The release of MS3.5 inspired me to make some modifications to my homescreen.
Here is a list of changes/modifications:
MH-Battery : Used the MS3.5 Big Time Background and turned it
into a battery meter,
also added Charging indicator icons and
a 4 Block container background for other widgets
MH-DigitalClock : Removed Background Image leaving just the time Text (Needed For MH-Battery Mod)
MH-Birthdays : Modified birthday widget to small size.
MH-Tasks : Reduced Font and Icon size for tasks, modified separator
MH-Agenda : Reduced Font Size, Reduced Width of calendar, modified separator
Reduce height of recycle bin to allow widgets to be placed at base of screen without being trashed.
Removed Mobile Shell navigation bar and added SPB Shortcuts.

hmm, thats weird, i have a Touch HD, so your device and mines should be pretty similar, also nothing was done to alter the original functionality of MS3.5 as all the orignal widgets etc remains. Will look into it though, thanks.
great widgets btw, thanks. one thing though, is there a reason you branded the battery meter with mh widgets 1.0??? honestly, would much rather see the date up there.
was thinking of gettin the weather widget up there, currently working on it, was also thinking about putting the date / alarm up there. so you guys can have a few options.

Hey guys, i dont know if it works on the other resolutions, only tested on WVGA,
you cant try installing it on the other devices and see if it works, and let me know.
Backup your qa_layouts.dat file in the spb mobile shell directory before testing.
If it does not work on your device, unintall the cab via "remove programs" and then restore your backed up qa_layouts.dat

As for the other resolutions, the graphics files would need to be completely redone to match the resolution of the device, please provide the "qa_layouts.dat" file and specify the resolution. And ill see what i can do about a conversion. First come First Serve, so qvga is first .
Also i want to make sure there is no bugs etc with the WVGA version before i start churning out the other resolutions. Also working on a design to acomodate the default lifestyle skin of the notification icons.

Since I was not satisfied with any existing VGA themes (most of which were upscaled from QVGA) I decided to do my own Diamond theme.
I tried to be pretty accurate while doing this theme, all icons, backgrounds etc. were prepared from the scratch by me, basing on numerous screenshots from Diamond TF3D.
I tested it over a week before releasing it to the public now. However, since I'm pretty busy with my day-to-day life, I don't plan to make any major changes to this theme, unless you discover some bugs.
Over 5000 downloads later, finally long awaited update! Comments for 1.0.2 version begin here.

- I have noticed one or two people in some other boards crediting them selves for my theme... I MEAN COME ON, YOU DON'T NEED TO PAY A FRACKING CENT FOR IT AND YET YOU CLAIM IT'S YOURS!?

- as soon as clean my source .PSD files, I will release a pack of those, for people who would like to use the elements for other themes.

KALI2000, you would need to edit your weather.xml file in order to center the big weather image, as you see currently it's more to the right, since my layout file is suited for the images 300px wide. I will find the exact place and will let you know where to edit.
EDIT:
Check the qa_layouts.dat file for MainWeather.xml, you need to find and edit two lines 115 and 172 (portrait mode / horizontal mode):
<LeftTop X="45" Y="80"/>
X marks the spot ;} err I mean is the space ammount in pixels measured from left margin
OK, short explanation where does the 45 come from.
My weather picture is 300px wide. Screen is 480px wide.
480px - 300px = 180px
180 / 2 (left and right margin) = 90px
However since this is a QVGA conversion of a theme, SPB doubles all the dimensions automatically, hence in order to achieve 90px margin in VGA you need to put half of the value - in my case 45px. Hope it's clear
At one moment I tried to convert BeyondInvisible's Diamond Enchanced icon set.
The icons are 240px wide (full screen), I have resized it to 480px, packed it in the theme, however, the bitmap was huuuge (if I remember correctly about 8MB), unfortunaltey SBP MS crashed when I tried to display weather page. So be careful guys while trying to convert other weather icon sets. Beside that, the memory consumtion grows rapidly if the images are large.
I checked yesterday, SPB MS uses ca. 11-12MB RAM with my theme - which already may be too much for some older VGA devices... But that's the price one has to pay for a good looking theme

this is now the default skin for taskfacade!
Added FingerMenu skin (see second post for cab!).......install Finger Menu FIRST!
Stop FingerMenu
then install the cab to your device

