Like all the roms I build in the past, all junks will be remove in the beginning for the base/lite rom. And eventually comes w/ a super full rom w/ Chinese support. It may contains lots of software you may not need. Just take the lite rom, OR remove the shortcut and pretend they are not there for the full rom
Removed (panels, some removed apps can be found in the R3A UC sdconfig package in the next post):

How to use my SDConfig package:

1. Extract the zip file to the root of yr micro-SD card and you
should have a directory structure w/ SDConfig.txt under "\Storage card":

a. add back the Xpanel w/ panels apps I want

to use ramdisk as cache and max for 9 tabs instead of 3
d. Copy the license file [U][B](NOT INCLUDED)[/B][/U] for Resco Apps
(Explorer, picture viewer ..etc), Core player, Gamin Mobile

Hi. many thanks for the ROM. i haven't flashed it. I was wondering if u can answer a couple of things regarding the rom that are not clear on the notes.
1) Does it have the new R3A GPS camera?
2) Itjes ROM seems to be suffering an SMS not being received issue. Does such issue exist here?
3) SMS notification seems to randomly occurring. some times no notification sound or vibration comes up when SMS arrive

it has the same problems as itjes with massages (even tho this isn't touchflo)not being unchecked, justed checked it with my girl.
what another rom
keep up the good work mate, really appericate it.....
perfect rom. especially as it comes with microsofts standard wm6.1 task manager instead of htc's.
anyways there are two things to complain about:
1. the custumization that starts after hard resetting seems that it wants to invoke the connection setup. unfortunately focus switches between the connection setup and the customization window so that it is inaccessible. this is more a cosmetic bug as customization process reboots the phone anyways and the conection setup starts again after the reboot.
2. i am not able to install any other dialer than the default one. neither the x1 nor the touch it blackstone one is working.
one additional thing i just recognized is that in contrast to the statement in the first post "beam" is not hidden/removed from settings

INSTALLATION STEPS

BEFORE FLASHING READ the README.TXT FIRST included with the release!
Flash:
- Uncompress the downloaded RAR file to the ROOT of the storage card :
1) Kovsimg.nbh
2) sdconfig.txt
3) V-LITE folder that contains 45 applications as CABs
4) readme.txt
- Make sure you have at least 30% battery left before flashing this ROM
- Bring x1 to boot-loader mode by turning off the x1 completely. Hold the "volume down" button on the right, and hold the power on button until you see the tri-color screen.
- Then follow the on-screen instruction (press Power button to start flashing...)
- Optionally Hard Reset after flashing by pressing the front left and right button (silver buttons) and then press power button.
Once the mobile vibrate release the power button and keep pressing the 2 left and right button (silver buttons) until instructions appear.
Press [R] then Space as per on screen instruction.
- During first boot proceed with Screen Calibration, Region and Password settings.
- Then Customization starts:
UC customization lasts this time longer, once the last app is installed press the OK Button if needed (the last app to be installed is AEButtonPlus so when the AEButtonPlus screen is shown click on "OK" button).
NOTE: BE PATIENT WITH UC CUSTOMIZATION IT TAKES ABOUT 15 MINS
- After powering off and rebooting, let the auto Setup Connection screen appears. Complete the Setup Connection then RESTART
- ENJOY

- SYS : ROM is based on the last XIP 23004 and SYS 23004 with optimization.
- OEM: based on latest RHODIUM OEM 1.19c released by Jerpelea (big thanks), NO MANILLA TOUCHFLO and SE PANELS STUFF, and latest MODULES from SEUS R3A and New Topaz Drivers.
- UC: Opera 9.7b1 included among the 45 cabs will be installed automatically with this release.
ALL cabs are optimized to run with V-LITE roms and they have been reorganized as well SO PLEASE INTALL THIS LATEST UC PACKAGE CABs and NOT a previous version from previous release for better performance.
DEFAULT ORDER OF INSTALLATION OF CABS IS IMPORTANT, YOU CAN REMOVE THE CABS YOU DO NOT NEED by editing SDConfig.txt BUT DO NOT CHANGE THE ORDER OF CABS INSTALLATION.
Note 1: SYS, OEM and ALL UC CABs are heavily tweaked to run faster.
Note 2: BEFORE FLASHING OR HARD RESET if you wish to not install any titanium plug in for example so edit SDConfig.txt and remove all cabs you do NOT wish to pre install after flashing or hard reset.
V-LITE COBALT HARDCORE series is running smoother and faster than any other previous versions I have released and as the edition name suggests this ROM is HARDCORE TUNED oriented (no Manilla Touchflo and no Sony Ericsson Panels since Day 1)

