last night i put the phone in charger now i wake up
and the screen went off
i don't know why
just went off no logo no recovery no download mode
no nothing so what's this ?!!
helo again guzzz .....I got myself into another problem ....my htc one is not turning on..it shows red light when I connect to charger but it does not show solid light...I tried all button combinations n light trick also...wht to do..?

Blinking red light, while the phone is in the charger?

You might wanna try another usb cable or another charger. Just in case one of them is broken. I had that a while ago and discovered that it was my cable. Good luck,
I sometimes have the same issue. I wake up in the morning just to find out that my HTC one hasn't charged although the charger is connected and the led is red.
Try this:
Try resetting the charging mode like this:
1. Turn phone OFF
2. Let charge for AT LEAST 10mins even if it doesn't look like it's charging
3. Press and hold POWER + VOL UP + VOL DOWN for AT LEAST 2mins. Anything less will not reset the charge mode.
4. After 2mins release the buttons and the phone should boot as normal.

sry guzzz ....nothing is working ...only red blinking light and after sometime a fade light battery icon comes n light becomes solid but it don't turn on thn......and after sometime blinking start again.....
Actually you phone's battery went down to the lowest level. You need to charge it for more than 4hrs.
When my ph switches off due to low battery and stays off for long time, then when i plugs charger, red led starts blinking for some time. After that it goes solid

I actually have charged it whole night but no luck..........some water has gone inside it and after that it worked for 30 min then battery goes to 0% n it shuted down...........

So, do 1 thing. Take a transparent plastic box and pour rice in it and put ur phone in that box in that way so that your phone is covered by rice from all sides. Close the box from the top tightly.
Stay the phone in it for overnight. Next morning, take out your phone and plug the charger and check.
Actually, i read on gsmarena that water damaged phone can easily restore with the help of rice because rice soaks the water from phone.

Here's how I fixed my phone with the same issue after I left mine outside in the rain. I tried this:
1. Turn phone OFF

No luck here. So finally I did this.
1. Took back cover off very carefully.
2. Unscrew battery screws from motherboard. There's only 2
3.. cleaned all connectors from battery.
4. Screwed it back together.
Now my battery charges correctly.
Recalibrated battery. So far all is good.

Hy guys.
So recently i bought a used htc one and it ran stock 4.4.2..My battery drained and i could not get it to start.When i put it to charge i got a flashing red and a battery with bolt inside it.So i replaced the battery and now phone charges,i get battery filling up screen when i connect it to charger.But the phone still won't boot!!!I can't access bootloader or recovery.My pc recognises it as Unknown device.I don't think it's hardware issue because the screen is working just fine and it is charging.I have also tried all of those tricks like holding the power + volume down,holding the phone under bright light etc.Thanks in advance!

Mine just did this. My battery died all at once was at 93% then bam wouldnt turn on.
I could plug in hold download mode andnit would flash note 5 screen for split second.
If ure in u.s. try a battery from ebay. 4.99 usd. And only took 4 days. And shes alive again
Thanks man will give it a shot - it's just odd how the screen went blank with not even any sort of sound , haptic feedback - rather just the notification light blinking. Will update after a battery swap. I already have the phone pried open.
Hey guys, two days ago I found my htc picking up dust and decided to buy a battery and a screen replacement, that means the whole front with screen and digitizer, the battery works fine(creation date was from this year!)but found out that the new screen was with the led broken. So I went back with the old one which still works, suddenly after screwing every screw, I connected to charge and the screen didn't turn on, the notification light was the red charging status. Weird. After that I tried to turn on the phone, I received the vibration but not the screen welcome, didn't turn on, tried to turn off and saw both bottom buttons flash repeatedly. And that it's. What could it be?
