today i bring to you all my line of firestorm series that some might recognize from X1

Introduction:
this lil package is desided to work the same way as UC but has certain advantages

- after applying the bg to the files, remame them to 29cff4fe_manila5 & 058acf31_manila5 and so on
- copy them to windows dir and apply using the app

- u need to extract \windows\11d4e1ae_manila and change it to ur own BG using whaterer image....the backdrop needs to be croped of a normal 800x480 imange and then resized to 512x1024. else the backdrop might me missed shaped
- now lets say u want to add the theme to sample5.....
- after applying the bg to the files, remame them to 11d4e1ae_manila5
- copy them to windows dir and apply using the app

over at x1. i used to do roms in three varient
TR: manila 2.1 + customized titanium
LEO: manila 2.1 + non- customized titanium as it takes up ram n CPU
RHODIO (or XPERIO for x1): just titanim with only the nice apps from HTC
EDIT: ill edit the posts from page 1 when roms are ready .

my signature is not correct. i am using radio 4.49.25.05 at the moment. the 2.5 i was using before i flashed your version, my location was working. it was the same 2.5.19193431 TF3D build. it does not work over active sync either.
you have the no data shortcut in games folder.

Google maps work with the Google cab, not the one above. Also wifi does not connect. What is VoiceCommand? The cab that is posted does not install.

Alright, as some of you have noticed, I have been too busy to update my rom series for x1. The main reason is that X1 feels annoyingly slow (takes a good 5-7 minutes to flash and another 5-7 minutes to finish customization) and lack of time. Most importantly, there are no new things to upgrade to. All sys from MS is the same and all HTC are the same old stuff.
Hence I have decided to stop working on x1 series. However, if someone wants a custom rom with application that you want to be cooked in, you may click on this link to find out more.
However, I will upgrade the ROM if:
• There is a bug that cannot be fixed via cab.
• There is an upgrade from MS/HTC that improves functionality/performance
• Cookie mod upgrade that required cooking
This decision may come as a shock, and some may even find it wrong as there are many a times that a lot of you helped me out….(hell I got a TP2, HD2, a new PC and other small things with your help). However, I think this is better for me, to concentrate on individual roms and not collective ones.

i boot up tf3d and saw the my fave tab. at program tab some of the icon where white square's. turn off tf3d then install the cab. took away fave tab from tmo and programs tabs. runs at 50% windows default and 57% tf3d active. runs pretty smoothly. install smabergs classic start menu and saw programs tab again. when playin youtube it loads with small preview picture but when you try to play it kicks you back out to ui. not only that but the play buttons from youtube(fast forward,stop,play,rewind) are stuck on the screen even if disabled tf3d still stuck. only way i got it to go w/o reset is load youtube don't play anything and exit out.

i think i found the problem on youtube.....
bout myfav and program tab- i din test program tab out properly and i don have tmob to use it. and u were not suposed to load manila without the fix. even i din try it...;p...anyway atleast it loadds...lol

did tried a number of wm6.5 rom before but unfortunately didnt liked any one of those, as i favor Manila 3d over titanium.
But after seeing that your rom has both the option to play with, i couldn't resist myself from flashing it.
Currently its overwriting Touch X ultimate (was using it for last 3 week), will give you some feedback for your next release,

- Your device may be show a white screen duing the First Setup (for me it appears only after configuring a mail account)

Two things I noticed:
My soft keyboard stopped working after a while
There's no browser installed, which is a good and a bad thing. There's not even the new IE.

Well, Opera 10 Beta 2u is pre-installed and should be the default browser! Strange behaviour!

It's a nice ROM (HTC Version), but as I can not connect to WiFi and the settings for my AT&T SimCard are not found I can not use it. In other ROM's if you change the SIM card the settings come automaticaly. So I wait for next beta

That's because I removed some useless stuff in my eyes: Connection Setting (installable as cab file) and the SIMContacts-thingy as examples! They are useless and a waste of memory since I got about 8-10 MB more without them than inlcuding them!
By the way: I removed the animated backgrounds and avatars, too! Gave me about 4 MB!

Have to do some bugfixing but my current state is working as wanted, including WiFi! Now based on Leo 2.05 and it's a lot faster than the older one!

First of all, great ROM, great looking and the speed is very nice and I love the system loading screen...
But few problems and ideas...
I donno why but my touchscreen keyboard dont work. It shows up, space, enter and the arrows works fine but nothing happens when letter is pushed. Tryed also a landscape touchkeyboard and that works fine...
Next thing is poweroffwarning.exe crashing, so basicaly you cannot turn it off by the button
And the ideas... I very miss the lock button (long push for home botton), could you add it? So I miss the total commander a musthave for WM...
And finaly about a connection setup... Do you realy want to save memory here? Its pain in the ass setting up the conetions manualy...