Notes:
- CABS that need a manual confirmation need to between HIDE tags (enable then disable) in the SDConfig.txt file.
- In my example included with the rar file, AEButtonPlus program needs the user to click on OK button to complete the install so this cab needs to be called within HIDE tags
- For the other cabs that do not require manual intervention can be declare withing LOCK tags.
- Do not forget to add RST: Reset at the end of the SDConfig.txt file.

SETTINGS
- Untick "Enable faster data synchronization" for active sync if you are syncing with XP
- Complete the Automatic Connection Setup for 3G network (selection pop up automatically shown) before using any application that requires Data connection
- Run Titanium Weather Update after the Automatic Connection Setup so at next Restarts the Mortscript pop up wont appear again
- Use cHome Editor included with this release to organize your TITANIUM plug ins as you wish. Do not forget to SAVE and click on EXIT (and NOT OK button) for the changes to reflect.
- Use reStart included with this release to organize your START menu icons as you wish.
- Almost all applications released with this rom can be uninstalled from Start>Settings>System>Remove Programs as more than 40 extra apps are pre installed via UC.
- change regional settings to yours (e.g: English (UK)) then restart time should be syncing automatically after restart (if not you can run the SynchroTime application included in this rom under Start Menu>Tools>SynchroTime)
- in fileexplorer, go to menu, then "view options" then select "icon" for a better finger friendly experience.

- For YouTube I notice on some rom you need to do this :
1) open Opera
2) click on any link to go on the web (so your data connection starts)
3) Enjoy YouTube
- Note that in V-LITE TITANIUM roms PANEL button is already assigned to show the START MENU.
- X1 has plenty of storage so do not have a taboo to install all your cabs on device (especially with UC you can install them automatically in one go easily) and use your storage for personal files as movies, pictures, docs, cabs installation files, ...!
- Remember the more you use the more it will be fast as caching is in place...

OEM : battery and volume gtrab SEX1 removed and moved to UC, rom final optimizations and fixes (Active Sync USB,...), Advanced Configuration, USB To PC Mass Storage support, Performance Tweaks, Scroll for all apps is optional (optional cab can be installed, see note below), SYM is fixed (Hardware SYM key), QuickGPS, Rhodium Calculator and Recorder
UC: reorganized, optional themes added under V-LITE/CAB/Optional/Themes/), Favourite Contacts latest version added to Titanium 0.98, PHM Registry removed (redundant with Total Commander), Titanium Weather latest version 3.1, youtube (fixed for wmp mp4), googlemaps with latitude latest version, Pure Black 2 Theme by default, CHome Editor, PHM Registry, Total Commander 2.52, Shazam, Palringo, WebTV 3.71, AEButton Pluas latest version (useful to map the Panel button to start menu)
Note 1: UC customization lasts this time longer, once the last app is installed press the OK Button to complete the installation (the last app to be installed is AE Button Plus so when the AE Button plus screen is shown press 'OK' button)
Note 2: If you do not wish to use the default smooth flick scrolling of WM6.5 (not recommended) and wish to have a finger scrolling for all your programs, you can install via UC this cab: /V-LITE/CAB/Optional/System/FTouchFlo.cab
Note 3: Make sure you have at least 30% battery left before flashing this ROM
Even with all the apps installed (youtube, facebook etc...) you should still have about 330mb free for your own apps and about 128MB of free memory)

This rom I cooked is fast, light (35% memory usage) and without panels and stuff that never worked or used by most users.
Admins will feel free to move this thread to another place if needed or when something has been agreed but not just suggested by you.

hi there, every time my phone turns the backlight off my phone hangs
sometimes black screen that wont turn on , or trippy colours only soft reset will bring it back.
any ideas?

