Here is a wm7-inspired theme I have been working on. It comes in Blue and Black, and ONLY SUPPORTS QVGA.
The preview only shows black (blue is blue where this preview is black - except for the keyboard.. this is the same in both versions)

To set this up properly, go into options of rltoday (hold down on the today until options pops up) then go into the "Apps" tab.
....make sure your first FOUR applications correspond to:

units="f"
YOU MUST EDIT THE skin-tab2.xml located in the rltoday-->wm7-->mscr folder to change the line:

wm7-inspired Dialer to match PCM Contact theme
here is a dialer I made to match the PocketCM Contact Dialer
looks like this:
***DIALER INSTRUCTIONS***
.....Attached is a .zip.

Good morning,
nice to see another good skin coming.
I tried your Pidgin Manila-styled Theme on my Diamond, which did not work because VGA iso QVGA (?). But now I hope you'll be able to upload this PocketCM theme.
Can I use it on my Diamond with pcm 25c?
Thanx allready

nope.. this is made for QVGA screens only
I was in contact with a fellow that has a diamond (huey), over on PocketCM and here, and we are looking in to making VGA versions of some of my themes. His device is in for repair now, but once it is fixed you should see some VGA coming your way!
hopefully it doesnt take too long!

I'll just keep checking in so once in a while. I like your style.
Great themes and the dialer also very nice
I'm digging the style. Good work.
WOW...Great Skin...
Great work
superb work.. I installed this on my touch and it rocks.. Thanks for such a lovely work..One thought, when moving between tabs, it takes time and refreshing of the mage is also very slow.. Can something be done to speed it up...
WOW!!!! im speechless, Loving this style A+
did i miss the pcmkeyboard and image viewer skin??? i dont see it for D/L
*edit* never mind, i found it
but the image viewer theme looks the same though

i wish, this seems to be a limitation with the program itself (I would love to see rltoday updated with tab support, transitions etc.)
But rltoday doesnt have tab support, so this theme actually uses mortscript to change between different skin setups.. too bad rltoday doesnt seem like its gonna be updated any time soon :/

thanks man.
by looks the same, do you mean as the standard theme that comes with ImageViewer?
The only thing I changed was:
...moved the favorite icon
...changed the headers
...allowed more room for viewing images
...customized dropdown menu
...removed scrollbar
...changed pressed button
...changed font size, location and type
I did not touch the header buttons because I thought they looked good.
Are you not seeing my changes?
if you cant, you may have loaded PCMImageViewer once before using my theme. In that case, you will have to go into the folder where the .exe is, and there is a usersetting file or something like that, you have to delete that.
hope that helps

Amazing work, htctoucher
one of the best graphic designs i have ever seen (excluding some wisbar designs ...)
Is there a Keyboard skin that matches the blue theme or is it just the black keyboard? I downloaded the blue-theme PocketCM file and followed the directions, but the skin for the keyboard looks black. Is that correct or am I doing something wrong?
I think im retarded, im stuck on the RLToday thingon changing it and stuff...Help!

have rltoday activated on your today screen (windows mobile options-->today-->today items-->check rltoday)
hold down on rltoday on your homescreen and a popup with "options" will come up. Go into options
here you will select the skin in a dropdown "wm7"
then go into apps and follow the instructions which should take you through it
when you are creating apps, to get the icons to show, you have to define custom icons to the ones that are in the wm7 folder on your device
hope that helps
(to quote use the little quotation icon on the posting toolbar where the font styles etc are (haha))

