Extended battery - P3400 Acessories

Is there a extended battery which will give more standby and talktime for Gene.
Where can I get one.

You can get one from wizard. They have the same type of battery.

Thats a great news! I was looking for it, since I was looking for a battery which will give me longer backup time as I travel a lot and most of the trains in my country dont have a charging point .

@ramersonw: You are talking which wizard that can be give longer battery backup?

LOLZ!
@techmate : HTC Wizard is a phone buddy, how come you missed it in the forum list. Anyways, no offence.

@Krazy: Yup. HTC wizard is a good phone. What I was wondering is there a auto wizard /software utility to enhance battery life?.

WM6 battery problem

Guess WM6 really has some battery issues... and they are NOT coused by BatteryStatus. I think it has something to do with going to sleep mode, sometimes battery is OK other times its not... Yesturday when i went to sleep i had 90% of battery, after 7 hours it dropped to 35%... Probably some aplications that i installed dont know how to manage the sleep option in this rom, or the rom has some problems with it... its kinnda sad, since i have to charge pda twice a day now
Thinking of going back to 3.3 ...
P.
oh and not coused by batterystatus is couse i didnt have it installed for few days now, just to make sure... but had smatrskey and omapclock set to 240...
battey
I'm using the orwell rom and to my suprise the battery life rocks. I think I got about a 20-30% increase. I don't know why though
WM6 edition ?? where to get that rom ?
Don't have any problems with battery life! Seems to me too that WM6 improved it!

battery life

Hi,
just got my MDA compact IV that I flashed with wildberry v1 ROM (as it was in dutch)...
yesterday evening, battery was at 90%...I barely used it, now after 20h, it's at 20%...
is it a feature of the diamond to have so low battery life? if yes, that's useless...
thanks
You know how to flash but not how to search???

yes...I know how to search, but there is a flood of posts...and so far, I didn't get a definitive answer. But you're right, I shall continue my quest for the right post...thanks for your help.
But in the same time, I was wondering if this (my current battery life) sounds ok or not?
thanks

Anyone own this battery?

I bought an extended battery from ebay a couple of months ago and it had a defect that meant i had to remove and re-insert the battery multiple times to be able to use the full capacity so i have decided to get a new battery. I have spotted this battery: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Extended-2400...sAccessories_PDABatteries&hash=item5adc0e2ee4 on ebay and i was wondering if anyone has this specific battery and if so does it work as intended?
Thanks in advance
I'm quite sure that one has the same problem - after using up fifty percent, you have to remove it, and put out back in.

yes, that's true,I actually bought the official extended battery, and have to remove and reinsert it to use the full capacity, right now im using dutty's rom and don't have to do it though,I think its a software issue instead of an issue with the battery, try flashing dutty's.
Do you mean this rom? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=610634&highlight=Dutty

As I said before, not having that problem on dutty's, although I do have it every time I use android .if I use only winmo,i don't have to take it out, and it only happens when I use builds that don't tell me the right battery percentage

[Q] Very bad battery life

Hi All,
I am using following ROM and Kernal.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2315448
And I am having terrible battery issue, it lasts no more than 6 hours.
Am I using a bad combination?
Please advice
Santosh
I searched the thread you posted for a word 'battery' - it popped 159 results, most of them regarding high battery consumption. Maybe it is time to consider changing a ROM?
Remember that active sync, max brightness, wifi and especially 3G connection are battery drainers. When you don't use them, turn them off.

And if your battery is getting old it might be a good idea to get a new one. Mine died at 2years of age, replaced it with a anker 1800mAh and i had twice the capacity of the old one.

[Q] Terrible Battery Life?

Hi, I have had my HTC One for a good while now, and I have been hopping between roms to try and find my favourite. I have just switched from GPe to InsertCoin. I have been getting what I think is very bad battery life on every rom I've tried (stock, GPe and InsertCoin) that I can't explain. Is this a software issue or is there something else happening here?

Indeed it seems a terrible battery life, but I bet you didn't let the ROM settle. If you continously change ROMs you'll get bad battery life, you should keep the ROM for at least 3-4 battery cycles to get an idea of battery life. Another suggestion I could give you is charge it while turned off, sometimes the phone shows it's full, but actually it isn't. Leave it till the light turns green, turn it on and than another half an hour

Yes I understand what you mean about letting it settle, and I probably should have mentioned that I have had bad battery life while staying on GPe for several months. I saw the same thing I don't understand: Android System using about 80-90% of battery in the battery usage even though I was using the phone and there seemed to be no long wakelocks...

how can you change your battery?
though you can update your firmware to the latest
Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk
Every once in awhile I notice unusually big battery drain. it is almost always one app or another, not very easy to spot, it takes some amount of trial and error. my flow is:
have BBS at the ready, ideally your phone rooted and ensure BBS has root permissions. measure battery consumption at night, during the day for at least several hours. check the culprit app in all tabs, sometimes BBS doesn't seem to get access to all wakes for instance I could only find the trace of the drain source under network usage. usual battery drainers are google location based apps but I've also seen a system file Explorer that would gain access to network too frequently while in background. hibernate or freeze/disable those apps as you see fit, rinse and repeat. regardless of the rom I get in the end approximately 0.3%/hr of batt drain at night, 0.7%/hr during day while phone is in standby. I keep in background llama, accuweather, Tapatalk, mail, Dropbox, textra and a couple system apps. I use greenify to hibernate user and system apps alike. I only turn on location when I do need maps.
hope that helps.
