Its better to use SPL41 for OEM driver 2.32.** especially radio, so that all hardware will run smoothly..
For SPL 1.71.** ( Except radio all oem drivers are from 2.32.** )

I wonder if something can be done about the phonepad, couse it's ugly and difficult to use with finger touch compared to HTC phonepad. Also the incoming call interface was better in HTC. Can u put those in WM 6.5?

Wifi.. its by HTC
If u flash ROM designed for SPLV41 on SPLV30 then ur phone module will not work and may be other hardwares..

There is a clash between HTC phone slider and WM6.5 Lock Screen.. So i removed the HTC Phone slider..
May be u try the attached HTC Dialer Skin..
i prefer the HTC phone slider than the WM6.5 Lock Screen..btw..is it posibble to include default Manilla skin or set it as deault skin for Wm6.1?

I seem to be having trouble selecting wallpaper. The slider is black and not transparent.
Issue # 2 Large white spot in center of start menu. Not the currently selected item.
I have only used it for a minute but my first impression is the New manilla is ok. I think the today or titanium and start menu seem to be less buggy in miri's rom.
EDIT: Sorry another soft reset got rid of the white spot and the wallpaper is now showing correctly. The scroll on the today page still doesn't seem very smooth.

this actually prevents me from installing at all, each time now bb conect says install unsuccessful. WIll have to hard reset because uninstalling your cab doesn't work

In the diamond-2-videos you can see that TouchFlo work greate on wimo 6.5... I can suggest that it is a very hard job... but a full tweaked 6.5-rom with the complete rhodium-stuff (like dutty's xtrem 2.4) would be the best I can suggest at the moment

Miri got TF3D working great in WM6.5.
But you can start out without including TF3D so people have to use Titanium from WM6.5.
Also please remember to include Titanium Weather that can be found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=496758
But really just try to keep it as close to v2.2 as possible.
Same apps from HTC as in v2.2 and so on but with/without TF3D.
Adding a ton of extra applications is bad and will make it slow. People can install all that extra stuff later.
One of the reasons why your v2.2 rom is so popular is because it is fast and light. If you keep doing that with your WM6.5 roms they will be very popular as well

I don't like wm 6.5 because of incompatibility problem. Since wm 2003 all progs work fine till 6.1, but many progs for 6.1 doesnt work on 6.5. Ther are no so much improvements (generally appearence) to refuse the treasury of programs for wm 2003-6.1. i'll wait till 7

well, i dont know about the differences, because it was my first wm65 rom i used, and i am downgrading right now.
1st reason:
file explorer has a problem with my folder "1st install" on the sd-card. when i scroll down to cab files starting with "t", it looses the sd-card. it is gone... soft reset, tried again, same problem... this is not working for me.
2nd reason:
as psy-o-matic, a lot of programs dont work. i can install them, but starting is not possible, such as pocketwit, gpscyclecomputer, etc. and as i got already used to those progs, wm6.1 in the latest version of 14-4-09 is my choice....

The difference from 21500.. is 21210 is a stable official build (from HTC Taichi).

Open the registry path:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\HTC\HTCSENSOR\GSensor\WhiteList]
and just delete whatever you want from the list.. that stops the rotation in the deleted app

yes i see that now. i was at work when i saw this post and couldn't see the pics cause of the crappy firewall they use. it completely block pictures. it's almost impossible shop on ebay because of it. i'm home now and going to download it and give it a try.

There are debates on the whole issue of doing it or not, myth or fact,...
do it anyway, its a couple of seconds extras
Any mirrors? I hate to wait till after work to download it.

I have superb (HTC standard ) working camera here. It will be slow in the viewfinder when you are shooting in a dark situation eg. night or in a dark room. That is the behaviour of these mediocre units we have

nice and stable rom after 1 hour. There is a little slake in ram 55-60%
Jade OverLoaded WM6.5 OS 5.2.21232 OEM 2.32.723.2
Mirror -> 4shared
LEAN CUT ( removed are -> manila2d, tomtom, opera, Htc album, Footprint, Htc Zip,a adobe reader, Youtube)
Kitchen -> SYS OEM ROM folders
You Need HardSPLV41 for this i.e., your Tricolor bootloader screen shows 2.32.olinex
( Switch off jade; press volume down key and power key to go to bootloader )

Thanks for this great rom. However, after I flash the rom and did a hard reset. It is stucked at the customization screen where it say "installing..." forever.
I can't get anywhere even to reflash the rom or anything.
tried the lean cut ver and install fine.
although I was able to install the leancut ver successfully it is pretty much unusable for me. The touch is very inresponsive and slow, I have to press and hold any area in the screen for at lease 1 ~ 2 sec before it realize the pressure. Also phone radio cannot be turned on for some reason . I gave up and now switching back to WM6.1.

From the symptoms you mentioned I think your SPL is Still 1.40.**.
You should switch to SPLV41 ( see the 1st post ). before you install this ROM.
Your Tricolor bootloade should show 2.32.olinex ( Switch off jade; press volume down key and power key to go to bootloader )