I have released the V-LITE version of the last wm6.5 21501 official rom.
This version is using mostly Rhodium packages, it has the task manager, the battery with percentage display (SEX1), sound volume enhancer(SEX1),...

[*]This is a test a ROM and some bugs will be there as manila 2.5 is not finish yet.
[*]After flashing Rom please hard reset.
[*]Enter Sim Pin if you have it enabled, New HTC Setup wizard requires it and if not enter you will have to restart to continue through the setup process, minor bug until fixed in next version from HTC.
[*]If you use New Contact card and use face book to log in, at first log in, your picture will not show, workaround just click on new contact card and click face book and it will add your picture.
[*]New manila 2.5 has a minor bug with SMS part in which if you receive a new SMS and click to view it will open in manila , you can view SMS but the menu button doesn't work and if you click it you will have to press the end key to exit.
[*]New Manila 2.5 uses internet Explorer as Leo Rom doesn't include Opera, so I will make a cab for it, also not sure if Internet Push will work but you can enable it in Manila and test yourself.
[*]Been using the Rom for over a week and its stable and can be use daily with the minor bugs mentioned above.

This will be my No-Manila/Clean Version of my WM6.5 ROMs after some consideration. I will try and make cabs eventually but some of these cabs are already posted on XDA.
SAFEST WAY TO FLASH YOUR ROM IS THROUGH STORAGE CARD METHOD ALSO WITH USPL:
Copy BLACIMG.NBH into the root dir of your Storage Card.
Be sure to have at least 30% of charge.
Turn off your device by using the Power Button.
Go to Boot loader mode. Push and hold Vol. Down + press Power button.
Be sure that Device is connected to PC first before inputting the Storage card
Input Storage card when you see USB displaying on screen.
Now run USPL.
If all instruction is followed device will start upgrading through Storage Card.
Always ensure that you run USPL before flashing any rom when using USPL method.
ALTERNATIVE WAY OF FLASHING YOUR ROM WITH RUU.exe
Extract Rom download Folder.
Be sure to have at least 50% of charge.
Turn off your device by using the Power Button
Go to Boot loader mode. Push and hold Vol. Down + press Power button.
Connect your device to PC

TESTING THE ROM FOR PERFORMANCE
For users who has issues with the Rom, just try this, I have been using the rom for awhile and havent some of these issues, I will try and collect the bug reports unless someone else ca ndo for me.
Recommendations to trying the Rom.
Flash the rom
Hard reset/clear storage
DO NOT INSTALL ANY 3RD PARTY APPS UNTIL TRYING THE ROM FIRST, This is due to anumber of reasons new files drivers etc.
I dont use 3rd part apps or messed with tweaking ,as my rom is fully tweaked as how i use it daily.
After testing the rom and ur happy, INSTALL ONE APP at a time and use it, soft reset and try the device to see if anything strange or any bug as arise.
do this for other apps until u find ur source of the bug

1 - Error due to forwarded email - If you receive a forwarded email, the attached mail cannot be opened with following error message:
"The attachment is of a file type that could be unsafe. Messaging will not open this attachment"
Other attachments such as doc or jpg open fine. I think it may be a problem with a missing association .
2 - The half bug is that SMS is set to GPRS as default. This is bound to cause problems for a lot of people.
3 - No notification for email in sleep mode until device is awaken.

The following are still bug(s) for Version 23009:
1) World Clock (worked under 3.9xt Manila 2.1) thought R8 Manila 2.1 would work,
2) The Motorola S9 & HS850 BT headsets still connect and work fine except for MSVC and system message that pops up saying that the BT is disconnected.
a) When I push the talk button, it dials the last number instead of activating the MSVC. I have made the REG setting changes that point to voiceCMD.exe. (believe I fixed this)
b) Strangley, the Manila displays a message notification that the BT is disconnect though it still works and for me to put the hand set to my ear.