For now everything is working without poblems and the remaing bugs are mostly cosmetical nature!
ok flashed my brandnew rhodium with ur beta 2 ROM. all fine so far. works indeed good.
but i miss the transcriber (and so on) function. also i miss, at a lot formfields where to input text, the softkeyboard - and special i miss the "telefontastatur" softkeyboard function (looks like a regular numberfield with 3 letters on each button). any CABs out there?
also i have trouble to get my plantronics BT headset (single-ear) connected to the phone (but that was already an issue with original ROM). headset is for sure working. any ideas how to connect it? is there something different between smartphone and ppc when it comes to connect a headset? (stupid question i know)

Great work, its a great improvement from previous beta, which itself was even very good.
I had a little issue with WLAN, I had to soft-reset my phone before it stopped claiming the key is wrong (which wasn't the case). Then it logged in without problemes with the previous false-claimed key - even before I finished entering my SIM-PIN ;-)
In Comm Manager, when I click on "Bluetooth" (not on the on-off-Button to switch it on or off, that works, but on the "normal" entry to open up the bluetooth-preferences) the WLAN-preferences show up. Tried that several times. The click is registered at the right place, so I think the entry is linked wrong.
***Discontinued, i switched to HTC HD2 Leo and i do not have any HD more to test with***

I like to have Space and speed in my HD and that is why i cook my own clean ROM.
Clean ROM:
- NO MANILA (i hate it)
- Removed some other MS Scrape and useless stuff
- UC using RUNCC (use sdconfig.txt)
- Long Battery life
- PP= 20MB
- Free RAM ~120MB
- Free Space ~ 300MB
very stable and it is flying!!!!

- non yet!
I cooked it for me and like to share it with u, so if u like give it a try on UR OWN RISK.

sdconfig.txt should be in the root of ur SD Card and the content must be like following (just as example):

UC is only for the installation of CABs that do not need special user interact, like agreements or extra options.
If u try to install a Cab wich need such user interactions the costumization will stop!

A clean ROM with Build 28xxx will be available, but the new ones have problem with Phone Canvas.
I will wait for some time, may be we will get a new Build with no Problem or get a working Phone Canvas, a Working Taskmanager (x close) and if non there will be a version with MS Dialer.
I use SPB Mobile Shell, and it does not matter which WM6.5 i have on my device!

Runs very nicely with Mobile Shell
Had to add the ephermis data by hand (for TomTom) because QuickGPS isnt installed and
the cab I have is not accepted due to a wrong certificate.
This is not a heavy addon to the rom...so how about adding that ?

I use TOMTOM without any other add-ons and it works perfect!
Quick-GPS is never really needed, i use TOMTOM since many years and have never needed QuickGPS or similar!

For the girls & guys who would like to try Android with HD2, I have found a nice one, that works fine with Elegancia Roms.
The two following Android builds for HD2 runs like a charm with Elegancia Roms.
I wonder if there is even one bug the battery last a day, which is not bad for HD2 Android. And most important voice is clear, and those builds do not screw up the Windows Phone

Device is not responsive/hanging frequently follow these steps*:
Step #1:
1. Connect your device to PC in disk mode.
2. Delete the folders "Appdata", "MSMETADATA" & search for files named "HTCIndex.info" and delete them all.
3. Scan SD card with default tool in windows.
IF step 1 is not working out then continue to step#2,
Step #2 :
Backup the files in memory card & then try formatting the SD card in "FAT32" format with "DEFAULT ALLOCATION SIZE" only.
IF step#1 & Step#2 are not working out then continue to step#3,
Step #3:
1. Try MTTY and then flash the recommended OFFICIAL radio for TMOUS HD2.
2. Flash the custom (elegancia) ROM now.
3. Hardreset after flashing.
Note:
Always try to remove the memory card & SIM or atleast the memory card while flashing.
Insert the memory card after you customize your device.

I'm wondering if we can expect actual increased traffic in this specific development section...? I'm just hoping that with some developers introducing their products to the T-Mobile USA crowd, that we are promised the same frequent updates and attention paid to the EURO users.

Usually Miri disables the My Location in all his ROMs. Hit menu either from the Home or Weather Tab and select Enable My Location and it should work fine.
Loving this rom, been running all day and no soft resets or freeze up or lock ups! Question tho, everytime i go past the media player it loads all the music again, the media player doesn't cache the songs?

Try the following, format the SD card, and add again after formatting all your Music back.

to weather tab/ enable my location...
I just loaded this ROM. Looks nice, like the ebooks tab and the more elegant presentation. A couple of things I've noticed so far are that the slider in the lock screen sometimes freezes and won't allow access until the phone is turned off and I try again and also the program icons on the home screen disappear randomly and re-appear after a while.
I was using this rom yesterday, however, it did not allow me to check email. I always got the "error synchronization - click on settings tab". No matter what I would do it refused to synchronize.
I did not have this problem with the stock rom, or other few roms.
Anyone else have similar problems?
My TMOUS HD2 will arrive tomorrow and I think this will be the first new ROM I flash onto it. I do have a question about the system font though. Is it possible for me to change back to the HTC font? If I can do that and change the clock, I think I have a winner!

this is the 4th rom i've tried on my phone and so far the best out of all. basttery-wise, am still at 53% after a few hours, a few emails and a few text messages and at least an hour of phone calls. installed it with 64% battery.
I cannot find gMaps and IM on the Miri ROM. Any way I can add it?

I would like to present You my first ever cooked ROM for our lovely X1. I spent soo many hours on it, which supposed to be allocated to my girlfriend so I hope you'll love it
Please remember, this is very early version and it hasn't been tested by anyone but me. It is not bug-free! I'm using it from some time and I can assure you that this ROM is versy stable and very fast After softreset (running manila with CHT 1.7.0) RAM usage is around 43-44% (1.0 version)!! I couldn't believe it at first There is no panel support though.

So... I have some good and bad news. Bad first of course. There is no time for me to continue this project so I decided to retire WM was a great platform, but unfortunately it won't be no longer support.
So I'm with the android now, but not even as a developer - rather user
