Listining radio with Bluetooth headset? - Touch Diamond, MDA Compact IV General

A lot of weeks I have a problem, where I can't find an answer for.
A few weeks ago I bought the Sennheiser MM200 Bluetooth stereo headset. This set has an great sound quality, so I'm very happy with this headset.
I hoped that it would be possible to uses this Sennheiser headset in combination with the radio on my HTC TD. But unfortunately I haven't find an answer yet, or it's possible or not to listening radio with a Bluetooth headset on the HTC TD.
So is there anyone knows there is a workaround to let work the radio with a Bluetooth headset?
Tanks.

You cant as the wired headset is the antenna

And do you know or it's possible to use the wired headset only for the radio signal, and use my Bluetooth headset for the sound?

I have been trying to find out how to do just this.
I ride a motorbike, and have a bluetooth crash helmet with buit in speakers / mike which works a treat for answering and making calls and indeed listening to TomTom navigation instructions from my HTC Topaz.
However, I have yet found a solution to allow me to listen to the radio via bluetooth. As you have also discovered, the headset acts as an antena but then diconects the sound from the bluetooth headset when connected. I figure that there must be a way to program the phone to use the blutooth headset as the default "speaker" and the plug in headset as only the antena.
I will repost this thread in the Topaz forum too to see if anyone has a solution.
One partial solution that I have discovered is streaming radio via an internet connection. This works, although the connection stream is not always the best and of course there is a data "overhead charge" involved.

no it's not possible to have both a wired headset connected an a bluetooth
even if the wires headset is only acting as antenna

As long as your "Car Stereo" has bluetooth and you connect to it as you would to a head set or anything else really.. I have a Sony MEX-BT2500 and pair my phone with the radio with no problems and then anything that plays or any sounds on my HTC will go through the stereo.
So really there is no other software needed on the Kaiser, just need a bluetooth enabled car stereo.
Hope this is what your talking about..
I dont have a BT stereo however I do have a Parrott CK3100 connected to my stock BMW stereo, can I play music through that?
You can, but because it isn't a2dp, it wouldn't be stereo. It probably wont sound all that well, either. I have a Premier FH-800BT head unit and that works wonders, especially if you need a double-din radio to replace stock. Might want to look into something along those lines if you want quality audio from your BT phone. The 3100 is probably just bit too old to be what you would like it to be.
Hope that helps,
Colin

Using BT headset as headphones -- possible?

Hi guys,
I googled, I searched XDA for 5 minutes, but I couldn't find an answer.
I used to be able to use my bluetooth headset to listen to music/sound from my Axim X51v. I have a Plantronics 520 BT headset. Unfortunately, I don't see any other services other than "headset" in BT profile.
Is there any way to do this on the Xperia X1 (be able to listen to sounds/music from the Xperia).
Thanks
by default this just works with A2DP headsets.
however ... search for "BTASP". thats a Audio gateway which routes ALL sound to the bluetooth headset. this is the only one that worked for me on my xperia.

Wow, thanks. I'll give this a try. I can't believe I didn't find that in my searching!
EDIT: I just finished trying it out. It works. Sound quality is mediocre, but hell, it's better for nothing
took me some search attempts too. "bluetooth headset redirect sound" brought me to my goal ^^

Sound/ Navigation instructions through bluetooth headset

I got a bluetooth headset for in the car.
Now I want to hear the instructions from my navigation and other sounds on my X1 through my headset. TomTom navigator 7 doesn't have this option. So anyone knows a good free app?
i havent tried it but im pretty sure that it works. ill try it latter if i can find my bluetooth headset.
yeah it works. x1a, tt 7.910, jabra bt3030 head set
Can you tell me how you got it to work? Because i can't find any options in tomtom 7.915
it should do it automaticaly when you pair up your bluetooth headset. my headset is both wireless stereo and hands free compatable.

You need to have a headset that is wireless stereo compatible... same as having a wired headset plugged in.

Blutooth and Radio. HELP!!

I am the happy owner of a HTC Topaz.
I ride a motorbike, and have recently bought a bluetooth crash helmet with built in speakers / mic which works a treat for answering and making calls and also for listening to TomTom navigation instructions from my HTC Topaz.
However, I have yet found a solution to allow me to listen to the built in radio via bluetooth. Because HTC requires the plug-in headset to act as an antena the radio doesnt work without it.
However when I plug in the headset, i get instant radio reception but then the sound is routed to the plug-in headset , rather thean the bluetooth speakers.
My logic tells me that there must be some way to use the plug in headset as ONLY an antena allowing the sound to be routed by deafault to the bluetooth headset. Surely this is software driven?
I am not a software Guru, but keen to learn and frustrated that there doesnt seem to be a yet obvious solution to this problem.
Any help would be appreciated.

[Q] Galaxy S plays music via blutooth

Hi guys,
I've just bought a new common Jabra blutooth and it works well on call, but I really want to know if there is a way to play music via my blutooth. I found that iPhone is able to play music via blutooth by jailbreaking, but I just can't get any helps from google and etc...
If somebody here knows the way, please tell me. Thanks a lot.
which model of Jabra did you buy?
only the Stereo version of Jabra will support A2DP and AVRP from Bluetooth to play audio, and remote control
working perfectly fine with my Jabra BT8010 and car stereo CZ509

It's BT125 sth...not sure, but it's cheap though. Anyway, I believe it can be used to play music
ya that headset doesn't support a2dp so i don't think its going to work.
I've got the Jabra BT620s - had them for a few years now, works great on the SGS, it supports A2DP & AVRP, when a call come in the phone pauses the music and the headphones switch to headset mode (ie phone mode).
Now the HTC had issues, some ROM worked Stereo, some worked headset, but I never had one which did both
