is it the one that auto rotates the horizontal pics and zooms by double tapping....or the old one ??
I haven't tried the old one But from what you wrote it seems to be the new one...All the HTC apps are from Topaz/Rhodium...
Maybe i'm puling the rope too much now but....is it possible to have it in form of a cab just to try it before i go flashing ??

A smaller bug
overall i find this rom is fast and smooth.
a minor bug:
in the messages tab (the one that showing conversation styled sms), i cant send out sms by using the send button there. it said the the phone is disbled, and urge me to turn that on in comm manager.
I am sure that the phone function is on, and i can send sms by other methods.
suggestions:
1. facebook integration: allow birthday, contact photo and event updates throw connection to facebook.

I installed the chinese font, but the contact and pop menu didn't show the chinese words.
This problem happened in itje's past roms, but the problem solved in v4.5.

Have now send 5 sms to me and only 1,2,4 and 5 did a notification. The theird sms arrived but didn´t give any notification. So it´s still a sms problem

this is due to the fact that the pop up menu using a font that doesnt support chinese characters.
change the following registry:
hklm/software/microsoft/fontlink/systemlink
change the entry of "Helvetica Neue OTS" from \windows\tahoma.ttf,Tahoma to a chinese supporting font.
eg. i change it to \windows\msjh.ttf,JhengHei
This should enable chinese characters to be shown in pop up menu.

Description
This ROM is basically identical with my other ROM, but comes with Manila3D and a workaround for landscape mode with Manila. The idea for the workaround originally came from mbarvian here, for QVGA devices running Manila2D. First I simply wanted to adapt this for TF3D and WVGA, but since there are some differences to Manila2D I had to change some other things too - which is a good thing. Because of the changes that were necessary, this version is fully compatible with the X1-Panels and is MUCH faster than the original workaround using rltoday only.
So how does it work?
Mortscript is running in background and checking for the landscape switch. If the screen is rotated, secondtoday is brought forward as the active window (running all the time with rltoday as plugin) and shows the landscape few known from the Touch Pro. When changing back to portrait mode, secondtoday is hidden again. Secondtoday won't show up in the default Taskmanager.

There are several ROM's that use TF3D as well as standalone CABs that would greatly benefit from this.
A question that does come to mind - isn't it possible to run it on top of TF3D instead of actually disabling TF3D?
By the looks of it a separate application is executed. Does it use the skin files as found in the windows folder, from TF3D?
Another thing that I can't really figure out; what is the major difference between this ROM and for instance Itje's touch Experience?
Ofcourse you each add different progs and perhaps some tweaks, but aren't they - in essence - alike?

Well, the main difference at the moment is - as far as I can see - I am using a newer SYS and XIP version than itje is. Of course that might change as he releases new versions.

No, I didn't include any "perdormance fixes" as I'm not convinced it makes any difference and I'm quite happy with the performance.
I did include UC, but didn't set up a config.txt myself to test it. However - I don't see why it shouldn't work.

Alright. As far as performance fixes go; it seems very logical to me that increasing some allocated memory here and there can speed up the device. But Xperiatweak can do that, so that aside. tnyynt's SD TuneUP has been proven useful though, increasing SD read from 2mb to ~18mb per second.
I must say i'm quite excited!!! Quick question though. Does this build include the Touch HD Volume control?
Well, I did include some tweaks which have proven useful, like changing file system cache, filter size and glyph size. SDTune etc. can easily be installed by CAB.

Great, I'll be waiting for the release! After reading into the manila landscape fix a bit, I understand it basically turns off touchflow and then starts a modified touchflow that only shows the landscape menu. Upon going back into portrait mode, the other way around.
It still leaves one question unanswered though, does it use the standard manila blackstone landscape skin? If so, I'm going to include that in the skin I'm making! (already have the skin files)
No, thats not exactly the way it is working.
When switching to landscape, the TouchFlo3D todayplugin is turned off and rltoday is turned on. So, if you want to change the skin, you have to edit the png's of the rltoday skin.

