I have a HTC Diamond2 NLD, but i can`t seem to find the magic 8 ball app. anywhere.
how do you unlock this app.

Bought mine on Expansys (EU version) and it doesn't have the Magic 8 ball app either

Yes it seems to have been stripped out, but it is available. (im guessing from the link above tho I didnt check as I already have found it)

newest version that I know of is the one that comes with the htc cruise! I have that working on the diamond....tomtom v6 retail also works....

there is no version 7 for PPC yet, though its in the works.

indeed. at least tomtom from cruise works. IGO8 doesn't, tho. shmug =/
wait for it to be out on an operator - probably a month, then we'll see roms with TT7 inside them.
I really do hope so, but as far as my knowledge goes, operators *REMOVES* tomtom. they want people to use their GPS system ie; AT&T TeleNAV.

It's not the version on the Cruise CD, mate. it's tomtom 6.032, the latest one. I'm not sure, but I think you can extract the tomtom directories from your cruise to your diamond
I'm running Garmin Mobile XT (latest version) on my Diamond and it's excellent. Very smooth and rich interface
there is a supposed tomtom7(check athena mobile 6 forums). though that is not the true tt7. the real one is under beta. and it also has a different look(not that much different though) than any of the ones out there now.

listen, there is NO TOMTOM7! and it is not in the ROM.
maybe not in your country,but in holland and england it is. tomtom doesnt release any info and isnt gonna sell it as softwarepack because of all the piracy with ver.6
so if you so sure it doesnt excisist thenw why are two official websites talking about it and verifying it

you show me the official TomTom site where it is releasing TomTom7 for PPC and NOT PNA and we will see.
NO TOM TOM 7 WITH DIAMOND ROM
nor is it embedded....

the htc home you're asking about is called manilla. The version that's available for your phone is called manilla 2d. search long and hard and you'll find everything you need to know.

Apologies if I'm in the wrong place (again).. I'm trying to buy a new phone and would love to run an android port on it. I'm currently looking at Sprint - at the HTC Touch Diamond ($199 after rebate etc) or the HTC Touch Pro ($299.. less desirable) the sprint site doesn't mention a querty keypad for the Touch Diamond.. Is it fair to assume the Touch Diamond is not a good candidate for android - or is there a touch screen keyboard now?
I'm really sorry if this post is off topic.. I've been all over the intertubes trying to find a good smartphone that will effectively run an android port (I'm well aware its under heavy development) that will atleast make phone calls (or should be able to soon). If the Touch Diamond won't work - can someone recommend a different phone?

Well seeing as the HTC magic and Hero are both non qwerty it would be safe to assume that there is an on board virtual keyboard.

When cooking into a rom you have to recmod it. Then it will work.

do u still have the cab u installed, if so could u post it.
i get the same cant find camera error on my x1 (which is not on the list of phones) and on my htc touch dual (which is weird as it is one of the listed phones but i have a custom rom.
on the x1 i have the official SE R3 rom. which rom are u using?
i have got ms tag to work on my x1 (using the official uk SE r3 6.1 rom)
i installed the htc touch dual cab from the ms tag website (on the list of phones but htc, then scroll down to touch dual).
Slightly off topic, but Im in the UK and cant remeber seeing these tags anywhere or have I just been walking arround with my eyes closed lol. The app / principle sounds great but will I be able to use it?

i live in the uk and i have not really seen them either but i think next year we will see them, think they are around at the moment but only in a small way.

I used 1.3 version from madaco, still got a problem picture doesn't show on photo tab (i tried every solution that appeared on the board) anyone know how???

i am , at the time being, the only one that released an Omnia 2 HTC Sense ROM... i have it published @ Modaco, but it's a Beta 1, and with lots of issues...
I am currently working on next version, that will be improved... it is pretty 'usable' but far from PERFECT...
As i've just discovered this new XDA section, i will also participate here if there is enough interest (although Omnia2 communtiy @ Modaco is huge at the moment, we'll see how this goes) ..

Hi Omnia 2 master, glad to see you here as well. You are the man to make Sense 2.5 happened on Omnia II
I am currently holding a Xperia X1, very much tempted to upgrade to Omnia II or HD 2. Size wise I8000 fits me best but the memory issue and without Touchflo kind of let me down.
