This is a modified build of the original buff Theme many of the old icons have been replaced. There also have been update to further improve the skin. There will be continued work to get this theme fully embedded into the android platform.
I am taking rom requests if you would like to see buuf ported to your rom please.

Supported Roms
Cyanogen Mod

Manup Eclair
The release numbering will be changing now that there is a stable version of buuf. As of version 1.0 buuf will be considered a stable theme. The release versions will work in this manner.
Stable releases will consist of the primary release number and an even second number.
exp... 1.0, 1.2, 1.4 these are all stable theme releases
Experimental releases will consist of a primary release number and an odd second number.
exp... 1.1, 1.3, 1.5 these are all experimental releases and may cause problems.
I am going to extend the the life of the flashable release (Cyanogen Mod only) since some people are still having problem with metamorph. I will continue the flashable release until version 1.5 you will still need to use metamorph to do gmail, talk, vending, youtube images.
How use ddms
What you need
1. You need android sdk installed.
2. You need to have java sdk installed.
3. You need to have adb setup.
4. This should all be setup if you have a rooted phone.
How to use it
1. Navigate to you android sdk > Tools directory
2. double click ddms.bat
3. Make sure you select V or verbose
4. run the application/theme causing the problem
5. when done select a line in the log window
6. go to edit>select all
7. click the icons of the floppy disk and export to txt
8. send it to me or who ever needs it.
Logcat in ddms
1. go to device>run logcat
2. run the app/theme causing problems
3. click the X in the right corner
4. click save then save as <some file>
5. send it to me so I can fix the problem.
Not to hard is it! so someone having a problem with metamorph and a partial theme please send me some logs so I find out what is causing the problem and fix it.
MAKE SURE YOU BACK UP BEFORE YOU INSTALL
If you didn't back up you can attempt to uninstall by reflashing CM MOD which should replace anything this theme changes.
Make a backup IT takes all 5min and you don't have to go though the whole flash procedure again. I recommend making a back up on a fresh flash before you put anything on your phone. Then make a second when you have all of your apps and configurations done all you have to do is rename the nandroid folder.
MD5Sums are your friend check these!! they will tell you if there is a problem with your download. This will stop you from flashing a bad archive and it will also let you know that I was the last one to modify it. They are to keep you safe. There is a link to a windows app to check these below

Buuf Addon Packages
Something New and Fun
I have been playing with some java programing and widgets. Note: (I am far from great programmer if you have any input I am all ears) So I manage to fumble through and get a clock widget working So here it is 2 sizes small and large.

rom manup456 Eclair_2.0.1-v1.0:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=598973
This is an Alpha release that mean little to no testing. Make a backup before using it. This is only known to work on the rom stated you may try it on others but I recommend only installing core packages. There is still work that needs to be done so it may be missing themed peaces here or there if you find any of these and can take a screenshot for me please do. I will fix them.
Custom addons how to
Find the addon thread
Confirm the addon work with your rom
Install or flash the addon depending on how it is installed
Open metamorph
Morph the sub-theme for your addon
Reboot if required (framework requires a reboot)

God damnn!!
My favorite theme of all time is back!! and on Cyans newest ROM???!??!!
YES! Thank you very much Mister!!

nice port over.. and i see youve added some extra fill-in parts to match the original theme...
nice job, im not sure if the creator has quit development, with all of these roms and new OS ports etc and themes evolving with the amount of customization that can be put into it... not sure if he has the time
good job tho,
are you customizing the PowerControl widget as well? - some people use it

Buuf
I am slowly working though, updated a lot of the icons/animation I didn't Like. I will be doing more with the power control widget soon. I just did a quick background skin on it so it somewhat matched the theme. I have been putting of fighting with .9.png that have to be edited to make the widgets. Some are next to impossible to get stretched the right way. There will be more updates to Come.

Please don't forget the Buff themed dialer.

Buuf Dialer
I missed it in the port over I will add it in the next release which will probably later today.