@ HTCTOUCHER
It says mortscript cannot be opened. even after three installs...am i installing the wrong 1 or what? i installed the ppc cab..hey thnks for the help btw
Awesome work @ htctoucher !!!
I like this rlToday Theme a lot.
I worked self on an WM7 Theme for it (base was your older version from forum), but this is very...very...did i say it ? very great
Is it possible for you to make a "white" touched WM 7 ? White background with black letters a.s.o. ?
I worked on an script for me, that changes the theme on any time you want, ex. on evening darker, on daylight much lighter theme..
Best regards !
another question...is there a way i can change the sms app, i dnt use the 1 that is predestined...i installed something else
alright guys!
seriously.. last update
This is an add on to the last thread
(the last thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=2453449#post2453449) didnt have space in first two posts)
here are improvements:
...changed rltoday (I felt the blue was too blue and the black was too black, so here is a medium!)
...added new weather icons for rltoday to match weatherpanel
.................also, used dcinobar.cab, it hides the softkeys better, so now rltoday goes all the way to the bottom of the screen!
new s2p skin to match ImageViewer skin
forgot to mention..NEW! Mortplayer skin (edited q_vista skin - takes a looong time to do all those little buttons).. plus alarm screen!
...added weatherpanel skin (edited an iphone theme I found (credit for the great iphone layout goes to buzzard808).. very nice layout)
...changed s2u2 skin to support fullscreen contact images
...added HTC TOUCH CUBE (original.. not slither) skin.. custom animation (flips up and down, the slide is similar to the PocketCM animation in v24+!)
here:
top row.... rltoday, s2u2vc, weatherpanel, s2u2
bottom row... mortplayer main screen, mortplayer car screen, mortplayer alarm screen, s2p

I sized the preview a lil too small to see how it really looks.. but trust me.. its really nice.. especially if you like my wm7-inspired theme, youll want to give this a go!
here is the cube:
for some reason its all fuzzy in the preview above.. on the device it is VERY clear
..so you know..
app launcher apps are:
mortplayer..........Evernote (very neat note function)
Skyfire..........Windows Live (can map it to messenger or email etc)
Comm Manager (or settings of basically anything you want)..........Sprint (anything related to sprint.. I use it for either navigation or mobile email settings)
I dont know if this skin will be useful..but on the off chance that you guys use all the same apps as me, it looks great on the device!
htc touch cube instructions (make sure you use a program like Total Commander - NOT File Explorer):
...copy/move all images in the "htctoucher wm7-inspired HTC TOUCH CUBE skin" folder to your \windows folder on your device
...you may have to kill the following if you get the error "unable to overwrite files" or something like that, which you can use MemMaid for (just download the trial - it lasts 15 days so you can use it for this!)
.......kill: BioTouch.exe, QuickDial.exe, MediaHubMini.exe, APLauncher.exe
...to change the path of the apps the cube opens..
,,,go into REGISTRY
,,,go into HKLM
,,,go into Software
,,,go into HTC
,,,go into BioTouch
,,,go into APLauncher for the App Launcher page
.............go into any App folder and change the "path" string to wheverever the file is that you are trying to open with the corresponding button
.............App0 is the top left app
.............App1 is the middle left app
.............App2 is the bottom left app
.............App3 is the top right app
.............App4 is the middle right app
.............App5 is the bottom right app
,,,go into MediaHubMini for the Media Hub page (music, pics, video)
.............App1_1 is the top
.............App1_2 is the middle
.............App1_3 is the bottom
rltoday instructions are the same as last thread:
RUN "dcinobar.cab" to hide soft keys... and I am including the TSKs (updated with new background) in the rltoday zip
Again, to add more blue.. you can use UITweaker and my settings file for that that you can find in the other thread (in rltodayzip as well)
**rltoday INSTRUCTIONS**
!!ONLY DRAG THE WM7 FOLDER TO YOUR RLTODAY FOLDER ON YOUR DEVICE!!
to hide the bottom softkeys on your todayscreen, you will have to install the "PMC TodayShrink.cab" I included (takes up no resources)
BOTTOM ROW and APP LAUNCHER
The home button on the bottom left of the screen brings you to the first screen. The star can be mapped to shortcut to whatever application you want.
The person icon is pocketcm for me, you can link it to whatever you want, and the web is the next icon.

