I have a cellular south htc touch diamond brand new old one broke figured id go ahead and flash it but i have about 9 cdma roms and they all give me the error 262 and it doesnt move back 0% any help?.

Hi, my colleague tried to upgrade qtek9090.... and now returned to me crashed!!
Now when I turn on I see on splash screen: No GSM and D 1.40.04 ITA.
I tried to reapply latest original ROM (BA_DT_ITA_14004_153_11200_Ship) but I get the message R2500 D1001 - CB2.07 -1 and red message ERROR 120: COUNTRY ID ERROR No-No-21-21-21
If I use MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe with same ROM the update starts, but after few seconds I get the message R2500 D1001 - CB2.07 -1 and a red message with ERROR 114: RADIO ROM UPDATE ERROR
It seems that only Radio ROM is corrupted, but I don't know how to restore it.
If someone has any idea, please let me know, otherwise I have to return this for servicing to dangaard (and wait)

I had this problem as stated in the topic.
The progress bar doesn't move at all.
After awhile, my laptop states that ERROR 262 occurred.
I tried a few more times and it is still the same.
Can any one help me on this?
first of all if u try to update a rom different from ur own country u need to do Hard SPL http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=400950
I was getting error 262 also, until I realised that you need the Developer version of the HardSPL installed (I'd just installed the normal one) - as this rom is not signed.

I got a T mobile MDA IV and i am tryin to update the rom on my phone.
I have done the HARD SPL update and on my phone it now says SPL-1.30.0liNex.
i am tryin to do the next bit which is update the Radio.
Radio update starts and it gets to the grey screen and a white box on top with a progress bar and its stuck on zero and about 5 minutes later it it says
UPDATE ERROR (262)
and do a recovery i have tried this set few times and still same error.
Please help what am i doing wrong

I believe that you may need to CID unlock the device too, this allows you to flash different carrier/cooked ROM on your device.

HTC Touch Pro2 (Boost) I put a Sprint TP2 on Boost mobile with the newest Energy ROM. Two days later, the screen went bad (not b/c of the ROM). I got a replacement phone and I cannot get it to unlock. I get errors (262 and 240) I have read for hours and tried several resets and still can't unlock the phone or maybe my terminology is incorrect? I cannot get the phone unlocked. I can't get Energy ROM to flash on this phone? Also, this phone runs out of battery power overnight without using it. HELP!

error 262 means a USB connection problem - see Hard-SPL thread 1st and 2nd posts for USB connection troubleshooting tips.

I'm also curious...can't remember what error 240 means - what is the error text that goes with it?
ERROR [240] : FILE OPEN
When this error message appears, check whether the downloaded image is placed in the directory of RUU. If, for some unknown reason, you find that the ROM image is not located in the RUU folder, you have to download the RUU and retry again.
Q: During the upgrade, the progress bar is moving. If the error message (ERROR [262] : UPDATE ERROR) appears, what should I do?
A: This may occur when the connection is lost, without power supply, computer host is down, or due to other unexpected cases. You will see that there’s still one progress bar displayed on the device but it is not moving any more. The device cannot get into the Wince screen, so you cannot connect with ActiveSync. This problem usually can be recovered. You just need to follow the instructions in the error message box, reset the device, and run RUU again. RUU will re-flash the whole image again.
Note: You should remove the battery and reset the Mobile Device.

I HAVE BEEN TRYING FOR THE BETTER PART OF 4 DAYS TO INSTALL A CUSTOM ROM