Thanks alot because i cant stand the default dialer its ugly as sin.

WOW
never noticed this theme but WOW. if that custom dialar gets in there today i'll switch over to cm4.1.9999 just for this!
any chance maybe this can get built for xROM 1.5r4?
really effing love the style on this theme.

Porting to Other roms
If there is anyone who can point me in the direction of how to get a custom built rom on the sdk emulator with out building it from source I would think about porting It to other roms.

anyone
anyone get a force close on com.google.gapps after installing this?

force Close
I will get a home force close some times after doing the update but it only happens on first boot. The boots after that I have had no problems. There really shouldn't be any compatibility issue since the apk are ripped right out of Cyanogens zip file. The only changes are to the .png files located with in them. If you continue to have this problem I would suggest doing a fix_permissions on the command line or reinstalling the theme. If this doesn't solve your problem let me know.
note: If you have not checked the md5sum on the zip file please do you can use winmd5sum if you are running windows.
Winmd5sum

What does it do when you try to load it? If you are getting an error please include it so I can try and figure out what the problem is.

Is is possible for you to port this Theme over to Enomther's TheOfficial AOSP-1.6_r1.2 DRC92 (Donut) v2.0.3? (I will probably get crucified for this but...) I don't like to use Cyanogen's experimental builds because of the bugs that I may get during the day and because BFS seems to be fast initially but after a day of not rebooting it gets excruiciatingly slow. Thanks!

found 2 bugs i beleive
first i did a fix_permissions and i still get a com.google.gapps forceclose on boot and then in the menu theres seems to be a ghosting/issue with it where i can see the menu and then an app thats not even being selected, also the transparency is gone as you scroll down and makes it look as if your selecting 2 apps its weird check it out (other than that i think you hit this on the niggin)

I'm so luvin this theme!
The only icon I don't care for is the signal strength meter. Other than that it's my fave!

wen i flash it,it goes 2 the android screen and then it jus turns black aqnd it doesnt load at all

Is there any chance you could send me a screen shot of the bug. You can do this by having usb debugging on and running DDMS. I will look into and see if I can recreated it with a fresh install of cm.

[Theme/Script]Rosie Color Changer For JAC Hero's[v0.7 updated 10/1/09]

Big thanks to Chris Sewell (csewell08) for donating server space. Without him, there would be no OTA script updates or repository. Check him out at wootroot.com!
Thanks also to everyone who has left comments and supported me. You guys are the reason I keep updating!
A while back some of you may remember me starting on creating full rosie themes in various colors. My work slowed for various reasons but one of them was that there was no easy way to create a non-destructive update.zip. Every theme would have to be packaged as a full rom and some data would have to be formatted.
Not Anymore!
I have created a script that will replace parts of the sense/rosie/hero UI with a different color from my currently WIP Rosie Color's theme, and best of all it's easy and non-destructive! No formatting, no update.zip's, no restarting into recovery, just one command.
How To Install
1. Download the appropriate Rosie_Color_Changer_*.zip for your rom version and unzip the contents onto the root of your sdcard. (meaning you should have the folder "rosie_colors" on the root of you're sd)
2. Enter the commands below using either Terminal Emulator/Better Terminal or ADB
Code:
su
mount -o rw,remount /dev/block/mtdblock3 /system
cd /sdcard/rosie_colors
busybox cp rosie.txt /system/bin/rosie
chmod 755 /system/bin/rosie
busybox chown 0:0 /system/bin/rosie
3. Thats all there is to it, just type rosie in the terminal to start the script and follow the directions to change colors. try the command "rosie -r -b" to change the launcher to blue!
Updating From v0.3
Replace the rosie_colors folder with the updated one and then follow the install instructions (versions after 0.4 will be much easier to update)
Updating From v0.4
Replace the rosie_colors folder with the updated one and use the command:
Code:
rosie -u
Updating From v0.5 and higher
Over The Air
Code:
rosie -u -s
Localy
Replace the rosie_colors folder with the updated one and use the command:
Code:
rosie -u -l

