Amazing, my favourite so far, not tried the clear widgets yet. Can't decide if I preference the clear or black rosie. Keep them coming.

Read this post on signing and building update.zip files, You must have the sdk installed and running to start with!
The key is to treat apk and update.zip files as zip files which can be chopped and changed as much as you want from within winrar. The hard part is getting the signing to work however I found this post very useful http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=467639
the 3 main files to skin are ....
com.htc.resources.apk - HTC stuff
framework-res.apk - Basic android stuff
rosie.apk - HTC sense stuff
just try taking one of my theme zip's apart and have a play, if cannot get it signed send it me and I'll do it for you

how do i install themes i know it has summit to do with recovery mode but i dont know how to access that lol ps its running latest orange firmware and is in su mode

just download the theme and rename it "update.zip" put this onto your memory card, turn off your phone then press and hold the "home" button while pressing the power button.... keep the "home" button down until you get to the recovery screen then select flash the update.zip as you would a rom.

(11/24/09) Font Revolution for every rom and theme(24 fonts so far)

Works really well.
I created a backup first just in case.
I flashed 'the hand of sean' to my Modaco 2.9. Hero.
Worked flawlessly and EVERYTHING is in that font (even the clock time in the notification bar!), looks quite cool!

download the font and rename to DroidSans.ttf and DroidSans-Bold.ttf
then extract the files from one of the prepackaged zips and replace the files in fonts with the ones you renamed
then delete the three files in META INF that aren't a directory (so leave the com folder alone) and then rezip it and resign it and there ya go
EDIT: did it for ya .. didnt test it but it should work

no i can't becuase of two reason.
1. The browser will lag and so will your phone.
2. The file itself is half a megabyte.
other than that it is a really good font.

It worked just fine..... no lag of slow browser here... looks sick as hell too!

From cm updater there is a font update that you can download. You could always flash a theme or a rom to get it back.

i was lookin for something like this. u did it with ease.
i was wonderin tho. i installed it and im guessin the font to big and on some of the words they cut off at the end. is there a way to fix it so it can be perfect fit and now words would be cut offf?

Standard disclaimer, I don't guarantee anything that might happen after following these steps. These steps worked for me and I have tried to include every steps. My phone is running Modaco 2.9 but this should theoretically work on any ROM. But no guarantees. So please do nandroid Backup 1st so if anything wrong happens you can do Nandroid restore.

Dude great work looks amazing but can't u provide da original WiFi icon dat comes wid da cupcake builds...dat wid look Awsome...and da statusbar complete dis icon looks cheap or replace it wid da default hero WiFi icon...by da way thanx for da wonderful theme..

those wifi icons get pixeleted while converting to black. But I will try again tonight.

Does anybody know what language this is? lol

This looks good, but I've noticed that the HSDPA icon is still a black tile. Which really spoils the look. Am I the only one?

I am dying (no pun intended) to have this status bar on my CDMA hero. Now, I am sort of new to this but I am confident enough in my self to follow tutorials, so if there is a way to move this over to a CDMA hero that I don't know about, links would be greatly appreciated.

bro cud u plz take some screenshots and send those to me as i want to create a thread in cdma section but dont have cdma hero to take screen shots. in this way i can port my other themes for CDMA as well. cheers

Try messing with CMSettings ;D Forgot what it was called exactly but click the checkbox next to disable carrier name (Something along those lines anyway )

I would really want this for MDPI devices as well, looks awesome!

You cant use this one, as you have experienced ...but its possible to make one for another Rom. Just.. somebody has to do it..ask your Rom dev

Ofcourse. Well, on Enomther's 2.2 Rom that is That caused a bootloop. Will restore a CM6.1 Nandroid now and try again.

Nope, there is no 6.1.1 yet for my phone (HTC Magic). Naturally, got another bootloop

- I use this one now:
- abbreviated "Notifications" cause of overlapping provider text
- X insted of Clear
- Gingerbread PopMenu
- cyan progressbar
- tested on last fitsnugly´s build [here], if you wanna test in on Cm 6.1.1, do Nandroid before, but could work.

I'm on Apex 1.3.1 w/ Gingerbread parts. I'll have to see if he can throw this in the ROM mix. Fingers Crossed!

I started from scratch, new Install of CM7 RC1.4, Started from scratch with the systemui.apk
Will Be adding an undo zip later. For now do a nandroid backup!
Im reopening this mod under one condition. NO SMART ASS REMARKS!

What are the bugs that are still present?

yah this looks very nice..but what are the bugs so I know what to expect lol
Also, what theme are you running as well as icons?

when you get a notification the wording is off to the right, and left status icons overlap just a bit.

the one you sent me does it have the transparent patch? if not how could i achieve this lol.

To undo all u need to do I grab SystemUI.apk from the CM7 rom zip of whatever version you are using, then throw it in a flashable update zip and ur good

Patch does not work for OMFGB for anyone wondering.

Hey man I don't blame you for nothing I really like this but I have my screen density to 190 so when I get a text its everywhere.ITS ALL MY FAULT FOR FORGETING TO BACKING UP.

Im aware of the fc while mounting usb. You can either use the mod and use a mount usb widget or not use the mod and wait for me to fix this issue. Im boggled atm cause i didnt even touch the usb mounting part?????