You don't need it if your screen is already correctly aligned (for me it's always the case). So you can avoid one setup after flashing !

seems to had a strange problem (not really important ) with fexplore when I put it in some place in the 2 first line of the menu (manila menu), it doesn't start.
if i represente menu :

4 5 6
i had the possibility to put fexplore in position 2,3,5 and 6
but it doesn't start in position 2,3 and 5 but start in 6
with an another program (calculator for example) i don't have this problem ...
i'm not sure to be clear

I had this with R6 - its a bad flash. Re-flash and should be fine - and don't forget to do 1 HARD REST after flash.

Those places are in used by manila if you want to replace them with any program must do edit registry key belongs to that tab
1) Don't know what changed with this Manila but HDWall doesn't work (produces some kind of odd white-artifacted wallpaper on all tabs.)
2) There's a problem with backlight after turning on auto device lock. After set period of time it locks and shuts down backlight, and after unlocking (without standby) backlight doesn't come back.
Standby is the only way to get backlight back. Tried regedditing ADLTimeout and auto backlight off but didn't help.

All junks will be remove for the lite rom. And eventually comes w/ a super full rom w/ Chinese support. It may contains lots of software you may not need. Just take the lite rom, OR remove the shortcut and pretend they are not there for the full rom
Some removed apps (MMS, Dialer, Opera, panels ...etc) and lots of useful software are included in the UC SDconfig package below.

Installation
Installation (**UC start automatically in first boot**):
Install HardSPL
Use RUU tools or Micro-SD method written by me
Optional: Download my UC package, extract that to the root on yr SD card (can be the same card for flashing yr X1)
Optional: Rename sdconfig.txt.sample to sdconfig.txt. Review the UC content and sdconfig.txt. And put the SD in yr device in first boot. (Tips to re-run UC after the 1st time)
Convert 2G to 3G video dialer: Install HTC_2G_to_3G_dialer.cab and HTC_3G_Video_Call.cab in the UC package.
Some cabs and extra files you may need.
UC package template w/ arcsoft MMS, removed panels, games, Opera (tweaked to use ramdisk) ...etc. (Please review sdconfig.txt before proceed)
HGPS Switch if you use TMC driver with your GPS software
UC ROM SDConfig.txt Builder. Highly recommend tools for UC process.

There was a person on youtube replied me back. He said Xperia x1 and x2 will be supported Wm7.. and i was like you must be mistaken. WM7 requires higher specs and xperia is gonna be = wm7? does anyone knows if this is true? He even said it's on official SE website and i went there, i couldn't find any. Please reply back if anyone knows about this.

Just to clarify, it's going to be WM6.5.1 (21889) with Manila 2.5 (non landscape, having a hard time to get the landscape version working correctly. But is working on that).
None of X2 will be integrate (except some drivers) since all X2 stuff I see so far are either ugly, buggy, or useless. But of course, you are free to use the package on my rom.
Roms are ready but take me some time to upload and finish up the SDconfig (UC) package. (UC are automatic again in the first boot for all versions).

This ROM Series is now going to be offered in 2 versions, with the default build being the Standard Lost in Asia Look. With all standard icons and no other customizations other than some nice apps.
Then a New version called "Touch of GLASS". With all glass theme icons, clock, manila slider etc. This new theme will be made with new GLASS theme and Icons. See this Thread for more information.

First Let me say, Everyone has different taste. This is why we have so many different ROM's to choose from. Most all of the ROM's here are good and I find it just comes done to personal preference. Some people like black others don't, some like ROM's ready to go out of the box, others don't and want to configure themselves etc etc.
This ROM is made with some changes from the stock ROM. It uses the Latest MS builds and a few customizations. With some of my personal start menu organization. I like a clean start Menu. I have made some tweaks for speed and stability. I find that our HD2 is already plenty fast for any user so there is no need to cut up and gut out our ROM's to gain some small amount of unnoticeable improvement. I also like to give users the choice in how they like to configure there ROM which is why I use Preset Installer. There will be Many programs you can install from Preset Installer instead of having them built in. I have added a few apps, and a few removed. You can load them from cabs found here on XDA or Through Preset Installer. Or let me know and I can provide it for you.

