Taking the plunge and trying this ROM build now... will report back with usability and benchmarks
EDIT: uh.... looks nice, but app compatibility with older WM apps is screwed in this build - SPB benchmark wasn't rendering correctly in places. So either this ROM build is crap or WM 6.5 build 23025 is crap... or both. Anyways raw benchmark figures (sorry too lazy to format ).. pretty much same as what I got with Dutty's R9, nothing special.

have used most of the roms to date and found them to be very good
working without having to load cab after cab
windows 6.5 may be crap but this chap puts a lot of work into his roms and after trying a few others Ill put pdaviet roms at the top of my list to try.
I know Ill not need to read 101 pages of fix this and that to be able to use my phone to make a call.

Just two items so far the Hardware Home Button still not working these two dll's fix that.
Could we please have Footprints included in your next release. This is probably to me the biggest let down for an otherwise well thought out and put together ROM

Can anyone do a quick summary of the new stuff cause I'm quite happy with V55 just got used to the bugs most important maybe is the Volume Up Down key that was working (kind of when you press the sound icon) in V54 and now it doesn't do anything but block the device and soft reset needed after that.

Advise on a cooked rom

Looking for advise on a cooked rom with the following:
1; Fast
2; Touch sensitive. Ultimate touch sensitivity applied
3; winmo 6.5 with the start button the new style (down bottom)
4; English
and preferably without TF3D. I really really really DISLIKE and hate TF3D so a rom without it would be splendid.

You said in your first post you hate TF3D, so your solution is to try a LEO ROM??
Sure you can switch off the TF3D (Settings >> Today >> Items >> Windows Default), but this IS by default a TF3D (HTC Sense) ROM. Use his Xperio version if you want Win Mo 6.5 only.

xperia panels and panel manager does not work well on the builds with the start button on the bottom bar, and my roms are based on the latest 21882 build

i suggest for you to read read read, not being harsh dude, but if you read you will find the link, and you will see the roms are 6.5, i do not see the reason for 6.1 when SEUS gives the best 6.1 rom....i know im a fanboy but if we do get that 6.5 upgrade, unoff production is completely done

i assume its the first link above because i tried the second one already and its not what i want (no start button at bottom)

as i said before, the panel manager and panels, does not work well with those builds
and i told you to read read read, this is how you will know what the roms are and their contents
if you dont read any of the chefs' release notes and rom info, you will find yourself flashing almost every rom and not knowing what you are installing....
the main rule of xda is to read, this way u wont be disappointed

definitely, but it's got manila 2.5, as already mentioned, pure 2.1 build would be x1_***TR.7z
generally: 21*** builds are old ui, 28*** new ui (start bottom left side)
and a general +1 to spikegottis advice

Yes the UC works - but I have quite a few cabs and the process is SLOW or hangs, even with multiple restarts and eventually Hard Resets
I ended up changing the folder name from Cabs to another so that it wouldn't work. Then installed my cabs manually.
The ROM is fast and so far no issues ....

b. Windows Media Player freezes after playing few seconds of music. (needs reset of my device).
c. Easily recognizes my SDcard.

2. ramdisk is big.(screen shot attached) but see no.7
3. always get stuck when connected to my pc after a few minutes.
4. ringtones are missing. resolved ==> just put your new tones to device memory.
5. when open the device info (screen shot attached) it's show rom version: hima 23004, could you explained this??
6. get stuck when open the sound and notification.
7. can't place anything in ramdisk, always erased when reset the device.

Sound and notification works for me, alse my hima doesnt hang in PC mode

the speed is down when installed M2D 1.2 (1913xxxxx).

this is the only rom who has syncronized clock between taskbar clock and the titanium or manila 2d.

Downloaded and installed. Smooth and fast. Here are my findings:
In addition to all that is noted above,
1.The Classic Blue Theme is missing. The leaf image remains.It is the background for Phone also.
2.Video mode not working as in Swampy's ROM.
Will use it for a couple of days and then report.

Is anyone suffering from freezing issue when getting into menus or in loading sms conversations? i m occasionally getting this problem even when even taking a snapshot through camera or getting into media player till i soft reset my device.

Maaaaan, there is no place for net cf 3.5, I included 2.0, so you can install 3.5 without any problems )

can u confirm about freezing issue in the rom because if i am the one only i should reflash it because it get freeze in applications and i have to soft reset.
