Amazin Bluetooth Headset.
I dont know if i am replying to this thread too late, but here it is anyways. I was looking for a bluetooth headset myself and me being a "fan of sound" look for as much quality for the price as possible. After a lotta work this is wat i decided on.
Kensington Bluetooth Stereo Headphones with Microphone.
This device does not have the really irritating bluetooth hiss thats prevalant in other headphones.
I liked it and hope this is wat you are looking for.

Actually I wouldn't recommend either, Nokia or Sony Ericsson.
If you are an audiophile, and want dedicated headphones/earphones that mean business look at Sennheiser. Now that good stuff. The MM100 is what I am looking at buying but am not able to find a retailer here in Bangalore .

Motolora HT 820 is ok!

Hi Dp... I got the BT8010 works very well, however all sound is redirected to the jabra. So when the phone rings, that is also redirected, so some times it is a bit frustrating, I have the dopod u1000, do you have the same problem? or have you found a way round this?
I have been using the HTC S100 ( a rebadged iTech Clip R35) with it and it seems to work like all the others. Every time you turn it on or come back into range you have to set it as handsfree again. but then windows mobile has been doing that for years and I am used to it.
One thing i did notice however, is that my ameo rings through the speakers even when bluetooth is connected to the headset.... I expected everything to be re-directed through the headset, but not this time!
Has anyone tested the LG style-i with the Ameo yet?
This phone is maybe a second choice:

Mine should arrive in a few days, I'll let you know the results as soon as it does.
Hi
I have been using the LGi style for couple of days , and its great. Works really well with my ameo. The only thing it doesn't do is print the caller ID it does tell you the caller numbner though.
I have microsoft voice command on the ameo, and that works really well with the LG i style, all the voice commands are routhed to the LG I.
Glad to hear it. Looking forward to yet another new toy arriving
Thx!
I doubt between a normal ear-headset, like a nokia BH800, or a LG.
How does the LG work with pairing. Can you easily answer the phone when the LG is in standby modus?

Bluetooth stereo headsets

Hi all,
I am just about to receive my new HD2, and have been looking around for a bluetooth stereo headset adapter to use when I am on the move. I currently have an old i.Tech Clip D-Radio [damn, no links allowed for noobs, so you'll have to google it if you are not familiar ] but have found that after a good 6 months worth of heavy use, the build quality is starting to let the device down.
Couple of reasons I like this one is the OLED with caller display (only shows the phone number, not contact name though), it has a 3.5 mm jack, so I can use my own headphones, and a usb charger (so I can hook it straigh up to the pc, and I only have to carry a small cable.
So I am going to get a new one, and wondered if anyone out had any advice/ experience with any devices with the HD2 specifically. There are 2 I am currently interested in, but at the moment neither are available anywhere as far as my googling has found anyway:

Found this today
Looking at the Sony's myself. I don't know when they will be out but I saw this link posted today: http://www.mobilefun.co.uk/sony-ericsson-mw600-p22693.htm?referer=AFF_MOBILES-PROD-P-22693
Looks promising that they will be released in a few weeks. Fits with what everyone else is saying. Coming from the HBH-DS980 I have high hopes. I went through three pair I like them so much. Also break and lose them so much.

I have this one and it's crap, battery life is ok but the sound quality is bad. There are a lot of background noises and clicks hearable on lower volumes. On higher volumes it's less hearable but still there.
I have been using the Sony Ericsson HBH DS220 with v moda vibe headphones and the sound is amazing. My only gripe is that the DS220 will drop the audio functionality after disconnecting from a phone call. I have to delete the bluetooth connection and re-pair the headset after every phone call. Not ideal but I have to live with it until a solution is found.

I've got the Motorola S305 and they are great. Good sound, lightweight, double as a handfree headset as well as doing A2DP stereo. Plus they are relatively cheap.
Sony Ericsson HBH-IS800
Motorola HT820 here.
Not using them much anymore, I got tired of A2DP's low quality and noticeable recompression. Got good Sennheiser wired phones now.

It can't be called pretty wireless, it still has lots of wires though
and also.. you can't expect good quality of wireless headset for only 12 pounds.
I've been using Jabra BT3030 for a few weeks now, and so far the results are good. The audio quality is pretty decent for a device like this and i've heard static/noise only when near very powerful electrical sources. Call quality is also good, i've been told that the other party hears me well even though the HF is under my coat. Media controls are useful only in WMP.