I've been thinking the exact same thing
than you script i really like it
Thanks for the good comments everyone.
How would you like to see the framework done and updated?
Incremental and spread through each theme such as working on the status bar section on all colors and releasing a small update then moving on to buttons and so forth.
Or completing the framework entirely for one color and moving on to the next?
And a question for other theme developers:
Would you like to see a download part of this script where users can access, download, and install your themes through a repository?
worked like a charm! love this script! i was getting so tired of the standard grey rosie

would love to see the green status bar and or entire framework will def. b following thys thread
This is awesome. Your right tho, we do need an simpler and more practical way of changing things throughout our Hero roms without breaking the system. Having to release a full Rom theme is the worst. I can't wait to see how this develops. Great work
GREAT WORK! Cant wait till I can use it on Drizzy's hero Rom

Type this into terminal exactly
Code:
cd /sdcard/rosie_colors
if you don't get an error then keep going
Code:
busybox cp rosie.txt /system/bin/rosie
if you don't get an error then try chmod again, if the same thing happens or you get an error on one of the previous commands then post back with your rom version and we can go from there.

Yes, if you have v0.4 you will install the next updates by replacing the rosie_colors folder with the new one, but instead of installing like v0.3 and 0.4, all you will have to do now is enter the command "rosie -u".
In the future I will update the script to where you don't even need to copy over the new folder, it will get everything you need by itself.
nice update and fairly quick keep up the good work
suggestion:mayb put n option in the comman for an empt custom folder so people can put their own framework-res and rosie.apk in the folder then use youre script to push over to their phones mayb -c |--custom
i have successfully changed the white rosie apk with the casper roms apk by replacing it in the rosie_colors/white(folder) and ran through script worked fine

I am scripting something like this, but instead of a custom folder it going to be a repository. The script would work something like this:
Rosie -d (download)
Select Theme Author:
-l -- I am Lugo. -D --Drizzy
-l
Select Theme
-I --ice -n --neon
-I

Please wait for the phone to reboot...
Oh my this is so Awesome!... i really want to try putting red status bar and framework on the white rosie... i think it would look really nice, but i am using drizzy's champion atm. plz (anyone) post the script if u got this working for drizzys roms =) TY Much love for coming up with a much better way of theming the beast!

METAMORPH!: Download Updated 7/28
You guys can say thanks to studjuice for this one!
Metamorph unfortunately doesn't play nice with flashing fonts so you can download the theme font in flashable form HERE!
Flashable Zips:
Froyo 2.2 will work for every phone except HD devices, unless there is a phone specific build below flash Froyo 2.2.
Flashing over CM6 RC2 will not guarantee results.. the newer builds of CM6 don't seem to take well to themes.. some report success others aren't so lucky. There is a full RC2 rom below if you must have RC2.
Froyo 2.2 Release 1.5 *FIXED*
Froyo 2.2 Release 1.0
Nexus One Froyo
Legend Froyo
You can thank Tamimego for the legend version, the zip is based off of Kyosa's Legend CM6 RC1
Problems flashing? try booting into fastboot and clearing the system "fastboot erase system -w" reflash your rom and the theme. This will fix any errors related to not enough system space such as framework not flashing or missing apps after flashing.
Instructions
In order for you to get results like the screenshots above you have to do the following.
Notification Bar: Change the text to white under Cyanogenmod settings in the settings menu.
Dock: Go to launcherpro preferences menu button then preferences go to appearance and change dock to glass.
Dock Notifications: In launcher pro go to preferences, dock dock settings and check the dock notifications.
Weather/News: Just add weather widget and then add the news widget via the widgets menu.
Digital Clock: Open app draw go to digital clock set the background to black and then add the widget 4x1 to home screen.
Wallpaper: Now defaulted is the blue wallpaper, if you want to change it to the black its in your wallpaper gallery.
The icons are from an iPhone/iPod Touch theme Suave

