Is PPCGeeks down for you guys too? Seems for the last 48 hours, it's either database issues, server capacity issues, or just straight up not loading up.
Anyone got the answers as to what's wrong with the site, and what the maintenance upgrades on the forums were supposed to do?
Yes, PPCGeeks is experiencing some issues with the server. We are working on getting it back up and running ASAP.

We are working on applying a fix that JUST MIGHT bring the server back online. I'll let you know if there are any updates.

aaaaand its back up now! Sorry about that. We've got plans for some server reconfiguring and moving some things to other locations. That will surely make the site more stable.

is anyone having probs over there? i cant get in. last time a update came out for the mogul it crashed, Today is the day for the (supposed) new rom update
it has nothing to do with the new rom update. its the same problem as last time, basically ppcgeeks.com is too popular and we keep over loading the server Mike is working on it right now with the server host to get it fixed.

But to summarize, PPCGeeks is back up in a new dedicated server.
Besides PPCGeeks and XDA, there's www.wmexperts.com and www.sprintusers.com, www.pdaphonehome.com, and www.howardforums.com
ppcgeeks is now back. i wonder if that site is so very good.
i never missed it.

Thanks for the links, a few I haven't tried yet.
In case anyone else has a problem, last night I couldn't connect, but noticed that I had changed it in favorites to go to forum2.ppcgeeks.com when they first switched servers. Apparently that was turned off. When I switched to forum.ppcgeeks.com, I connected again.

I got a "502 Bad Gateway" error the first time I tried, but the second time I got through. It seems it must be intermittant, since this very useful site said ppcgeeks.com was up. Apparantly PPCGeeks has been having problems all month, but they've "got plans for some server reconfiguring and moving some things to other locations", so they're working on it​

Okay guys , I am having a serious problem here. I have been going back and forward from Cyanogen's 5.0.4.1 , King's Desire and Paul's. All of a sudden last night my internet on my phone just started acting as if it were on EDGE. Not cool lol. So i waited till this morning , here in Dallas it's 11:30 am , to see what was up and it's doing the same crap . Could someone direct me as to what to do ? Is it the radio ? I have the Latest Radio. Please help someone ?

If it's a ROM issue try posting in that ROM thread. If it's not then try the Q&A.

Try a full system flatten. Wipe, flash. Don't flash the radio unless you have to as a last ditch effort.

What does a speed test read? I'm in Richardson right now and I'm at 550/500 in a crappy building. Still have 3G but it's iffy.

I'm in Plano. And for some reason its back to normal.
first thing i would of done is called t-mobile or who ever your provider is and asked if there was a coverage issue in your area..
yea, i'm in arlington. this morning, i had some really terrible data speeds. it appeared to clear itself up around noon.
all normal now.
Did a *#checkin#* (just for shyts n giggles) now I get an update notification every 5 mins and it's getting very frustrating how do I stop/disable the notification... I am rooted therefore I can not update via the ota..... PLEASE HELP!!!!
I just go ahead let the phone go through the update. It will fail with those no signature message. Just reboot and it stopped bothering me for the update.

I have a suggestion... do the download, before it tries to actually update u shut down the phone, copy the file from the card to your PC, upload it to megaupload and post the link here.

Well if its asking you to update to 2.3.3, then lots of people here are waiting for the files so they can manually update, as Google haven't put them on their developers site to anyones knowledge. Plus people can then get cooking with the files you provide.
So be a dear, upload the files. Please!

You've got to give him some credit... I've never seen some one pretend to get an OTA, that everyone wants, in such a clever way. Normally it's more like this, "YAYY!!!!! I gotz dA OTAs!!!!!!!!!!!!!1111one!!!!11ONE!!!" and then you never hear from them again. If he didn't have over 700 posts I'd almost believe him.

sooo a guy with over 700 posts here doesn't realize that this isn't the g2 forum, somehow gets a g2 update, when I'm almost positive there are none being released currently (or ever for the g2) on the day that the n1 happens to have announced that is coming out and people are foaming at the mouths to get it?
and I'm supposed to feel bad for him reanimating a year old thread from the dead, with a vague non working solution to a problem he prior didn't have?

i think ur problem should be is that the server's https certificate is gone for some reason, so u need to type onepluscommunityserver.com/
u dont need te "S" in the url, for me it works fine without S

It was down for some time but is back up now. Was documenting the unbricking process (got other links from these forums to use as well) and used onepluscommunityserver as one of the good sources, not really too keen to download from any website I don't know. Quite easy to get the OnePlus MSM tools there. Glad to see it is back up now. Really useful site. You sometimes have to dig really deep on these forums to get answers.