These are te best sounding bluetooth headset, but only problem is they dont like too much sweat. I am on my 4th pair now (all changed in warranty) because the buttons stop responding if sweat gets inside.
So if you are not running in them (i do 10k 3 times a week) these will be excellent choice

I use the Etymotic Research HF2+ Headset and they are amazing! Balanced sound without all the extra bass. Audio Booster is used to its full potential with a great set of noise-isolating headset such as this.
I have a set of Westone UM3X - sweet perfection - but am looking for a mic/vol/voicecmd button type adapter. Any ideas? Someone mentioned on this thread the HD2 has the same pin out as the iphone so those should work?

What will you be doing with these headphones? I know I had some motorola ROKR BT Headphones and when I went running they would cut out. So just a thing to be careful about if you decide to get those BT Headphones.
I've also been looking for a good headset for this phone. The wired headset I got with the phone hurts horribly when used for more than a few seconds. I'm hoping I can find something either wired or bluetooth that will have the play/pause, next track and previous track capabilities with this phone.
I'm not willing to just make my own headset simply because I have a terrible tendency to burn myself constantly each and every time I solder something.
Simply put, is there a commercially available headset (wired or bluetooth) that is able to supply similar functionality (that people can confirm) to the one included with the phone?

I use these while I'm om my chopper and they will stay in place up to 80mph easy. However... No volume, No song skip, It does have song pause, phone answer, phone dial last number called, and phone hang-up. Microphone sound quality is very good as well. Highly recommend at $39.99 and free shipping.

good quality headset for defy

hi guys... sorry for making another topic.... seriously i m screwed up... i decided to buy sound magic mp 21 but i couldnt find any online stores in india...
so i decided to leave it .... please find any other good quality headset(with mic)....
budget ~ 1k INR
I'd recommend you to head over to head-fi.org and check there for headphones for iPod/iPhone. People around here say that they work on Defy too.
Maybe after you find a model, you can go check it in a showroom or order it from an online shop to which you can easily return them.
Cheers!

u don't need it to wear it like that. they are not built for that. if you want, then try the m6p.
i tried it now and the phones are uncomfortable, and the mic is to close to the ear. the m9p should be use cable down. eod.
there are enough reviews on the net, and everyone is exact.
for example: http://www.head-fi.org/t/474164/meelectronics-m9p-extended-impressions-pseudo-review-56k-warning
use hs u350 headphone set from htc
this is 2 piece handsfree, use the microphone cable and any earphone u like, it wrks fine. i already posted this in the accessory section, costed me 10 pounds, worth it
"http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1381672"
i just got m9p... quality is just ok(not bad/not very good)
the best feature is mic is near to mouth.... u will not need to keep the mic to ur mouth with ur hand to speak to others in any situations....
I highly recommend the beats by Dr Dre

I guess you're the one that doesn't understand.
I was talking about the controls, they won't work (beside volume), that's why I referred to Bluetooth devices. When you have a Bluetooth device all the controls will work as supposed.
Ask yourself why they wouldn't work on the Sony? Never heard of a pair of headphones not working on a specific device, they would only cut their own fingers....
Guess you don't really need help.

Rock it sounds R50 are the best bang for buck you are going to get at that price point, they are a little bit higher (120$) but well worth the price.http://rockitsounds.com/shop/product/?prod_id=16

I am not concerned about controls. Only want to know would they be compatible.
I tried my old Xperia Arc Headphones with Z and error was showing not compatible. I recall reading somewhere that this is due to polarity/charge.
op..also check out the soundMAGIC E10m.. About half the price of the s4aii but from reviews sounds alot better
It has also won awards from what!hifi

still loving my RHA 450i affordable and superb sound, although the volume buttons don't work as they are designed for those stupid fruitphones.
Mic is very good, and the button controls poweramp perfectly well,
Come with a 3 year warranty, and have survived a night outside in the pouring rain when I dropped them on my driveway
I have these in-ears and the sound really nice, and are very cheap..and when i say good sound..believe me it is, and for the price you could try.