This flashes over any [B][SIZE="3"]Froyo[/SIZE][/B] build 100% confirmed to work!
Comes in a bit bigger at around 18mb but this zip flashes every time!
Now has the latest launcherpro v0.6.7.3 took some work to get this thing themed properly and flashing correctly.
Framework-res.apk has been redesigned a bit also darkened (let me know if I should go back)
Thanks to HUND for the status bar icons.
Now removes ADWLauncher.apk if you have it installed.. simply because certain people were reporting that it stopped launcherpro from working.
[B]Manual Install[/B] for those of you who want to use just a certain part of the theme.
Unfortunately due to a lot of changes that have been made to the theme I will have to release separate updates for 2.1 and 2.2. :(
This update may take a few minutes to boot up for the first time so please be patient!

Power Control Widget mod: Now transparent see above screenshots.. will change blue lines to dots most likely in the near future
Now includes Digital Clock thanks to Maize!
Reworked flashing script: its now flashing each thing individually I'm hoping this allows for it to flash successfully although I'm unsure..
Launcher: Included in the update.zip, not included in Metamorph download [URL="http://www.mediafire.com/?95j32dyd2t9keai"]HERE![/URL] and install manually.
Metamorph should work.. unfortunately the app FC's on my phone so I couldn't test it first hand please let me know how it works I included most of the theme but not the launcher.apk I will continue to update this metamorph along with the flashable zip. Please post feedback and let me know if the metamorph works as it should... its based off the .xml format.
Personal flash tests on MyTouch3G 32B/G1 CM6 RC1/CM5 this flashes properly.. if not for you please post your rom and phone model. Also this may or may not effect it but I do not have any partitions on my SD its all FAT32.

Looks alright, however it doesn't work. It flashes, but doesn't actually copy anything over.
Nothing mean at all,,
But you might want to clean up the .zip,,
You only need the files you actually changed for the theme to work,, Looks like you are trying to move the whole framework and app folder

You only need the files you actually changed for the theme to work,, Looks like you are trying to move the whole framework and app folder

Thank you! I removed everything that was extra.. to be honest I didn't even realize I had half of that stuff sitting in there... I thought 30mb was a bit big for a theme zip lol.
Anyway Test 2 is up and its cleaned up should come in around 12mb.. let me know if you flash it and if its working!

NP Glad I could help
no changes after flashing
Tried to flash on my Desire with OpenDesire 2.0, only got boot-loop.
32a magic - ze theme, they do nothing!
Nothing happened when flashed
I'm looking into the flashing problem, for some its working and for others its clearly not.
I think the problem is every ROM is different in the fact that the devs edit files differently and flashing a .zip that is not specific to that ROM can cause issues. If you want to make a universal theme there are 2 options (3 if you're good with scripts)
1. Make a MetaMorph that just changes images
2. Make an version for every ROM you want to support
3. Make 1 update.zip that has a script to detect which ROM is installed. Downside to 3 is the files size might be pretty big.
If I'm wrong please correct me.

I've posted manual install files for those having trouble for rite now, I am however looking into metamorph options for this theme.
Awesome theme, only the power control widget and music widget need to be transparent as well to match the genie widget.
This theme looks great. But, I just tried to flash it, and it didn't change anything.

I'm hoping tonight I will be posting a much more complete theme, the transparent widgets are on the list of things to get done so check back tomorrow and hopefully it will be done and these flashing issues will be sorted out as well I have some people helping me figure it out.
Should I take out the blue bars or change them to something else to let you know its enabled?

Its somewhat a pre-alpha v.0.0001 version and a dead project. I quickly realized that I didnt have the patience to do an entire theme myself.
And it was just an flashable theme for the VanillaEclair ROM.