s2u2 instructions:
..copy files in gfx in zip to gfx in s2u2 folder on your device (overwrite originals)
s2p instructions:
this is an add-on to the s2p gfx skin you can find at my previous thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=2453449#post2453449)
..there are TWO sttopbars included.. blue and black.. choose whichever one you want and name it to sttopbar.png
..if you dont like it, just use the one from the original thread
..copy files in s2p zip to gfx in s2u2 folder on your device (overwrite originals)
..this zip ONLY CONTAINS BUTTONS (no topbar) to match the ImageViewer buttons I created for the wm7-inspired theme
weatherpanel instructions:
good to know:
the little "i" icon brings up a menu that will allow you to switch between locations and go into settings
the yahoo symbol will update your weather!
...copy the folder "iweather - edited htctoucher for wm7-inspired" into your WeatherPanel-->THEMES folder on your device
...copy the folder "Stardock Animated" to your WeatherPanel-->Icons folder
...in settings set for THEME: the folder's name
...select "Segoe UI.wpl" as the layout
...icon set: Stardock Animated
btw you need Segoe UI (havent tried it without Segoe UI.. the layout might look a little weird) which you can find around.. not sure if I am supposed to be posting it, but I did post it on one of my PocketCM themes a while back I think
mortplayer instructions:
things you should know:
,,to move screens, press on the album art
,,to get to playlist, use the little arrow in the bottom left hand corner
...place the "qvista_wm7.mpz" in your Mortplayer folder on your device
...select it in settings as your theme

Few Questions
Nice theme, I want. I have few questions:
1) why do you say "use total commandar NOT File Explorer)?
2) You say "...copy/move all images in the "brn" folder to your \windows folder on your device". However, I do not see a "brn" folder.
Do i copy ONLY the image files or should I copy all files "Images + .brn files"?
3) Where is the "PMC TodayShrink.cab" i do not see it. It's not in the "htctoucher wm7-inspired rltoday 2.0.zip"
4) Not related to this thread, but another one where you said "Mort's MortScript 4.11b7 - !MUST INSTALL TO STORAGE CARD!", I wanted to try that theme first but don't have a storage card. So what happens if i install on the device? If that is not possible, then what do you need MortScript for on that theme?
Sorry for all the questions and thanks in advance.

there should be one folder with image files in the "htctoucher wm7-inspired HTC TOUCH CUBE skin.zip". (sorry I renamed it from "brn" to "htctoucher wm7-inspired HTC TOUCH CUBE skin" at last moment and forgot )
copy ALL FILES inside the folder to your windows folder

if you dont have a SD card, you will just install mortscript to your device.
then download the attached zip
...the skin.xml will replace the skin.xml in the main rltoday-->wm7 folder
...the skin-tab*.xml files will replace the skin-tab*.xml files in the mscr folder found in the rltoday-->wm7 folder
if you were wondering, all I did was find instances of "storage card\program files\" and changed them to "\program files\"
i hope that helps

Dude this theme looks awesome...Great work!!!
You put a lot of time into the instructions etc even though my head hurts a little bit trying to read them
Well done!!
Man your work is really nice. I cant get the Mortplayer skin to work right though. What version of the player do I need installed? Or will this just not work on the Touch? Thanks anyway though.

if you are using the 2.0 version of rltoday, the problem with rltoday closing is that actually i optimized
the theme for ultimatelaunch. if you arent using ultimatelaunch you will have to edit some of the scripts in the mscr folder. there are three you will have to edit: tab1.mscr, tab2.mscr, tab3.mscr.....
all you have to do is open them in notepad.. you can even do this in total commander.. change the 0 for the rltoday today item line to 1 so it shows up when you switch through the tabs.
adding apps isas simple as going into the settings of rltoday (hold down on today screen till you get a popup with options.. then go to the apps page and set some. i believe all apps after the 4th will show up on the app tab.
weatherpanel is a today plugin, so there is no exe.. i use it as another page in ultimate launch.. not sure if you can make it act like an app pretty sure you cant
mortscript issue is strange that should not be happening of you have it installed to storage card!
i dont know what sms bubbles you aer talking about.. pcmcontact bubbles if that is what you mean are packaged in the theme zips
looking forward to seeing a video that would be really cool
hope that helps