Added PocketCM Keyboard skin
Drag all contents of the zip into pcmkeyboard folder, then select the skin/layout in options (hold down return on the keyboard)
There are two files (gloss.skin and gloss smaller.skin... one is 140 pixels tall and one is 123 pixels tall)
Added TouchPal skin
Unzip the "Resources" folder into your touchpal folder on your device, then soft reset

things to know... READ! (v1)
..you do NOT have to have a different background for the home tab.. if you DO want it, it is included in the "glossier home tab bgs.zip" as "hh_fw_backgroundhome.png" (you can move it wherever, or delete the "home" portion and copy it to your windows directory to use it throughout m2d!)
..the page icons (big icons when running your finger across the bottom) are glossy, just like the earth icon and opera icon you see.. all custom by me!
..this can be and should be used with m2dc
..i recommend changing the font sizes of calendar and missed call buttons to about 20 for missed call and 14/16 for calendar in m2dc
..the weather icons are stardock icons (GREAT! icons), I manually switched out HTC's for stardock's (that took a while..)

.....if you would prefer glossier home tab clock background and plugin background.. copy the files attached in "glossier home tab bgs.zip" to your windows or into the "htctoucher gloss m2d.zip" windows folder if you are using it with m2dc!.. **the clock and plugin background are included by default in v2 iolite version!**
(i suggest you all do so! -its shown in the preview-)
ALSO
.....if you would prefer to have little icons instead of the text in the slider on the bottom, download the .zip attached "tabicons.zip" and copy all icons to your windows folder on device (overwrite) or to the windows folder in the gloss m2d skin zip if you are using my skin with m2dc (thank fwaits for requesting this as part of his 1 request for being a member of my Golden List!)
.....in my opinion i think it looks good to have text as the inactive tabs, and icons as the active tabs.. if you would like this.. only use the icons in the tabicons.zip that have the words "tabicon" in them!
attached also is the tsk you see in the previews (should be anyway)
......just unzip the tsk file into your storage card or wherever, and load it in the home settings on your device!
......i also suggest installing uitweaker and then going into systweak and import the "final color.sys" file also included blends well with this theme

due to lack of space on the first post, thumbcal, taskfacade and fingermenu skins are also attached!
(my taskfacade skin is included as default in the new version of taskfacade! (see here)) - so i guess you wont have to download the theme here anymore
Thumbcal: (skin.htctoucher gloss v2.zip) - place it in your thumbcal folder and select it in settings
FingerMenu: (htctoucher fingermenu gloss skin.cab) - install to device.. you can delete the _vga files if you are using qvga device, or vice versa... just reinstall my cab if you want them back (dont know why you would but just in case)
TaskFacade:
**removed** (my skins are now included default in taskfacade as "Gloss")!
uploaded three more skins for taskfacade, will remove if they also become default

as for wvga .. it's hard since I don't have a device with that resolution (anyone willing to donate one )
I may try pocketcm wvga but I don't think I'll be able to do the dialer
I may also do s2u2 and galarm.. maybe throttle.. but no guarantees at this point!
I'll be making a s2p and maybe imageviewer(pcm)

right now i just use my wm7 small skin.. fits pretty well
i might make a black keyboard to fit with the dialer
and as soon as i see a good base layout that works well for v21 ill make one for that

yeah i love your pocketcm skin but need a nice keyboard to fit it. i hope you can make it a little smaller because i find it easier to use believe it or not.

make what smaller? the wm7 small keyboard is about as small as it can be

I am thinking of skinning TouchPal as well
some comments:
- you left a PSD file in the pocketcm theme (which takes 400Kb)
- you should remove the line that aren't setting or precede them with # (I suspect the line with ======= may have some nasty effect).
- the "strange animation" is probably because you set: panel.contactdetail.box
- Also I strongly advice you to use "development mode" and look at log.txt log file, you'll find some errors in your theme: Can't load image: buttoncallx.png, Can't replace setting for: textcontrol.phonecalleditpanel.numberedit.unfocused.background=fill($high9148$), etc...
Lastly, there is a bug in current version of PocketCM (not the next daily build in theory) that make PCM crashed when editing anything, workaround: set textcontrol.*.background=fill(#FFFFFF) (no image, no gradient, no alpha, etc...). Next version will fix this of course.