[THEME][Perception 9] Zoinks Mixup - Extended Menu, Dark | 12.17.2010

Updates:
11.25.2010 - Added a Stock Perception 4 reverter (Reverterator)
11.29.2010 - Massive rework for Perception 5, removed 1.3
12.17.2010 - Update for Perception 9
Introduction
This is a mashup of several different themes and APK kits. I took what I liked from each, made a few tweaks and ended up with this. The makers of the themes mentioned below get all the credit.
Items in the update:
Extended power choices menu - recovery, download, reboot and themed. Based off of CAP_XWJPA_AOSP_lockscreen_extented_power_menu
Android Scribble Boot Animation - GLa'DOS For Perception 5
Theme Mashup - Various elements pulled from the following
---- Dark_Soul[Doc18]
---- BlackFroyo - Samcrow
---- Darknessv2.3 - Reefermattness
---- (2) Manup456_REVOlution_1.2r1
---- Minimalistic Mod - inku
---- smooth-sense_evo1.0.25
---- and alot from Smooth-REVOlution1.1r2_1.0.1_nopercent
HOSTS file - Ad free Angry Birds (damn pigs stealing my eggs)
Battery Options - There are two choices
BlackBatt (SmoothREVOlution/Manup456) - Try BlackBatt, it uses 100 images like other percent mods. Battery life is better when you don't know the percentage of time left

How long would you consider long? I flashed with CW 10 mins ago and am still getting a blank screen. Suggestions? Ohh and flashing on Perception build 4.
2 min max. Thats too long.
What ROM are you using? Did you have any other customizations installed?
I've installed each of these several times and never had this happen.
Perception build 4. I have tried unsuccessfully to flash anything through the ROM manager app. When I flash it just goes to a blank screen. Im going to try and flash by going into recovery mode and let you know the results.
Thanks
update: flashed through CW recovery mode and it went fine. For some reason I can't flash using the ROM manager app. Anyway great theme. Have you tried to flash the a transition over the theme?
Yeah, don't use ROM Manager. It isn't really necessary with the SetiroN i9000 kernels.
Flashing the transitions from DesignGear's thread over this theme, or others, will revert the taskbar and other items to the theme originally packaged with Perception. You will be left with an ugly hybrid.
The changes are in the framework-res\anim folder (XML) and are easy enough to incorporate. I have a build with the bounce method running right now, but it is a bit off-putting. Not sure I like it.
I have a android.policy.jar that enables TapLock for Perception as well. I will be integrating it in the next version. The lock screen will look just like the one in the Doc's ROM images above.
Awesome I really like the taplock better. when should we be expecting the next version, and will we be able to just flash over the current theme?
I'll up it now. I'm dorking around with SetiroN i9000 1.4 kernel, so I won't do much more with it until after the holiday.
It will have the Taplock and Flyin' animations.
How do you uninstall?
Looks great though!

Like the theme and plan on using it. The only change I would like to see is make the notification bar background a little more opaque.

Restore your backup from step 4.
I'm not sure it is customary to include method to revert, but I can work this out later.
If you ignored the red-highlighted step (wink-wink), uninstall Launcher Pro and try plasticdarlow's stock revert. You can delete the bootanimation.zip from system/media to get the creepy eyeball boot screen back. That will leave the HOSTS file which you can revert or leave alone.

You read my mind. I darkened it quite a bit, but the transparency makes it hard to read if the screen underneath is busy. I'll update it in the next revision.
Which battery are you guys using? Part of the reason I made this was to get the BlackBatt back. I loved it when I had an EVO and I haven't seen the detailed version in any other Captivate themes. It seems that the general public likes the circle batt's, so I added it.

Just flashed it and it is attractive. Thanks!
So I don't know whats going on and why I can't apply themes at all. I open Rom Manager and press Reboot into Recovery, which of course reboots me into CWM. I go through the options to find the zip file and click apply it. It says applying theme, but thats it then goes back to the normal menu and I do reboot and nothing...
Its not just this theme though, I have tried Dark Soul and others.. So something is going on with my phone. Am I doing everything correct?
EDIT.. Thats what I was doing wrong. I was using ROM manager to reboot into Clockwork Mod instead of just using the powerbutton option of reboot into Recovery.. Completely different menu when I do that and that worked.
Where do I get this Taplock everyone is talking about?
And what is the difference between Taplock and ASOP?

