how long takes to full charge battery (me for the first time)...I am charging 7 hours, with little usage (phone calls, etc.) and the progress bar is full, but still CHARGING!!!

I am having strange battery issues. When the phone is switched on and charging, it charges very quickly (an hour or so). But it also discharges just as quickly - I talk on the phone for 30 minutes, and battery indicator is already on 3/4th green. Maximum time I can get out of it is 15-16 hours standby, and normal calling.
However, if I switch off the phone and charge, it takes longer to charge it (around 2-2.5 hours), but it also retains the charge longer. Maximum time I can get here is 35 hours standby, again with normal calling.
Also, my indicator is quite weird - when my battery information (in *#*#4636#*#*) says 34%, the indicator still shows 1/2 green.
I had done a "wipe battery stats" only once, when I had upgraded from EPF21B to FRF50. I have since tried CyanogenMod, and updated from nand backup, then went to FRF72 etc., but I have never done "wipe battery stats" at that time. Could this be the cause of my problem?
I realise this may be a battery calibration issue, and I have read many threads, but I am unable to find the authoritative way to re-calibrate my battery. Please help.

Since there's no Acer Liquid mt section for now, I'll post it here
First of all, I got an Acer Liquid mt since 5 days.
The first 3 days everything went fine, since 2 days... there's a "Ghost in the Machine"
Issue 1:
The Liquid mt is swtiched on.
Battery went down to 15% - I plugged in the charger.
After 1,5 hours, the phone shows 100% (under Settings and a separate Taskbar icon, "Batteryminder").
So I took the charger off - and after 1 hour of standby the battery went down to 95%.
After 2-3 minutes of typing - 90%.
So WTF...?!
Issue 2:
So I charged again and after 15 minutes or so the phone shows 100% - again
Then I turned off the phone and charged it in off-mode.
The phone was then fully charged after another 45 minutes!
With this procedure I have normal battery life... that means 5% in around 8 hours (in standby).
Strange thing is, that the phone shows "fully charged" - when it's approximately charged 60% or so...
Does anyone have an idea?!

Don't worry mate this is how Lithium-ion battery's behave and I have an Acer Liquid MT it does this stuff but its not anything to worry about just don't use any battery saving programs their all crap.
I have stopped doing this as i found out that once the phone full charged ( leD green) , the wifi if ON is still conencted and running in full power mode and this seems to drain the battery , while the battery indicator is showing 100%!
when unplugged in the mrning, just a 1 hour or 2 hour use seems to drain the battery to 50% because the the whole night while it was conencted it was being used by the wifi
so now when i had the phone fully charged i just disconnt it and leave it to rest.
In th emorning the phone seems to behave normally and left with juice to last whole day even after 8 hours on sleep standby...
Hi guys i noticed when the battery is charged fully it drops really fast from 100% to 98% within a minute.. (doing nothing exept turning on screen) Then it keeps dropping "fast" to about 75% But then it stablize.. Very weird. Im satisfied with the battery life becouse most of the time i get 4 hrs Screen on time...... Just noticed the fast discharge from 100% +- to 75%
Is this normal?
Also when fully charged 100% it shows 4,25mV... I thought everything above 4,2mV is bad?

Hi. Phone age is 1 year daily usage ~ 2h average.
I noticed the first time today battery draining fast from 100% to 25% from watching 30mins or so twitch 1080p streams.
Then a little browsing got me to 15%.
By little I mean 10 15 min.
Then I saw the percentage drop by one every 2 seconds almost looked like a countdown. Never seen this before.
Phone shut down. Booted to twrp, sat there at 3% for ages.
Phone problem ? Battery sensor problem ? Battery dead ? I need to change it ? I'm disappointed I expected at least 2 years of decent service.
update: i let it charge fully
it shows 78% on lock screen and sais "Charged" .......
What is going on ?