Hi All, thought I would publish my first effort at a WAD2 theme. My main aim after using other peoples themes was to make one that is 'thumb friendly' and real simple to use. It has 3 menu pages with large graphical buttons, and a 'home' screen with shortcuts to txt, email and call list. this theme is 99% portrait, how ever on my touch pro 2 if i flip the keyboard and go to landscape i do have a very basic black home screen with the 3 shortcuts. If people like the theme and would like to produce their own icons, let me know and I can post up some photoshop templates.
Installation
Install the files to your normal theme directory and search for new themes, then select Angularz as your portrait and/or landscape theme. Please make sure you install the fonts prior to use, as it may not the clock etc correctly.
Fonts
I use helvetica Neue fonts in the theme and have supplied these in the zip file. I also have replaced my system font with helvetica as it looks nicer, but I will leave that down to you. If you just want to use the fonts for WAD only, place the 3 helvetica fonts in your windows folder (with the rest of the system fonts)
I think I have packaged up all the correct bits (if not please let me know!!)
PLEASE CAN A MOD ALLOW ME TO SHARE LINKS!!
This looks neat. Nice docks.
good day.
it's just WOW!!
Thankyou!, I just wanted something simple but visually nice to look at, and this is the end result!
I find that if you increase the display cache size (through altering the windows registry) it does make it scroll through pages a little smoother.
thatbastard,
I'm using your theme and IMO, it is a simple but gorgeus. However, I have a problem with all notifiers. They are not appeared when I have some unread sms or missed calls. Do you have any suggestions? My device is Omnia i8000.
hi Laruku
You can try going to author mode, then page - show notifiers. Go to the properties once held down on the notifier and have a look through there. Mine is set on 'notifier type - unread sms' etc. by default this should work, however I dont know how different it would be on an omia. have a look in there and see if anything has changed.
how do you get out of author mode
taphold at any page and you'll get yourself the popup menu, i forgot which is the get out of author mode menu,,, but it is there,,,
@thatbastard,
would you mind sharing the images? the home wallpaper is really nice.
new version of WAD converts all the images folder into .wadesktop extension,,, which prevents me for extracting the images,
thx
here's my version
hello everybody !
Here's MY angularz, i hope you'll like this.
Koralii
you can see this on Youtube : v=GXtEynNZaf4 (sorry but i'm new here and can't post the shortcut.
Great Work
Great to see an original piece of work. i will give this a shot
Thanks for adding a bit of originality to my blackstone
Mark
Looks great !!!
wow, great theme
i think i'll make some personal changes and it'd be perfect for my daily use, YO~
DOOD JOB!!
Really nice. It's a shame, imo, that windows phone7 doesn't look more like this. My only comment would be that it might look better to have the text in panels up and to the right a few pixels, and have the voicemail icon transparent. (I can only comment on the screenshot as I don't have VAD2 installed on my device...
Thought it would be handy to have a volume icon on the home screen...
Steve.
Hi all, thanks for checking out my theme, Ive glad youve all liked it. Unfortunately I dont have wisbar installed anymore (and Ive had a lot goin on recently) so will not be continuing anymore projects but I thought I would share the remaining files I have. You can continue modding from my theme as freely as you like, as long as you mention it was based on my creation

Sure, there should be a zip file with ALL the angularz images. Ive also included a new homescreen which is a gloss black version (was going to be called Mono Tonez) but it will not be finished.
Enjoy!
good looking theme
willing to release a WQVGA version?
I´m new user of wad and i don´t know how to install this theme. I´ve installed mortscript and wad, and theme in lakerbridge/themes, and fonts in windows/start menu/programs fonts folder, but I don´t know where install angularz.wadesktop
Thanks a lot of.
Uncle Google says:
1. Using ActiveSync, copy the .wadesktop file to any location on your device.
2. From your device, use File Explorer to navigate to the .wadesktop file you just placed there, then tap on it to launch it.
3. You will be prompted as to a location to place the extracted files. Choose any location you wish (I personally find it helpful to have a Themes folder set up in advance).
4. Once the files are extracted, open WisBar Advance Desktop (if it's not open already), tap and hold on the screen, then tap Change Theme.
5. Now tap Menu > Scan for Themes. When the scanning process is complete, the theme you just installed should appear on the list.
6. Tap the theme, then tap Menu. Choose the appropriate menu option for setting as portrait or landscape. Please note that theme files are usually designed for one orientation or the other.
7. Tap Apply and you're done.
This should get you set up.
Thank you, uncle...
I´ll try.

