Just like OS - put CHEEIMH.nbh on card and reboot in bootloader

No need to unlock the radio. After you finish hard SPL, you can flash Radio right away.
Many source said you should format your SD to FAT16, but let's chaimd confirm this.

I just flashed it.
Now I'm flashing the os.
My SD is FAT32 and working fine.

What ROM is this based on?

Always it had to be FAT32 formated and never worked with FAT(16)...

This is based on 2.23.

I flashed the radio file downloaded here .
I still got the Software version: TREO750-2.23-RWE and The Firmware version: 1.54.01.00. (under Settings>About>Phone)
Did I do anything wrong?
After flashing radio, I flashed the OS right away and then HR the device.
It should be 1.54.07.00 ,is'nt it?

I think it's wise to tell people that once they've flashed with Radio version 1.54.x they can't go back
Are there any screenshots from this ROM? I'm wonder what it looks like.

No, I had no trouble with 1.54.00.00.
That means only new version

I'll try it..
when I get home from work. But my radio version is 1.54.27 right now (it came with the TREO750-2.25-ATT software. Can I flash only the operating system?

can you elaborate, please. is it better in phone reception, call clarity, GPS performance, etc????

just installed it. it is suppose to be Arabic enabled
this is how to do it :

it is included in a separate package inside the ROM which man have to install it separately..

installnig the Arabic package
OK, it is just for those who did pay there device in an arabic country. if not the arabizer package will not install . (b.t.w you have to do a hard reset to complete the installation of the arabic package and this really sucks because it takes long time to do! )
BUT there is some how a way to go around it and install this "INCOMPLETE" arabizer (because it dose not have the nice ISP that has ben floating around for some time - just the official windows mobile SIP with those tiny little buttons) :
Take the arabic package to your desktop and unpack it and install 2 of the 3 files there and then take them back to your HD. Those are :
1.Multilingual Support_LocMAX_NoCour_P32_NOI.Cab
2.Customization_LOC_P13.Cab
just install them locally on your device (1 then restart then 2 ) and just ignore the warning that pups up after installing the first one , it will go away after installing the second one. and finally restart and there you go . you have it all in arabic
The ROM it self is the same (i think ) as the old WWE (europ) . didnt test it yet but the Camera at least is as slow as always

If someone could upload this ROM in another location, it would be nice, because I'm french with radio issues and I wanted to try this new radio ROM, but my S/N is not accepted.

Thank you for the new rom bro and also with new radio. I could make a sticky thread for the BlackStone radios and start collecting, but havent tested or flash any seperately. Can we flash the Radio seperately now are these new radios or deifferent

No download is available from that post.
BTW:Google can't translate the post into English correctly coz it's not written in formal Chinese.

No download link it means fake. (doesnt mind if they want to sell it but at least give a word). 1st screenshot doesnt show full Rhodium body & everybody can edit bootloader image screenshot especially the 2nd line

Shiip. It is difficult to get into himalaya with raw COM connection, also my VC# doesn't support so I write it in delphi...

Yeah. Just edited some bmps and text. Nice change though!

UPDATE: Found some errors:
Picture is too big when the himalaya is upgrading.
The screen before that says PocketPC in stead of Himalaya.
Background of picture is not the same as program.
I WILL FIX THESE SOON.

YAHAHANUVOELEGANLC if you downloaded the first link on my skydrive most of the text has been customised to the himalaya, but the second download link the picture while upgrading has changed but the text is same as normal for some reason.

I don`t know if you know but that`s Ooptimus 2X Android Development section not General section. Posting things here is mainly for people that can program and tweak android so they can kick in and help out on the project.

Hmm, has some one tryed to flash this ROM and after that flash latest baseband from v10c?
Since the ROM is ported and US is using a different radio hardware it might work to change baseband after flash?

he is offering he's findings so everybody can help to sove problems, and maby the road to a working rom, i don't understand the negative comments from everybody, give him a brake, he is trying to help, that's what this forum is for in the first place.