I'm not sure if you have experienced this but when i use the volume control from the touch hd i can't adjust the volume during a call. Like if you are using speaker phone.

Just came across an annoying bug. Don't know why this occurs now, but when switching to landscape mode, the creen is redrawn to portrait. Don't know why this didn't happen before and will figure this out later today. Have ask for your patience on this to hopefully solve this.
Okay guys, looking good. Had to change the way the script works and use secondtoday instead of rltoday alone. One big gain from this workaround is, that manila doesn't need to be reloaded, because it always stays activated. This means, the whole process is nearly as fast as with the original Manila3D on Touch Pro.
Will release the ROM later today. First have to wrap this up properly.

I present to you the Shadowline Series. The roms I make are made to be cutting edge, using the latest in Windows Mobile and HTC with a mix of my own taste in graphics, tweaks, and fixes.
Because the purpose of this rom is to be cutting edge, not everything will always work as intended at all times, and that is where you come in at. I need all of you to test, and report back on what needs fixing, tweaking, or even suggestions for newer versions.
This rom, can not, and will never brick your device, unless you do not read the instructions or do something that you aren't supposed to do.
The latest HardSPL is always recommended as that is what the rom will always be based on.
If I do not implement a feature or a request, It is because it will not work, will break the intended design, or it will be worked in at a future time. But I do encourage feedback on everything as you are the ones using it, you should be the ones that have a say in it.
I personally do not own any version of the Rhodium/Touch Pro 2, so all testing will be done by you. So please do report bugs you may get!

When WiFi is enabled in Comm Manager, and you have already previously connected to a wireless point, your Windows Phone when a Data connection is needed will automatically turn on WiFi, and connect to the nearest preset access point. If no access point is nearby that has been set up, your Windows Phone will automatically turn WiFi off again, and connect to your local Wireless Service 3G or GPRS network. While connected to WiFi using this method, if the connection is no longer needed, or the phone is put into standby it will automatically turn WiFi off to preserve battery.

Shadowline: Did you remove copilot from the ConfigAP file as well while cooking?
I ran into this yesterday as well. I haven't loaded your ROM though, but I guess it's the same issue.
You need to change the file:
<Your Kitchen Dir>/OEM/Rhodium/0409/ConfigAP.txt
And remove the copilot line. Then the ROM will boot up fine.
i cant launch the touch flow 3D so i cant go to the settings... cant stop the error from the task...
i reloaded the rom and will try one more time otherwise i have to remove this from my phone

This looks really promising, ive always wanted a rom with manila 2.5 on a newer windows 6.5.1 build. Ive tried some others before, but they always had some issues that i couldnt get over, im really picky
Just got a quick question for people that have tried this rom:
When rotating the screen in the photos tab of manila, is the bottom bar still stuck to the right side of the screen, ie does the bottom bar stay in portrait mode while manila moves to landscape?
Small irk, i know, but its tiny things like that that bother me, although i know that this has nothing to do with the cooking of the rom, rather than the windows build itself.
I have started downloading it before reading about the copilot bug, i noticed that the file size is >180 MB, which is strange to me, I usaed to dowbload rhodium ROMs in the range of 100-150 MB only. Does it make any difference for you?
I flashed this ROM on my Rhodium (RHOD100). Do a hard-reset. Then it boots. During configuration it shows square window (occupies about 30% of screen and is centered) with "\WINDOWS\copilot.wm6ppc.ca... is not found". This window has no Ok nor Close button. After "ca..." it continues, but display doesn't respond on touch and also on any button excluding the reset one, so I can't scroll the text, go back or to Today screen. It stops on "Tap here to launch HTC Sense" on purple background under error message I've tried to describe. No other action.
After restart it does "first use prepare" again. It never completes this operations and never get to regular Today (Sense) screen.
The screen during first use preparing is very nice! But not enough to be the only use of Rhodium
Ah yes. That would be the problem.