Hi all,
Here's an Android theme which I made to use with WAD.
It's the first theme I've created but I thought it turned out pretty well, so I thought I'd share it and see what you think.
It's for WVGA devices (I use a TG01) and is portrait only.
It has:
3 main pages for shortcuts (slide left/right to move between them)
Clock widget
2 menu pages - tap the silver button at the bottom of any main page to slide up to menu page 1, and slide your finger up on that page to access menu page 2.
Slide your finger down to get back to menu page 1 and tap the silver button at the top of menu page 1 to get back to the main screens.
Taskbar with battery, signal, wifi and new SMS notifications.
To install (if you're already using WAD you probably know this anyway, but just in case!!):
Unzip contents and copy the 'WAD Android theme' folder to Program Files/Lakeridge/Wisbar Advance Desktop/Themes.
In WAD, tap and hold the screen and select 'change theme' (or 'settings - change theme' depending which version of WAD you have).
A new theme should be listed, if not press menu, then scan for themes to fond it (theme should be called 'original backup')
Tap on this, press menu and select 'set as portrait theme'
Done!!
I also included some other android icons which are not used in the theme, for you to use when making your own changes.
Hope you enjoy it - all feedback welcome.

Thanks for sharing!
tweaks
I've discovered there's a couple of tweaks you'll need to make to this theme, to correct some things:
TIME IN TASKBAR:
This is an hour behind the clock widget and is wrong.
Enter Author Mode and tap and hold on the time.
Tap 'properties',then 'text to display'.
Delete what's in the box, tap 'insert variable' and select 'clock - 12 hour'.
Press 'done' until you are back at the main screen.
BATTERY METER:
Schoolboy error - the meter is decreasing in the wrong direction and looks messed up!!
Enter Author Mode and tap and hold on the battery meter.
Tap 'properties', then 'layout'.
Tick the box labelled 'display in the opposite direction'.
Press 'done' until you are back at the main screen.
Regards,
Wildcardspv
Update
Hi there,
This is a bit of a work in progress, so here is a new version with the above corrections already done, a new wallpaper and now also a slide down bar at the top of the 3 main screens, which opens a notifications screen.
Currently this displays the newest SMS message and gives the option to cycle between next/previous messages, as well as reply to them.
In order for this new version to work, please extract the folders from the attachment and place them on your device as follows:
Android theme: Program Files/Lakeridge/Wisbar Advance Desktop/Themes
Message2Reg: My Device/Program Files
Messages: My Device/Windows/Start Menu/Programs
You will also need to install Mortscript, which is included in the attachment.
Enjoy!!

Further update
The notification screen now shows todays calendar appointments, as well as your newest email (currently googlemail - although the email account can be changed), with the option to flick between next/previous emails.
Here's a screenshot of the main screen with the slide down bar at the top, and the notification screen.
I'll uplodad this updated version tomorrow.

Latest version
Hi,
Here's the latest version with a few changes - see screenshots.
What's new?
1) new email icon in the taskbar
2) reply to email option on the notification screen
3) lockscreen with slider
For emails to be refreshed when opening the notifications screen, please place 'Mail Refresh.Ink' in My Device/Windows/Start Menu/Programs/Messages.
For the digital clock on the lockscreen to work, please ensure that in its script, the 'layout/HTC Home clock theme path' is set to be the 'Digital Clock' folder which is included in this attachment.
Any questions, please get in touch.
As always, all feedback is appreciated.
Regards,
wildcardspv
Improved lockscreen, plus extra wallpapers
Hi all,
Here's a new version with an improved lockscreen, which now includes a volume control slider, new email, SMS and battery level summaries, and network status (see screenshot).
There are also some extra panoramic wallpapers, to span the 3 main screens. In each folder there are 3 files (BG1, BG2 and BG3) - set them as the wallpaper on the following pages:
Desktop - BG1
1 - BG2
2 - BG3
In the last post I said:
"For the digital clock on the lockscreen to work, please ensure that in its script, the 'layout/HTC Home clock theme path' is set to be the 'Digital Clock' folder which is included in this attachment."
In reality you'll find that once the them is installed and applied, the digital clock won't appear on the lockscreen.
To get it, enter Author Mode and add a clock. Choose 'HTC Home' as the type, and then under 'layout/HTC Home clock theme path' set this to be the 'Digital Clock' folder from the previous attachment.
Hope that makes sense!!!
I wish I could create cabs to make this easier for you!!

