Video Call Menu - XPERIA X1 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I'm Using R2AA0010 Firmware
Last Thing I Remember Before Upgrading To R2A ROM From R1A The Video Call Menu Can Be Accessed Through Call Button, Select Contact, Option Make Video Call (Or Such Thing) (Based On X1 Manual Book on How To Make A Video Call). After Upgraded, I Can't Access The Video Call Button Anymore. The Only Way I Can Make A Video Call Is ... Call Button, Make Voice Call Then End Call --- There's Call Status Screen Appeared (Few Second Then Back To Today Screen If No Buttons Pressed), The Layout Of This Call Status Is: Big Call/End Button on Bottom and There's 6 Menus On The Top,Which Is: Speaker Phone (During Call) / Call History, Mute Mic., "VIDEO CALL", The Second Line Is: Notes, Phone Book, Dialer.
The Only Way To Make Video Call Is Using That Method I Mentioned Above.
Is There's Something Wrong?. Or It's The Only Way To Accessed / Make Video Call On R2AA0010?. I Can't Make A Video Call Just Like The X1 Manual Book Guide ...
Please Help!

Does Anybody Have Solution For This?
It Was Bothering Me!

Problems: Calling most recent number & voice command

Does anyone know of a fix yet for the Windows Mobile 6 (crossbow) for calling the most recent number. Before, when pressing the call button twice, it would call the number you previously called without having to manually scroll through the call history.
Also, I noticed with the underground rom, that pressing the button on the bluetooth headset no longer activates voice command. Any fix for this? I went through some threads but the fixes that i found there were to redirect ALL audio to the headset (not something i care for). Thanks!
Calling the most recent number works, you must not be using the default WM6 dialer. Mine displays calls history and contacts in the center of the screen with the last call selected, so if I push the green button twice, it will call.
As for the voice command, read through this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=295967&highlight=voice+dialing
As far as I know, it doesn't redirect all audio. The second set of directions that includes
"HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Bluetooth\AudioGateway\BTA GExtModule = "OEMAGW.dll" (string)"
redirects notifications.
It is using Windows Dialer. But the thing is, the scroll history is not organized in the most recently called, instead it is organized in alphabetical order. So instead of calling the number I most recently called, it calls the person on the top of the alphabetical list of my recently called list.
Weird. Mine has the most recent callers at top, and then an alphabetical list under that. So pressing the green dial button twice (or hitting my BT headset button twice) will call the last number each time. I'm on WM6 MBE.

Phone bug

Hi,
I'm experiencing some problem with phone module.
Problem is as the follow:
When I push the green buttuon (on the left side) no dial pad appears
When I push phone icon on start menu no dial pad appears
when I push on phone icon of phonealarm, list of missed call appears
I can receive phone call and I can perform phone call from contact list or from missed call list but I do not have any dialpad menu (i.e. no speakerphone activable etc).
I've tryed with various dialpad but the problem persist is not a problem of dialpad.
I use WM5 original ROM with GPS active.
Is it possible to re install phone module?
Could some one post the cab
As you may understand this bug is very frustrating, I have a wonderful device but it is not able to do the basic function required to a phone: dial a number and start a conversation
thank you very much for your help

Incoming Call popup behind the bottom bar

Sometimes I get Incoming Call popup (the one with the caller picture) behind the bottom bar, just like it can't get focus from the OS. Soft reset resolves the issue but are there any ideas why is that happening?
I'm having exactly the same issue. I use native HTC 6.1 ROM.
So now we know it doesn't depend on the ROM since I am using native 6.0
Incoming Call not showing all info
Same problem here: Incoming Call not showing all info. But without solution.
I've had it quite a bit as well. I started using S2U2 for my full screen incoming call manager and it works great.

Reject call with text message, not auto?

Hi!
I'm kinda new here so bare with me...
i've searched without any luck to finding the answer to my question...
When someone calls me, the diamond gives me the choice to reject the call and texting the caller with a predefined message...the problem is that i have to actually send the damn message after haning up...wich kinda takes the whole idea away of having the phone doing it...
Now, is there anyway i can make the damn sms get sent without me having to actually click the send button?? just reject the call and let the phone do the job?
Come on, somebody has got to have had the same issue?
Go to Settings.. Phone... Advanced (right at the right hand end) then de-select "Reject call with text message"
i think you misunderstood me, i donĀ“t want to turn off the feature, just make it do the whole procedure and not stop right before the message gets sent.
Uncheck the option to edit the text message, on the advance tab.
Well nobody is understanding what he is saying.
This is a good idea, infact i also wanted to do the same thing.
What we want is that as soon as we reject the call with send text button phone should directly send the message to the caller (with predefined text) without opening the predefined compose messsage and then we click send again to let the sms shoot to the caller.
I think this feature wont be possible with soft reject or hard reject key coz then it will send sms to each and every caller or even to landline caller. There should be other soft key just like "Send Text" soft key where we press it and automatically phone sends the sms to the caller.
Hope i am able to explain.
Regards,
Vishal

Question Change default name of call recorder files

Hi gyus,
is there a solution to this? The built-in call recorder on Samsung Galaxy S23 saves the files with a "Call recording_" prefix. This makes it completely unuseable in portrait mode as all you can see on the screen is a list that reads "Call recording .... Timestamp", for example:
Call recording.....123757.m4a
Call recording.....133757.m4a
Call recording.....143757.m4a
Call recording.....153757.m4a
The actually important information like name and number of the call partner is not visibile due to the lack of space. You have to rotate the screen every time in order to see a more meaningfull list. The same feature is solved much better in Huawei phones where the file name starts with the name of your call partner and then always continues with the phone number, date and timestamp.
So is there anything that I can do about it to at least get rid of the "Call recording_" filename prefix?
Thanks in advance!
Same here.....