General Info
I do not have a Nexus S to test this on, so I would appreciate it if someone could a.) alert me, preferably on twitter, when a new build is made, and b.) let me know if the theme I post here works.
This theme is extensive with over 2000 edited .png files and more than 35 .xml files.
There are no icons included with this theme. If you would like icons, then you can use ADW.Launcher or ADW EX download Minimalist - ADW Theme.
If you would like to donate to me for my work in this theme, then you can download the Donate version of the above mentioned theme. Search for "Minimalist Donate - ADW Theme" to find it.
If you would like to port this theme to any other device or use any part of it for your own doing, then you can download my images and edited .xml files from this post.
You do not have to ask me if you can port this or use any part of it. You do not have to credit me for any of my work in this theme.
I will not be checking this page frequently, but I will try to answer any questions posted here whenever I update the links. If you want a quicker answer, then I suggest saying something to me on Twitter (@david1171_).
This theme is for the official CM7 Nightly ROMs.
Theme Info
The widgets are transparent with white text. I recommend using a dark wallpaper.
The font included in the theme is the Ubuntu font.
If you are using Amon_RA's recovery and the theme is not applying after flashing, then you need to use clockwork recovery.

Take the LatinIME.apk from /system/app/ of the Nightly build you are using and push/place in /system/app/ on your phone.
Code:
adb remount
adb shell stop
adb push LatinIME.apk /system/app/LatinIME.apk
adb shell reboot
or you can place it there with a file explorer with root access, but I recommend the above method as you stop your phone, so you shouldn't have to worry about any unnecessary force closes.

Added Morph to OP for lockscreen icons for those that do not like completely transparent lockscreen. Please read the instructions and do exactly as they say.
Edit1: Also, I believe with the next release, I am going to restructure the way the links are set up in the OP. As it stands right now, it is an ineffective model that takes up a lot of unnecessary space. As anyone who follows me on twitter knows, when I mention my updates on there, I just link to a folder on media that contains folders of each supported device, then in that folder are the theme files for each device. If I go to just having a link to that main folder containing all the sub folders like I do on twitter, then I do not have to go about updating the links in 9 different threads with each release, and I do not have a space for old download files, since they can be gotten from the same place as the current download file. I think this method will make for a less cluttered OP, and save time overall.
Updated to cm_crespo_full-27.zip.

[Theme][MetaMorph] Minimal White (1/29/11)

Theme created to be used by MetaMorph, please don't try to flash the file. The .zip is attached to the post.
(TL;DR)
I was trying to make a minimalistic theme for my phone without modding anything, but those green Gingerbread icons were cramping my style. So I went and made these simple manual modifications for just myself, because, surprisingly, I found them nowhere else online, so I'm releasing them packaged so they can be applied using MetaMorph.
I realize that the world does not in fact revolve around me, and that you guys use different applications/do different things, so that's why I intend to keep this "updated". Please request any icons and I will make them and add them in updates.
(/TL;DR)
(READ, YOUR LIFE DEPENDS ON IT)
I've only used this package on Serendipity 4.3, but the icon files should be universal, however I will not make any promises. If you're brave enough, please test this on your phone and get back to me. I'll keep a list of compatible phones in the second post as well.
Also note that the LauncherPro dock and icons are not currently packaged with this theme. When I get to it (sometime later today/tomorrow), I will upload another zip with anything necessary for LauncherPro.
Same goes for my lockscreen. I'm using a modded WidgetLocker, and I will upload the files sometime later today or tomorrow, but I will not upload the APK, as it's a paid app.
I'll write up a tutorial on how to mod WidgetLocker in the third post.

