-MICROSOFT-INTERNATIONAL
Here you can add the desired language code:
ACP: Regioal setting (Hungary is 1252)
LCID: Language setting (English is 1033)
plus I changed the mui to the swedish, my phone wont enter windows and the usb cant connect now. It gets to the screen where it says "OT7" then it sticks there.
PLEASE HELP.

I have put back a wrong backup ( a backup from before I flashed my Wizard ). Now after I do a reset it keeps hanging in the Windows Mobile screen and won't start...In fact if I do a hard reset it does the same...it won't let me install all over...

Hi, got a new tytn11 phone and was trying to follow the flash but messed up lol.
all i get now is a blank screen (black) with green led on.

u can definitely find the answer.
Were you trying to flash a stock ROM or a cooked ROM?? If it was a cooked ROM did you have Hard SPL on your PDA before flashing??
Please post your ROM, Radio ROM number if you can recollect the same.
hi i didn`t get as far as flashing i think. i didnt read the info right had no hard spl installed, it all went wrong whebn i pressed the camera power and done a reset, all i got next was a black screen nothing else.
sorry dont know what version things are only got the phone 2 days ago lol and was playing.
OK.. you never actually connected your phone to the comp and tried flashing a ROM?? did you try a hard reset?? you need to press the two soft keys (the ones above the explorer and messaging buttons) and simultaneously reset the phone using the stylus.
Follow the instructions on screen when you are asked to press the send key.
NOTE: all your contacts and data will be lost when you hard reset, but phone will be back in its factory state.
i formated the sd card with a program the format went ok then a message poped up saying you are still here somethink has gone wrong, then i pressed the camera and power button and done a soft reset now i just have a blank screen with green led on.
Have tried hard reset but nothing happens. the green and red button and the reset ?
Also did not have it connected to pc everything was done via sd card

just tried that with the keys above ie and messages but my key pad lights dont come on it like the phone is turned off accept one green led top of phone.

u need to hold the stylus in the hole a few seconds, if that will not help, I suggest u to read the "kaiser wiki troubleshoot section", there is an answer for sure.

I've searched alot for this kinda problem but it seems I AM the only one who has this problem.
I had succesfully installed R2AA0010 UK ROM 4 months ago using Micro SD Method, but now when i'm trying to upgrade it to R3A version the Volume Down+Power Button is not working and I can make it to tri color screen. (Just nothing happens)
I've tried SSPL Manual as well but it stops on screen "Loading..." and nothing is happening!
Please help!!!

vol down and the press the power key and keep pressing it till u see the tricolor screen.....don stop even if ur feel the vibration!!!

EDIT: I've found how to hard reset but when i'm pressing the silver buttons they're also doing nothing. (The WM will come up normally)
I think i'm gonna lose it
You can just load the bootloader from the windows directory...
I think it is called botloader.exe
there is only 1 o... try to open that .exe bootloader should show up and you are ready to flash.

Yes, that's what I exactly did! But the normal windows will come up!
HR through settings
another way to hard reset it to go
start > settings > system tab > clear storage
then press 1234 and press yes
maybe your spl is a bit damaged cause you can't hard reset and you can't flash sspl
try flashing hspl again
to hard reset
switch off
press both silver buttons
just press power button briefly, dont hold power button.
keep pressing both silver buttons till reset screen

Next time you can call this screen the bootloader screen... don't call it volume down and power button because it is very misleading...
hi mate.i can tell you your x1 is dead.because my phone has exactly same problem.i took my x1 to SE service and they change my touch pad navigation panel and navigation buttons.just 2days later phone got dead again now none off my buttons are functioning.i am gonna claim new phone from them.because they also gave same crack to phone panel as well.so dont spent your time.just bring back your phone to orginal condition and send to repair.everything your stock version orginal spl and orginal rom etc...i will let you know what SE tell me.cheers
ps: people complain about crack in their case.this issue (my buttons are not working any more) is very common nowadays we must complain to SE as well.this issue needs new sticky topic.thanks

But my silver keys are working in the windows normally
i get to the bootloader screen by pressing the camera- and the powerbutton. maybe that will work for you too?!

U need to copy Rom which U want to upgrade to SD card. If u want cooked room so flash Hard-SPL, and then it will automatically install rom U want. or if stock Rom so flash Hard-SPL back to stocks.

did it have any ROM flashed in?
try to hard reset:
take out battery and again put in.
then press and hold both left, right soft keys, turn on phone. don't release soft keys until appears screen with blue text on white background. it will say press R to hard reset, X to cancel.
slide out keyboard, press R, wait until it finishes (takes about 2-3 sec.) then press SPACE.
phone will reboot and hard reseted. hope it helps.

maybe your Rom was crash.. just hard reset as orkhanahmadov says... or if its not fix the problem just flash your phone with new ROM...

most likely some conflict wiht software. telling us what kind of cabs u install and what rom u have may help? if u tried everything then the only option is hard reset. backup everything first tho.
To hard reset: hold 2 silver keys and press power button once and then let go of ONLY the power button.
