Can anyone release Kithean for TP2??? (base on BEPE i think is better) - Touch Pro2, Tilt 2 Windows Mobile ROM Development

Hi can anyone release a kitchen for cooking for TP2??
and if we can to choose i prefer BEPE kitchen
thanks
ps. if you think is not good thread.. close it

Download what platform you want...bepe...visual kitchen...whatever. Download what ROM you want to mod, dump it and kitchen made
If you need to edit any config file so kitchen knows it is making it for Rhodium just copy the settings for Raphael but replace the obvious stuff like RAPH**** to RHOD****

Yea, you can make it yourself.
It's not like people are working for you, no one is paid to do this.
But if you wait, then maybe a kitchen will be released. I saw an Everius's Visual Kitchen released today.

Kovsky Kitchen

This the WM6.1 Xperia ROM Kitchen by originally developed by jcespi2005 and jugglerlkr. I have adapted it to work with the Xperia! Please search XDA for the full tutorial which is pretty much the same for other phones.
http://rapidshare.com/files/166098346/KovskyKitchen.rar.html
Can someone please upload this to a premium or FTP account please? This link has a 10 download limit.
Note: XP SP2 or Vista with MS .NET Framework required to use it.
Remember to backup your phone and use HardSPL before you flash ANY rom!!
Download the BaseRom you wish to use here on XDA and extract your RUU_signed.nbh. Download the kitchen and read the included instructions to install and start cooking!
Unrar Kovsky kitchen to the root of c: so you have c:\kovskykitchen
The Kovsky ROM Kitchen has been created using the tools and knowledge of many people (not limited to those who are mentioned below)

I started this thread because I could not see one for an Xperia rom kitchen.
I have modified a Raphael Kitchen so it will cook X1 roms. Is anyone interested? If so, I think I will have to get someone's permission to release it.
Any ideas / does anyone want the kitchen?

Yeah, I'd be interested in learning how to cook ROMS. How hard is it to learn how to do it? I've been a developer for many years so have a good level of technical skill.
Cheers

Isn't that the same? At least that one worked for me

Pretty much the same except I have removed everything that is Raphael and replaced with X1. There is also some config updates in Dark Simpson's tool so it signs the rom properly.

Cheers itje, I will release it this weekend with credits. Everyone else, standby - just need to test it a bit more.
Anyone hoping to use the kitchen should look for the tutorials for using it as there is no point in me writing another one when there are already plenty of good ones at XDA.

how do we change the pagepool size and rom date?
thanks in advance.
required to use HardSPL prior per any uprom or up radio ?
Hi,
Please could someone do a guide/tutorial for this kitchen.
I am aware that there is a guide for the Kaiser, but is this really the same?
It would be nice if there was a step by step and 'what you need' list so that people can start dumping/cooking roms for themselves.
If there already is a guide/tutorial then I apologise, could someone please link?
Thanks,
Phil Rich

I agree, since there aren't many cooked rom's available at the moment for the X1
I'm having a huge problem with this kitchen.. well all kitchens. IMGFSFROMDUMP keeps crashing. All i do is extract a stock rom and it fails everytime. Can someone point me in the right direction?
Question
Is there any other mirror for this kitchen? The current mirror keeps failing me at 10%.
I'm not sure why though.
is it possible to re-up the ZIP please? because it is offline... thanks in advance!!
File isn't available anymore. Any other links?
someone please upload kovskykitchen.zip i wanted to backup my rom...

[help] What means kitchen and ROM?

I'm really new to this and everywhere it says: ROMs and Kitchen and also ROM Kitchen and I can never find what a kitchen really is. If search Kitchen I find all these kitchen files which people created, but is it something where you flash your mobile with? Like my Xperia I flashed from version 1 to version 2 (RCAA2 or something).
But I don't know all these terms and maybe they are so easy that if you don't know it you can't find it anywhere. For example when I want to download WinMO 6.5 it says: Kitchen and ROM, but I don't know the difference and just wanted to flash my mobile (which is rather easy i thought)
So can someone tell me the difference?
in the kitchen developers cook the rom's
a rom is the program you flash to your phone to update it
http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=HTC_Kovsky&redirectfrom=HTC_Venus
a rom is more a image that you flash to your device than a program
kitchen is the programm you need to cook a rom...
to cook a rom mean to create your own image for your device
Ah I see, thanks for the answers. I just updated mine to WM 6.5 looks good, but as my endless GPRS is starting in may I know still want to use NoData, which is not working, so i'm going back to generic.
Thanks for the answers I know have more of an idea of the meanings

