TV Remote Control - Tilt, TyTN II, MDA Vario III General

Hey, after cruising some threads I couldn't really find what I'm looking for. Is there any .cabs for a program that will let me use my tilt as a remote control for a time warner cable box? Either through radio or bluetooth, or even infared? Thanks in advance.
AJ

I used a program with the 8525 that was really good, called NDR Deluxe, however it's one you have to pay for. It doesn't work with the Tilt because the tilt doesn't have a IR port.
I don't think you can get one that will work without an IR port.

The Tilt has no IR, does your cable box have a radio receiver or bluetooth?

id imagine it has a radio receiver. But not sure about the bluetooth. would a bluetooth dongle work for it though? theres usb ports on the back of the device.

The only remote you will be getting is the one I think timewarner is doing with ATT. ( I think) You can program your dvr with it remotely like sprint offers.
I think

Anyone get the Redfly Terminal (Laptop) to work with their Diamond?

So I saw the Redfly device at InterOp in NYC a week or 2 back and it looked sick. Basically, it is a 1-2 lb laptop device that has no CPU,OS, HD, or Memory, but instead uses your Windows Mobile Phone for all those functions. Giving you a large keyboard, LCD, touchpad, and whatever USB peripherals u can hook up to it. It works via USB or bluetooth (charges our phone too off it's battery if u do USB). It's a sick little device.
I saw a demo of it doing remote desktop, excel, and a couple other apps all in better than VGA (800x480) on the 8 inch LCD and fell in love. Last week, they dropped the price down to $200 and I instantly bought it online. http://www.celiocorp.com/
Here's the problem... I asked them if it was compatible with the Sprint Touch Diamond and they said "yes..it's compatible with the Sprint Touch 6.1". So I got it and I tried installing their driver, and it says it isn't compatible. I called them up and got a beta driver and am trying it but I am still unable to get it to work. I have googled it and i see a couple references of people getting it to work, but am still not succesful. Anyone else get it to work?

New drivers for VGA devices now available at http://www.celiocorp.com/install/beta/
is it working?
Has anybody get this thing working?
I can buy one for 120$, but i have to be sure it works with the diamond.
Thanks in advance
Redfly works
If anybody want to know, i tested the Redfly with Dutch stockrom and the beta software from Redfly, and it works.
Opera and touchflo don't work properly, but that is not a problem
I use the iexplorer, and that is working fine.
Greetings

Anyone know the audio path inside?

Are there any schematics that show the DAC and amp inside the G1? I'd like to know how hard it'd be to mod this thing to output a line-out.
i know where to find intel inside

don't worry no one gets grid.
*breathes a sight of relief*
back to the topic at hand....
You can try to find the htc repair manual online. Also, R3nrut tried to find the JTAG points on the phone so you can see if he got anywhere with it, but the diagram is not easily found.

don't know if this is what you are looking for .......
no that's not exactly what I was looking for but thanks anyways. He has showing how to get the audio signal from the usb port to a headphone jack. I'd like to know how the audio signal goes from DAC to the usb-port, and if any internal amplification can me avoided. I'd also like to know if we can get a s/pdif out from the usb...

Kaiser Car Charger on HD2

Hi,
I'm upgrading from a Kaiser to an HD2, and would like to know if I can use successfully my "HTC branded car charger for the Kaiser+Mini to MicroUSB adapter" on the HD2 and have good results.
Thanks for the input.
Yes it will work, I'm doing exactly the same thing.
Hey, thanks.
I assume then this works for every Kaiser charger I have? (Sorry for not asking this as well in the first place)

But not every mini-to-micro USB has the same characteristics in handling.
The motorola SKN 6252 forces the screen to switch from portrait to landscape when plugged in to a car charger.

Which of course is a good thing cause it gives you the option to have either of these two modes!!!
Thanks for the answers.
I personally got a 300W inverter for my car instead and use the 240V mains charger in the car...

It looks like a neat solution for anyone who's been wondering when the Apple TV 2G will be able to boot Linux, seem to have everything that you'd need to a silent, low power media streamer without the trouble of building something using beagleboard or similar...
I have no idea how this works properly without a touchscreen but clearly it does. It should be possible to connect an external mouse or larger touchscreen display to make it easier to control. I'm thinking of getting one and a cheap IR-based 24" touchscreen display for a nice living room media controller.
Wanted to know if anyone has one and if it's possible to root this?
Bump! Anybody get one of these things yet. I'm a Google TV owner and wondering how this thing compares.
i have received it one it comes with android 2.1, upgraded to 2.2 through following forum http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/forum-replies.cfm?t=1679431&p=5 and nice people working on it for rooting and all, it is just another android mobile without gsm / gps in a black box, u can attache bluetooth keyboard mouse which i m using.

Get this remote control!

This little remote controls just about everything on my Android HU. They should have included this remote with my head unit, it's fantastic!
It's about $8 on Ebay or Amazon. It works great with Poweramp and most other applications.
It's a small black 2.4G Air Mouse with a red power button on center top and no keyboard.
Sorry I cant post images or links due to this forums restrictions.
waiting for the link !
