I've used Mugen batteries on Eten devices and they have worked OK, extending life between charges by about 20% with no change in use.
1) The 1800mAH bettery advertised on the link you provided is an interesting lead. It would replace the existing battery without increasing it's depth in the battery well and should increase life between charges. It may also go some way to reducing the overheating when using wifi or GPS while charging
2) the 3600mAH will obviously require a replacement battery cover to cope with increased battery depth
BUT:
3) are these genuine Mugen ? Or just fake copies from some counterfeiter in China ? The "diagram" of an X1 accompanying the 3600mAH battery is not an X1
4) suspiciously, the only contact detail is an email address for a distributor not known
I haven't pursued the email link yet - I'm not yet ready for the possibility of uncontrollable spam
Nonetheless, if you pursue this, post your results here ? Mugen batteries for the X1 is an interesting avenue

I really want to have it. Pls just drop out an email address or phone number?

Suit for Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 (BST-41), for detail please email at [email protected]
Good luck

The 3600mAH battery on the picture states
Sony Erisson and not
Sony Ericsson
Haha.

Well, no wonder.... this is located in Hong Kong... not more to say about that. Just look at their website...nothing there either!

+1 is it a fake ? or a new sh't from ch'na

I didn't have good experiences with "non original" batteries T_T
anyways, that shiny silver cover is f****** ugly

The real Mugen website does not list the battery model discussed here.
My feeling is that it is too early yet for Mugen to have produced extended batteries for the X1.

Yak!
The major thing I have about my X1 that I would change if I could is the thickness.
Making it thicker even with a better battery!
I'd have to stick with their 1800mAh version.

Come on, stop joking and let all of us know how to buy

Released sooner than I'd expected.
From earlier Eten experience, shop.eten.hu is a reliable retailer ... naturally, they have no stock yet, supposedly mid-March

oh again fake...
but may be someone test it....

All i have to say is, don't buy batteries from China. Ever. Period. Buy batteries from Japan, or Taiwan. Apart from other experience, I just had my open box battery die on me for my X1a, and I've had the phone less than 4 days, haha! They replaced it with a battery from China; I wept. So far it's lasted long enough to do a ROM flash....

What do you mean???

Anyone with the 3600mAh Mugen battery? We need pics to see how thick it gets and how the replacement cover is made. I can't make out anything from the picture on the and store sites.

the HTC HD2 Extended Battery (HTC-EBATHD2), which they expect to arrive in February 2010 and which promises to double battery life.
Minimum capacity of 2200mAH.

Actually, this is a good idea if you don't mind the thickness of the battery but with the Kick Stand is very cool.
Wonder when it will be available in Singapore HTC Service Centre?
So we can get double the battery life at the expense of it no longer fitting in holsters et cetera?
No thanks.
I think it looks quite cool, but I have doubts it will be out in Feb. Our HTC guy says
"Not released yet due to approval status. Hope to be able to send out more details next month."
and that is just more details not the product itself.
That kickstand looks very handy, not so keen on the thickness but I guess that's what you get with so much power.

Given that my HD2 has been known to go from 100% battery to zero in less than 9 hours without even coming out of stand-by, this can't come soon enough for me.
render looks nice, but how will it be looking in real?
If you compare the thickness of this HD2 with the extended battery to the combination of iPhone and Mophie Juice Pack then this is essentially thinner and definitely more attractive.
I would get one as soon as it arrives at Germany.
good idea with kickstand, but in my point its need a bluetooth keyboard to support, because we should touch the screen more carefully when it stand.

check this out its a bluetooth keyboard you can connect and is definitely pocketable:
http://cache.gizmodo.com/assets/resources/2007/02/btkeyboard.jpg
i was thinking of using it in conjunction with the new extended kickstand. i think it looks awesome. i have an extended battery with my g1 which is hella chunky so this wont bother me one bit since more longevity, sleek looking and functionality (kickstand) i can see myself doing work on it more.
Cost of both: £80 (might be able to get it less for both)
I think the extended battery and kick stand will be great for watching movies, slideshows and the media player. What would make it even nicer would be for Sense to have a landscape mode as well.... Is this in the 2.xx ROM?
I want this !
I'm dreaming of that since weeks. After seeing that image weeks ago I felt immediately in love with it. ;-)
I really hope that this is gonna look as shown on that image. Once thats out there will be hopefully new cases considering the size with extended battery
Nice that they have made that battery...but there is no information about its cappacity?
Original stock battery's cappacity is 1230mah if I'm correct...what's the new one's?
Something around 2200 if I'm not mistaken.
http://www.devicewire.co.uk/official-htc-hd2-extended-battery
Yikes! Price: £51.08! That's $82 for ya'll Stateside. Seems pretty pricey to me...
And for us TMO HD2 owners...
Does anyone know if this extended battery will fit the US TMO HD2 version? I'm seriously thinking about getting one, but have my concerns about it not fitting, as some HD2 cases do not fit the TMO version...
And can someone post a link to that cool bluetooth keyboard that was posted above?
what would be even better is if it incorporated a charger just like the palm pre touchstone or the power mat

Some people carry two batteries with them.
Also think of the Momax battery, its only rated 1100mah but people say it performs better than the stock battery. I too would be interested to see how you get on with this battery, as I have thought about getting one.
1300 mAH and no new battery door needed? this means its the same size, right?
Yes same size! No need to buy an oder cover !
Is it really a better Battery than the Original ?? Beacause they say ''Better Long Life" but any how many hour??