Hello everyone,
Just finished another version of Titanium Themes I am working on. I have portrait & landscape cabs for: VGA, WVGA, QVGA & WQVGA.
The .cab changes your titanium text to icons only, the background, taskbar, etc will not be changed.
Note that I do like the text, however, the icons allow for a more visible background.
Themes are thanks to twolf & mallman as it could not have been completed without them.
I suppose we can call QVGA & WQVGA official, no weather or Opera support now though I do intend to add them ...one of these years.
Downloads attached in this post. Betas are thanks to OndraSter.
You may lock up your phone & have to clear storage, so I recommend you back up first.
A new not so beta WVGA has been added for download. Note the home tab is slightly different (4th screen). Support for Opera & a few other plugins was added so long as you install your plugins first. Lastlly you won't have the Neuropol font, which is only attached to the home tab, unless you add it to \windows\fonts\. I dunno if I can attach it here or not so here's a link to dload it for now: http://www.dafont.com/neuropol.font
Background for VGA screens are from SsS (by Deck on PPC) rom default, stated made by jbchow.
Please feel free to modify & repost this theme as long as it is free.

This looks good. I didn't like the large text, so reduced it...but your idea of having icons is perhaps even better. I wonder if there is a way to show the icon and when you put u drag the bar, if the icon + text can show. I'll give it a shot when I have some free time.

Okay, about 2/3 done with the qvga & noticed an issue with the alarm icon on vga version which I will work out as soon as I am done with qvga.
Update: Alarm only shows if you have alarms set, lol, man am I a winner. W & QVGA's betas posted, definite issues with WQVGA landscape, wip.

I'm with you. In attempts to maximize the amount of background shown I also tried messing around with the layer heights. I was trying to make the ClockExpanded height nearly full screen and leaving all the other layers their current height, but the Titanium doesn't appear to let you have different height attributes. When I make all of the plugin heights larger (trying to get fullscreen/near fullscreen plugins), the text would get distorted.
Stupid M$! Fix your Titanium UI to make it recognize all XML attributes so we can full flexibility.

I believe you may not be using the windows default (titanium theme).
The theme should appear when you check "Windows Default" in you Today settings.

You could do that by shifting the images of the clock plugin outside the panel and insert above the clock plugin some blank plugins so the text of the other condensed plugins does not come in the way.

To change the Pro Background, rename the file to qa_fundotela.dat and copy to Spb Mobile Shell folder.

Always restart Mobile Shell after copying for it to take affect.
Do the following to make your own custom background dat file.
1. Rename any of the custom backgrounds in the zip file to qa_fundotela.zip
2. Unzip to a folder using the password: b0fm18zq
3. Make 2 backgrounds to use as follows:
For QVGA version (240x400 saved as Background.bmp and 400x240 saved as BackgroundL.bmp)
For VGA version (480x800 saved as Background.bmp and 800x480 saved as BackgroundL.bmp)
4. Move the 2 new background files into the folder you made in step2 (overwriting the originals)
5. Zip the 3 files back up with password protection (using password: b0fm18zq)
6. Rename the new file to qa_fundotela.dat (for pro screen) or qa_fundotela2.dat (for all others) and copy to your Spb Mobile Shell folder on your phone (overwriting the original)
7. Soft Reset your phone
Note3: You might have trouble changing the background on the lifestyle screen. A solution provided by degavi is to first select the image you want then exit the shell (spb menu, settings, spb shell, menu button, exit shell) then go in to the spb mobile shell folder and delete the background.dat file. Restart mobile shell and your desired image will appear.
Note4: To Backup your screens layout for future restoration. Using a Registry Editor export the (HKLM, Software, Spb Software House 2, Spb Mobile Shell, Widgets) Folder. It will back up all 7 screens and your spb favorites contacts. BEFORE restoring your registry backup, delete the previous registry folder so there is no chance of anything being left that could interefere with your restoration.

The Lite version has only a few widgets to minimize the file size. All the widgets only take up hardly any space after installation.
Install Procedure:
1. Uninstall any extra cabs or addons you have installed for Spb Mobile Shell
2. Uninstall Spb Mobile Shell and soft reset your device
3. Install the latest version of Spb Mobile Shell (current version is 3.5)
4. Install ProPlus Basic or Ultimate to device memory (same as MS3 in installed)
5. After installations completes, soft reset your device

You can install the main cab right now because I will add the dots as a variation (I will post the MSkipFilesUE.dat file which you can just copy across to your mobile shell folder on your phone and soft reset for it to take affect).