Kitchen RHODIUM 21839 6.5 HTC Test ROM

Hello,
I create a totally OEM Kitchen based on the latest Visual Kitchen.
Inside you will find a kitchen ready to go for you with 21839 RHODIUM 6.5 Official Test ROM.
There are plenty of how to guides on the net so please look around before you start asking questions.
I only put this together cause it was a by product of me redoing my own Kitchen and thought it would be good for someone who is just learning.
Thanks!
Upload will be done in 15 mintes from 19:15
Download Kitchen RHODIUM 21839 6.5 HTC Test ROM
PS. Dont complain you have to click 2 times to begin download. You are getting a dedicated server with no nasty pop ups or wait period.
Very, very nice, I will try it out and let you know if I find any bugs!
It would be great if u could upload the best xip!!! the 23016 and 23017 for the kitchen! and maybe the sys to go with it? just as an addon for original kitchen

It is not just an add on...you have to manually place the SYS folders into the right file structure. And then port the XIP.
This is a good kitchen for someone who is learning and provides a good base.
End user can do the porting and manually transfer SYS folder. You know that saying...Teach a man to fish...
If I had the time I would do it but I don't...
Prefered users of my ROM and my V1 Kitchen when it becomes available will have the latest already setup for them

Sorry but I can't, how do I instal?
Just out of my curiosity what tweaks did you do to the SYS, xip etc? since you are sharing your kitchen I thought you might want to share that aswell, maybe helpfull for the chefs (or wannabee chefs) out here
@ EpiphanyNL
hehe, sure, but i dont remember everything..i have create this kitchen not in one day..
but i modified the xip removing some dll's (what ervius kitchen doenst do) --> see mr. makk's tutorials (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=564130), and some other tweaks
the sys i have recmoduled some modules, changed some folders (original bluetooth folder, original wm folder) and removed some files that we doesnt must have..
greets blackdragon
Haha I understand, cooking isnt something that can be done in one day. It takes time to read, to learn, to test stuff.
It's pretty hard to find how things are done when you just start out cooking.
yes thats true..but this is not my first rom / kitchen...
i must make a break, but i have cooked some roms for niki, blackstone, tornado etc.
I know, I have seen your name come along here before but I was more pointing this out for our new chefs.
Perhaps I have this all wrong...just left everything green on your Kitchen and created the rom, flashed the device...
No Manila
No activesync, when you try to open activesync on the device it says not a valid software or similar...
Perhaps I have done something wrong
@ thuduk
i think you have do something wrong yes
try to choose again the version on the top (the 2056) and then the kitchen must load everything and then it must work.
i have cooked my rom with this kitchen.
but when somebody else have the same problem, please report!
I have opened the kitchen
Selected Tools\Romsaved\bdsv61.erv
everything is green
Create ROM
is that wrong, still no manila, most applications cant be found...
i am cooking again on a other pc.. i tell you if it works..
sorry THUDUK, but by me everything works great...
i have windows 7 and testet 32 and 64 bit!
snap .... will try again
Hello
I have downloaded this kitchen but my antivirus warned me about a trojan/malaware in the zip.file. Is my antivirus just overly cautious?
Also, if there is no trojan in this package and is safe to use can you send me the link to instructions how to use this kitchen?
Thank you in advance...
Wowww welcome a new ROM windows mobile 6.1!!!!
Is possible see screenshot??
Thanks!!

VK kitchen
hi doomboyu
one of the problems is the "imgfs_raw_data.bin" we need to find a way to convert it to "OS.NB.Payload" this will not be easy, and also the Hima XIP start address is not supported by "platformrebuilder" or "implantxip" it's nice to be able to use VK layout and the ease of makeing packages i'v been trying to use it on 6.1 builds but it's not working for 6.1 build's
But it did work on BlueAngel 6.5 builds
regards

Swampy
thanks for replying me. i want to ask you which kitchen you use for cooking 6.5.3 builds for himalaya and do you intend to post tutorial for noobs like me
osKichen should work. I didn't dumped my rom in ervius, I built it manually (yea hard manual work).
Xip porting is ON THE WAY )
As blueangel history have been written some time ago, as we are writing Himalaya history right now, right here.