I too prefer to keep 2 batteries with me. Must while travelling, but in city too, i carry a spare in my laptop bag, its so frustating to see no energy left middle of the day jus coz i used the phone heavily since morning!
Waiting for Momax X-Level battery, it sure worked better than stock for my ex-HD.
found this while looking around... seems 2 be a 1300mah bat for htc hd2 for $7????

After a couple of days of discharging and recharging the battery is holding out 2-3 hours longer in my daily routine which is as follows:
Activesync on "As item is received"
3G permanently on
3-4 hours of music
~1 hour of browsing
Few minutes of youtube
Twitter every 15 mins
Facebook every 2 hours
Weather every hour
Even for the £22 it would've cost this battery is well worth it but for free, even better
Sits flush in the device just like the original with no problems. 40% at 10pm, unplugged at 8am
hi, ordered one mugen 1300 from mugen website.

Motorola Defy Extended Battery idea

Since the Motorola Defy uses the same battery as the Droid X, you can order a 1750 mah battery here at http://www.seidioonline.com/product-p/basi17mtdx.htm for way better life.
anyone tried yet?
Theoretically, then we could also use battery from Motorola Atrix which uses a massive 1900mah. No?
The Droid X battery is a BH5X
The Defy is a BF5X (at least the uk one I have is)
I'm not saying they wont fit the Defy, but it would be nice know from someone who has tried if they do,before stumping up the cash?
There is a BH6X Motorola extended battery
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rTbb2f81_HI
This might fit also?
UPDATE
OK it looks like the Droid X battery has flat contacts,
and the Defy has the blades that fits into slots in the battery.
So even though its the same physical size and shape it
won't fit without a bit of serious hacking?
So clever of Motorola to make each of their products so individual and different. You cant help but feel a little special
in owning one. ;-)
BH5X
http://www.trait-tech.com/product/T-BH-5X/
that would be very nice as battery life is allready quite tidy on the defy, dont see why it shouldnt work tho might give it a try
Perhaps we can ask tenfar or another chinese from this forum who know if there exist good batteries in china...

I have this one, arrived in a few days, charger seems to work fine, batteries fit and work but build quality is lacking (pushing battery into charger causes the end of the battery to flex and come away from the inside).
As for time, I've only tried once since I received it the other day and it seems to last about half a day.
Good and cheap for backups, but no good as replacements.

Yes. Very reliable and quality batteries. The do what they are suppose to. They say if something can be done or not, and that is rare. I've seen them say a Desire HD 1800 battery was in the works (like the ones you can find on Ebay), but after trial and error, they scrapped it because it didn't meet their standards. They could have just made it, and made money off it, but they took the high road. I would buy from them anytime.

Firstly, thanks for the link.
Secondly, has anyone ordered/tried one of these yet?
Whilst it's not a huge increase in capacity, an extra ~10% if it doesn't require a larger/distended battery cover wouldn't be too shoddy.
And I'm guessing that since the product page states 'Battery Door - Not Required', that means it uses the standard battery cover?
Just wanted to point out that the original battery is now available on the Motorola EU store online http://www.motorolastore.eu/de/p_motorola_product.aspx?i=207650

I emailed Mugen and they told me it fits i9023. Of course, they're somewhat unreliable, they want you to buy.
this battery is amazing. seriously what it has in bulk it makes up for in the length of time it lasts. mine is lasting about 4 times aslong as the oem battery.
Anyone knows a good charger to charge this monster fast?
Does the battery get hotter then a normal one when used for a long period?
My Experience with the mugen battery was not so nice, i bought the 1600 mah and was not even close to stock!! Mugen and sedio in my experience have not been good! Just something tho think about! Also i think that there are better extended battery backs than what mugen has to offer as well!

Edit: Rated and typical capacities differ.
I saw this. A shame on OnePlus for sure. Add it to the list, along with cell provider compatibility (Verizon).
PS. Although I have pretty solid SOT, it's probably going back if I can't use it on Verizon reliably for business.
I noticed same with accuser battery app that the estimate is 3800. Maybe it's reserved/locked like a Tesla?
The rated capacity is 3880 while the typical capacity is 4000.

Or 120 mAh... If you are using that thing called 'math'
For those who have not looked closely at the photos of the battery and/or don't understand the difference between rated and typical capacity:
The battery says Rated Capacity 3800mah AND Typical Capacity 4000mah... so Oneplus HAS NOT LIED at all, it does have a battery with a Typical Capacity of 4000mah.
The Rated Capacity is what you would get if you discharged the battery at 2+ Amps... A cell phone should never be pulling that much current .... If instead you drain the battery at a much lower rate (like 200ma or less) you will get a capacity of around 4000mah.
In other words: Don't accuse someone of lieing without making sure you know what you are talking about first.

120mAh which is 3% of the advertised battery capacity and I don't remember any math class I ever took where I allowed to round up by 120 units and the answer still be valid. This isn't hard drive sales.
Edit: I'm wrong and now looking at the Galaxy S10+ and the Huawei P30 Pro all their "Advertised" capacitys are 100 mAh different from their "typical" or idea rating. It seems every flagship is doing this even though Oneplus is still cutting 20mAh extra compared to other manufacturers.

Well, that makes sense I suppose. Ifixit didn't exactly elaborate in the video, and they have a good enough reputation I think many would take what they said at face value. Like I did.
So, I will definitely scold the ifixit people for making such heinous accusations of lying next time I see them. Which is to say: I won't. And don't be a jerk.

Inbound calls from iphone x series users on Verizon are being immediately rejected (when HD Calling/Advanced Calling in enabled). It's a weird bug that they are supposedly working on.
Also, I was wrong about the capacity rating. I should have looked into it further.