What sites can you download from and what resolution do you require?
Is there a way to restore the smooth scrolling (android like) instead of multiple homescreens ? I'm using Ultimate version over Elegance because of this.

I like the combo
but I really dislike the icons at the bottom of the Pro menu bar. When using Ultimate I was able to change them via the MenuBar3Pro.xml. Now they are tied to the icon.bmp. I was just using couple of global icons.
Is there a way to add something in the xml to allow changing these icons? Not too big a deal but I have scoured the 3.0 thread and can't find any icon.bmp that I like. And I have zero experience and no software for creating icons.
I have attached the MenuBar3Pro.xml I was using. Only if you have time and inclination.

Thank you, I am using the exact cab you made me. After I install it I put your original lighter manila icons back in the menubar-you were right, it does look better, and I love your mirrored panels, you were right about that also. I wonder if your black miirors could work with base changer? Just a thought. Anyway, here is the link, just let me know if you need anything

You cant have the smooth scrolling with Elegance or Ultimate Elegance. The Exact Reason they have been made is for the continuous scrolling and selectable pages and you cant have that with the standard lifestyle screen. ProPlus Ultimate is the only version that will keep that old type of scrolling. Either that or one of the Basic cabs that im making with just the widgets included.
Hey Mskip, I’m LOVING UltimateElegance. One thing I’ve noticed for the WQVGA build is that LockScreen1 in qa_Layouts needs to be adjusted. The height for Layout Name “240X400” is set to 330 and it’s 362 in LockScreens 2-7. It doesn’t affect the usability or anything but it prevents you from being able to put anything in the bottom 32 pixels. Maybe something to look at for the next release.
I’ve set mine to 376 which really is TOO low, but I want to be able to drop a widget with a “Box Skin" RIGHT at the bottom of the page. Thank You again for all the work and time you’ve put into these builds.

Whats base changer?
I doubt I will get to look at it tonight but I have some free time tomorrow so I will start work on it, put all the 3.5 widgets in your custom version and convert all the graphics files so they work properly. If theres no problems you should get a 3.5 version of your Manila Theme by the weekend

Thanks for noticing that If you set the height in WQVGA to more than 374 (400-26pixel taskbar) then you will get scrolling if you pull the widget too low when moving it around. If you really want full screen usage, remembering that you cant click on any part of the widget thats below the menubar, then set the height to 374.
For anyone who doesnt want to reinstall then you can just rename the attached file to qa_layouts.dat and copy it to your mobile shell folder on your phone, then soft reset.
I have fixed all the cabs and will replace them in the first post right now

I've got mine at 376 for now and haven't seen any problems yet. But that may be because I'm sunning 6.5.1 and my taskbar is only 18 pixels. Then again I may start running into problems once I've run it for a couple of days. If that's the case it's really easy to change back to 374.
I love the way you've set up your qa_layouts, makes it easy to make changes. I use to have to tweak a few things with Elegance but with the freedom of Ultimate Elegance I just throw some others Widget XML's in your Layouts Folder and save it.

great theme, few changes i would like to suggest.
1.) add another option at the bottom of the home screen for email.
2.) in the scroll menu have the icons transparent like the main screen in stead of blue.
3.) Get rid of xbox live (its just a theme) just call it games.
4.) on the main screen where the clock is add the weather there
5.) can you let us know what is working and what is not, that way we won't get any surprises and will be able to fix some of the issues
For whoever tries to convert this wvga can you combine two of the pages from the image, the image that has pictues/phone and the other one music + video and games. Like have that as one long page so we scroll down to get the bottom dunno if that is the case with the vga version.

I made a mp3 player-ish page in WAD2 which I now use.
It's better than the last music things. Costed me like 2 hours but it works fantastic using S2P player in background. If you want, feel free to use it in your theme.

dude amazing just tried it on my omnia and it worked just fine. The only thing it needs to fit wvga is add to more tab at the bottom of the screen and in the sub menus like game bigger font.

Mostly all pages have to get shortcuts to files & folder. Anyone can change the layout as he pleases. Grids also have to be added or altered.