Hi, it still has the copilot error at startup
I do not know if I have the old or the new version,
(I was download/installing just before or after uploading the new version),
but I get the error too.
I have downloaded the copilot.wm6ppc.cab from the internet en placed it on my storage card and I'm trying to copy that to my Windows folder.
I'll keep you informed.

I just downloaded it through the given link (RapidShare), it is so slow, but i use FlashGet to download it.
Finished the download after 40 minutes, it is slow but just be patience rather than nothing at all.
And haven't tried the ROM though, still trying other ROM.

Thanks for the response, the speed-thing is something I'm working on now. I'll release a new version (with this build) as soon as possible.
I'm also working with a new build, 6.5.x, which should be online in a few days.
New version, first and second post updated.
Planning on keeping two versions: 6.5.0 and 6.5.5.

Flashed this ROM today. Good ROM, but still some issues need to be fixed :
don't know it's because of the 4 column program tab on the homescreen, but I cannot slide to other tabs (contacts, messaging,...) - only sliding over the menubar works

I can't review the ROM in depth because I'm about to flash your 6.5.5. ROM.
Just flashed your 6.5.5. ROM. My remarks :
I never installed the 4 column tab on the homescreen, but I find this pretty annoying, since I can't slide to left or right when on the homescreen
Settings in start menu take me to the settings tab. Again, pretty annoying for me, because I can't even disable Sense that way. I would prefer a folder in the start menu, so I can assign hardware buttons, enter my name and address, change the theme, etc.
hardware button 'home" doesn't work - maybe it has something to do with the 4 column program menu?
the help icon in the start menu is the default one when no icon is found
All in all a decent ROM, but the above mentioned issues makes my blackstone less user-friendly (in my opinion), so for now I'm returning to Mike's ROM.
If you don't install those extra tweaks I believe you'll have an excellent ROM!

How could you We allready got mikenificent if we want the buttons to be shown at the bottom.. i just want the standard lay out.. cant you like make a cab.file if you want the original lay out?

For faster scrolling (if this is what you mean of course)
hkeylocalmachine\software\htc\htcscroll\velocityfactor
change from 100000 to 15000
but be careful, changes in registry could wreck your phone!
This is work in progress, not everything is going to work now and it'll still take some time before it's done!
Feel free to test it if you know what you are doing and if you know how to get back to your original ROM.

You know, no testers no development, it's all up to you guys...
...well it has become very silent in the non-touchscreen corner of devices. Wings was not especially popular anyway. Most active forum still is the Excalibur - not much different to the Vox where you had a great success of supplying various builds. They would for sure appreciate a multi-language (including Spanish) ROM - as I think that only WWE ROMs are available.
I try to keep the fire burning in the Typhoon, Hurricane and Tornado areas, but hardly any interest left, sadly...

The wings is still a great phone, best battery and signal i've ever had, the only reason i left it was to migrate to android but would use it again with win 6.5 on it.

Whether you continue this project or not, im just letting you know that "Beta 1" works as it should, been using it as my primary phone for past 4 hours with 2gb sdcard and i've used every function, mp3, wifi, text, calls, games, installed extra apps etc.. and I havent had any issues.

1. I flashed the beta2 rom and it stuck at the "smart mobility" screen on boot.
2. I went into manual bootloader mode and attempted flashing beta2 again with no sucess, same problem as before.
3. Im now back to beta1 again
OK, I'll see what I can do without my backup DVD of my old kitchen files (probably a XIP problem...)!
but when i turn in my phone stucks in black screen (smart mobility) on beta 2 and after 30 min its's turning off please some help me

Beta 2 doesnt work, so go back to beta 1.
Start your phone in bootloader mode by powering on with the camera button pressed, then connect your usb cable and flash the beta 1 rom as normal.
I didn't have time yet for fixing this problem. But next week is wide open