NEW Rom Online
Which ROM is right for me?
Standard: Comes with most all software and apps and is ready to go after flash.
Standard is also a Full version of HTC Sense With all Languages included.
Standard also is good for users who wish to apply themes and or add and remove manila mods etc.
Lite Version: Rom is a light base ROM that can be customized to anyone needs through Preset Installer. This ROM is also faster because all the apps loaded after flash benefit from the Extendir performance increase.
Many of the stock and custom apps have been removed for installation through Preset Installer.
Manila is less than half the size of the ship ROM. More than 3000 files are removed from the windows folder with this version.
Manila is cfc compressed, and all Lang files except WWE are removed.
Manila mods are uninstallable, if you uninstall a manila mod you will have to reinstall manila again from Preset Installer. (Not a big deal only 2 min)

How to install?:
Copy the Extendir folder found in download to the root of your storage card. Flash the ROM as usual, Soft Reset, then go to th Start Menu and select Preset Installer. When Preset Installer comes up you can click next and install the programs or utilities you want by checking the boxes for each program. You can Also choose from one of the Preset Configuration if available for that version. Then Click next and then install. NOTE: A box with a bold check will install automatically to Device, if it has a faded check this means you will be prompted for install location. This is needed for programs that require user intervention like FingerKeyboard Google Mapsetc. Don't let device go to sleep during install!!. Device will reboot after installation. You can remove any of the programs as needed from the Remove programs in System. I have made some new .cab files with shortcuts to my Start Menu folders structure. So if you try to use these cabs on another ROM it likely will not work. Read the install instructions inside the Extendir folder. WARNING do not copy or redistribute any of the cabs found in my Extendir Folder. I name them with LIA to distinguish them as being modified for my ROM. Some of these apps are proprietary and can cause trouble if posted somewhere else.

Ok my friends an supporters. My Blog site is back online finally as I had to change hosting services. All links should now be working. The good thing is I now have unlimited bandwidth and 24/7 support with a guaranteed 99% online time. I will also have a forum if I decide to use it. For right now everything should be back to normal after the transfer but let me know if something is not. I'm very tired from all of this and in need of some sleep. But I have a lot of things to beta test and new version to release so I hope everyone will visit to keep up on the news as it happens, here and on the blog site. Also be sure to use the FAQ and post them there as we can start to build a good reference section.

Hey bobsbbq. Man, JUST got my tmobile HD2 today and yours is the first rom I'm trying. Im eager to check out the extendir function. Havent even had a chance to change my sig. lol! Anyways, I like the look a lot and have one question. To return to say a stock look in manila, we would just uncheck all options for manila customization when going into the preset stuff we want and then in that same menu, we should see an option to reinstall manila? Thanks a lot bob and looking forward to report back more as I get to use the phone.
Only thing I've noticed so far is there is the overlap in the minmize/maximize part of the dialer as has been common in lots of roms. I know theres a fix for it that can be cooked in, but can't remember where. And the lockscreen has the calendar window that stays up all the time, even when there is no appt. Ive attached the files to the post below. Just copy them to windows and windows\lockscreen.

Your Radio is correct. The nbh is not corrupt. Use 7zip program to unzip. I know I need to add this to the instructions. I use a very high level of compression which is not supported by some other programs like winzip rar etc.

Thanks for the fix the modified Lockscreen from Dinik I don't think has this problem.
As for the manila yes you can just uncheck the manila mods if using the regular version. if you are wanting to revert you will uninstall then you will install again without the mods.
Next version will make this possible with Preload as well.
For those of you who are beta testers or private members the first beta of the new versions is online now. It is a TMOUS version 23559 with Extendir 2

Yeah, the Dinik lockscreen doesnt have the problem as the .cpr's have already been modified. Just the original if you choose that option. Thanks for the instructions and I did get manila installed as stock. Overall, the rom is great so far my man. My brother seen it and the performance and wanted the exact same rom too. Two fans in 24 hrs aint bad. lol.

First off I want to say your rom looks amazing from the pictures that i've seen . But im having a problem I cant seem to extract it . It keeps asking me for a password and if i dont put one it leaves out files . Ive used winrar and 7zip to unzip !
what's the password to unzip the files
