sim card missing - XPERIA X1 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

so i got this problem and hopefully someone can help.
i've been having this problem: my mobile worksxd--> then my connection is lost --> i try to reset my phone(comm manager and then the phone on/off button)--> but after that it says sim card is missing so i try to reset just by putting my phone off and putting it back on of by doing a soft reset but it keeps saying sim card missing.. I flashed my x1 with touch-it leo this afternoon and that helped(had touch-it 14 before) but now i got the same problem again does anyone know how to fix this or why this happens?
thanks in advance and hopefully i've given enough info just ask if you need more.

first I would try the sim in another phone
then I would try another sim in the phone
to see if it was a hardware defect in your sim card or in the sim slot in your phone

Need Help Please

My phone just suddently stopped reading my simcard. the sim card works on my fathers phone, Please help me what can i do i really need to get it working
It could be as simple as a dirty connection on your phone.
Use a clean dry cloth and VERY CAREFULLY clean the six points on the phone that make contact with the sim card.

i've tryed that but it dident help, ive heard its a strange bugg that deletes the IMEI nr from your phone
Try using your father's sim card in your phone....
If it works fine: Get your sim replaced.
If it does not work, get your device checked.

i had a similar issue, first one it was my fault, i inserted my sim card wrong...if you're wrong your simcard will plug correctly but does not work.
About the issue you're talking about I had a problem with imei and wifi and BT adresses.
It's an issue of the ROM that does not read the /efs/nv_data.bin correctly, because all data included in the efs folder is read only.
I just installed a stock rom to have a confirm of this thing and it was.
It's always raccomended to backup efs folder before any flash
try to change a rom .

rebooting with new sim card

Hy
I have a little problem!
I got a new sim card in my motorola milestone. But the phone keeps rebooting all the time! sometimes i am able to write a text but if i wanna call its too much and a reboot starts!
i have tried another sim card in my phone and it works!
i have tried another phone with my card and it works!
i dont understand if its a sim card problem or phone problem.
i have 2.3.7 kernel 2.6.32.9 cyanogenMod 7.2.0
does anyone help me out?
Tell your carrier that your phone keeps rebooting with the SIM card they gave you and they unless they replace the SIM for free, you see no reason to continue service.
the problem is that my sim card works in other phones.
Now i got my milestone back to the stock and it seems to work.
I think it was the cyano 7 but now without it my phone sucks!

No service, no imei, no baseband after rebooting

I just got an old htc ph39100 and it met some troubles like this. After rebooting, it usually lost imei and baseband so my phone has no service. But if I try to reboot many times, finally it has service and Imei and baseband too. But if I turn off or restart my device, it has same troubles again.
I tried to flash RUU file to come back stock rom but it doesn't solve the problem
So anyone can help me to fix this?

Check your Sim card slot... Make sure your card fits tight... Maybe push down on the metal that the Sim card rides in

I checked a lot of times but no luck. I just wondering if it's sim card slot problem, so why my device doesn't recognize IMEI, baseband? After many many times try to reboot, some how it have service again and IMEI and baseband appear. But all of them were lost after rebooting.

SIM stands for Subscriber Identity Module....
If the information you are talking about is missing... Its usually because the gold contact on the card isn't making a connections to the gold pins in your phone... Especially when its intermittent...
Try this...
Take the back cover off the phone with the power off... Push down LIGHTLY on your SIM slot and hold it... Then push power... If the slot is under the battery... Try a little shim under the battery on top of the SIM slot... We are just trying to push down on the card a little...

Well so I'm looking for a solution please help me
I can see my IMEI in sim card options
MotoG5sPlus (Sanders-XT1805-32go-Havoc-v3.0-25122019)
If you have a 2nd slot for the sim, try that. Or get a news SIM - that one may be bad. It happens