wildcardspv
All required files
For the avoidance of confusion, here are all the required files.
and if i dont have WAD installed?!?1 can i still use it? sorry im a n00b at this, i just bought my HD2 but already using froyo on it still i wanna use winmo though!!
Sorry my friend, but this theme is specifically for Wisbar Advance Desktop - without running WAD you can''t use it I'm afraid.
Regards,
wildcardspv
mmm and how do i install it?? is it too much trouble?? i dont wanna screw my HD2...
thanks for the reply
Amazing them + (too?) regularly updated!
But to update the first post would really help.
Anyway, Thank you wildcardspv!
idlehands,
What do you want to install?
WAD -> google
This them -> explained in first post, even if it is the last cab that is to be used.
I like it, but shortcuts don´t work and i have to place all them.
Thanks.
Thanks for the feedback guys
@ idlehands - Like Sener said, see earlier posts for install instructions, also check http://forum.lakeridgesoftware.com/showthread.php?t=16492.
It won't mess up your phone but if you find that you don't like the theme, uninstall WAD and ensure that afterwards the following folder has been deleted:
My Device/Program Files/Lakeridge/Wisbar Advance Desktop.
It's always a good idea to soft reset afterwards too.
@ bibiteri - I use a TG01, running KevinPWhite's ROM (TG01_KPW100618.005)
I presume you use a different device or a TG01 with a different ROM?
I guess the shortcut paths may be different on other devices/ROMs, but at least WAD makes it easy to add/edit/delete shortcuts and make them how you want them
I know. Don´t worry.
I have a topaz, htc touch diamond 2, and an energy rom.
Thank you.
What is WAD?
EDIT-- NEVERMIND
I'm trying to test it on my TP2. With WAD 4.0.4, I followed the instructions and copied all the dir around, I go to settings and themes but can't see the your theme.
Have you tried settings>>change theme>> menu>> scan for themes?
Also ensure that the Android theme folder is placed into Program Files/Lakeridge/Wisbar Advance Desktop/Themes, BUT do this on the same memory (phone/storage card) as you have installed WAD
(EG if WAD is installed to storage card, place the Android theme folder into
Storage card/Program Files/Lakeridge/Wisbar Advance Desktop/Themes)
Hope this helps . . .
tanx for ur work. do u have any plan to make it for other resolutions? like QVGA?
i rely want to test it
Can I use this with the free version(trial) of Wisbar?
REWARD:
Any skinner that creates and either posts or sends me a valid OMC theme to publish gets the full app for free!
One More Clock! has been on the market for a few weeks, and recently I've added a powerful skinning engine to the app. However, what's a good skinning engine without skins? The first place I thought of was XDA.
So without further ado:
The app is available on the market as One More Clock Free... the apk is also attached.
1) Add one OMC widget to your home screen. Then click on the clock to get to the options screen.
2) Click on "Widget Theme" to download the starter pack. After that is done, you will have an /OMC folder on your sd card.
3) Click on "Enable/Disable Widget Sizes" from the prefs screen and enable Theme Tester. Back out until you get back to your home screen.
4) The attached 4 tutorials can then be unzipped over the existing content in the OMC folder.
5) Look at the 00control.xml file in each of the four folders for a detailed tutorial on how OMC skinning works!
The OMC Theme Tester (the Raccoon) is a handy tool for rapid tweaks and changes to your theme:
1) Once you have a valid basic xml file, copy the theme folder to the SD card using ADB explorer or similar.
2) Fire up the OMC theme tester on your phone/emulator, and select your theme from the list.
3) the 4x2, 4x1 and 3x1 widgets are rendered onscreen and re-read from sdcard every 3 seconds.
4) make any changes you have for the fonts, bitmaps or 00control.xml file from your computer, and push to the phone via ADB to see the changes instantly!
When you're happy with the theme, just zip up the theme folder and rename the extension to .omc .
To offer downloads of the theme to paid users, after you upload the .omc file, rename the http:// to omc:// and https:// to omcs:// . OMC (paid version) is configured to automatically install any themes found at an omc: link, no download/unzip required.
Thanks!
I guess I can go first, too...
Since I laid down a reward for skinners, I guess I should prove OMC to be worth your time. Here you go (Iron Indicant)... this theme was created in 2 hours over the last two days (mostly photoshopping the background).
The clock face rotates with the time of day. There aren't many clock widgets out there that can render that...
Or this one (Hello Droid) - just something fun and different. Can I interest anyone?
Or how about this (Vertical)?
And second...
Here's a theme that a tester submitted to me earlier. Anyone interested?
And third.
Just one more for today - Dyma Dynamics.
