If you mean the FM radio, yes its stock & working on my Imagio. Just needs head phones for an antenna.
I love how the box and info sheet read; FM Radio (Optional Accessory)
The "optional accessory" is any 3.5mm headphones (for the antenna).
Mine works great. I get more stations on the phone than I do on my home stereo.

In the diamond I have now tested and active radio stations even caught but was not heard by the speaker is something that needs to be altered more in the diamond. Some who controls to see if it knows what to play.

Maybe you can force the radio application to work without headphones but since the headphones are the FM antenna reception could be very poor.
i have a tiny adaptor i got from ebay which changes the mini usb to standard 3.5mm headphone jack.
since just having the adaptor in the phone without headphones plugged into the adaptor makes the diamond think theres a headset attached, i tried to open the FM radio and it would open (does not ask you to insert headset) but cannot pick up any stations as the headphones are the antenna!
so really your request is pointess as if you could get the FM radio to open without headphones plugged in, you wouldnt be able to listen to anything!

You would need a piece of hardware, not just software to do this.
You could get a headphone adapter and an FM Transmitter from an electronics store, just like you would with an iPod or whatever though.
If you could control the GSM radio, you could certainly get a beat going...
Not exactly what I would call music though.
If you have cupcake, you can use A2DP bluetooth. I just bought this on eBay.

The FM radio is built-in. It uses the plug-in headset as the antenna.
I was surprised, it worked pretty good.

The wire *is* the antenna. But my bt headset has a radio built-in so I don't mind either way.
Fyi, try launching the radio App without a headset plugged in and you'll get your answer.

I would assume you can. I received a sony NFC/bluetooth speaker with my phone as a gift from the Telco, and the fm radio will play through that (tough it's not allways simple to get it working - it can be pretty tempermental.) It seems to take preference of conencted bluetooth devices to output the sound to when you have selected audio out to be the headset.
Hello, I ordered the device and I should receive next week (i live in Italy, I will receive from UK).
I have just few questions:
1 ) Does the Fm radio has the RDS? Can it be used without headphone? Can be listened through the speakers?
2) Can the 3rd part applications write on the Sd card? I use the app "A better camera", can it store the photos in the Sd or it can by done by the stock application only?
3) Does it support OTG and HDMI?
To question number 3, yes, it does support OTG. I have connected a controller, keyboard, mouse as well as flash drives
No, it can't be used without headphones and you can only listen through the headphones.
If you root it you can install Spirit FM and listen through the speakers, but you'll still need the headphones plugged in as an antena.

After the latest update the Motorola FM Radio app can now play through speakers and bluetooth.
You still need the headphones to act as antenna.