Tutorials
When you download the file, unzip it. It is not the MetaMorph zip, but it has the MetaMorph zip inside of it (MetaMorph zip folder).
Steps to do things:
Install font
Install MinimalisticText Widget
Install/customize LauncherPro
Install/customize WidgetLocker
Apply MetaMorph Theme
1. Install Font
The font.zip file is included in the Extras folder. Copy that to the root of your SD card any way you want...
1. ADB (Assuming you're on Unix based OS, if not, replace commands as necessary)
1. $ cd ~/[font.zip directory]/
2. $ adb push font.zip /sdcard/font.zip2. Mount SD Card to Computer
1. Make sure USB Debugging is enabled. If not, 'Settings' > 'Applications' > 'Development' > 'USB debugging'
2. Right click/copy font.zip to root of the phone's internal SD card. After font.zip is on your phone, boot into Clockwork Recovery and apply the zip file. Once that's done, reboot. Your font should be changed.
2. Install MinimalisticText Widget
This one is easy. Go to the Market and download MinimalisticText. Then create the widgets that I have using it. I will not walk you through how to create widgets with MinimalisticText, as it's too complicated to type up. Trust me, you'll figure it out.
3. Install/customize LauncherPro
If you do not already have LauncherPro installed, please do so now...
Once installed, put the LauncherPro dock and launcher icons inside of the DCIM folder on your internal SD card. You may also put the provided wallpaper there if you'd like to use it.
Editing the dock image:
On the home screen, press 'Preferences', then 'Appearance Settings'. 'Dock background' is the first option; select it.
Select 'Custom' and find the custom dock image. That's it!Assigning custom launcher icons:
Long press the space on the dock that you would like to change. Then select 'Change shortcut' and change it to what action you would like completed. Then select 'Change icon', and select 'Custom icon'. Browse to the icon you'd like to use and select it. Your done!
PS: To make the arrow on the left open the app drawer, long press it and press 'Change shortcut' and select 'App Drawer'.
4. Install/customize WidgetLocker
This is a bit more in-depth. There's a perfect tutorial in this thread. The only thing that you must do is after you compile and sign the APK, uninstall WidgetLocker from your phone, then instead of putting 'com.teslacoilsw.widgetlocker-1.apk' in the /data/app/ folder, put it into /system/app. Otherwise, if you reboot your phone, it will disappear.
5. Apply MetaMorph Theme
This one should be a given. Download and install MetaMorph, push the 'minimal-white.zip' to /sdcard/AndroidThemes, open MetaMorph and select the zip file as a new theme, then apply it. Be sure to apply framework-res.apk last! otherwise your phone may not install the other mods.
More to come soon, probably

everytime i use metamorph something happens and i get put into a bootloop. i've given up on metamorph and start theming my own via 7-zip and root explorer.
Any word on the newer serendipity versions? I have this theme running on 4.3 like you stated in the first post and I love it, but I'm going to update to 5.7 and would like to know if anyone has tried it

Sorry I stopped/never did really update this; I don't really have the time.
But to answer your question: yes! It should work on any Serendipity versions. I'm not currently running the theme, and have lost interest in using it, so I'm not going to flash it over my Serendipity 5.7.
Anyway, one thing that may help you realize that this will work: unlike CWM themes, this one only replaces/adds files that are going to be changed. If the file isn't changed, then it will not replace it. By that, I don't mean that it will replace framework-res.apk. I mean that it will only replace the files inside framework-res.apk, so if there's anything that Mikey added (for example, the rotary lockscreen), it won't be touched. Only the themed icons will be changed. Hope that makes sense
dowloading this theme!!! looks sick
screenshots are broken.
Alright thanks man. I tried it on serendipity 5.7 and its working just as it did on 4.3, and looks just as cool. Since it looks like your pictures on the first page arent working, here's what the status bar looks like, which is the only file I flashed, for anyone interested. Goes great with all the white on my homescreen.
