I want BIG buttons!

I have searched this site and others for an extra large dial pad for my 8525 and always come up with "larger than stock" buttons, but nothing dramatic. I have also seen multiple requests for what I am looking for and I cannot find anything similar.
When I search for dialpad large, big dial pad etc I usually come across something like this:

Hmm...maybe. I will try this out. I haven't seen it before.

hm, the comments in the thread are not so good..
haven't tested myself (i do not like the gui-interface), just saw the screenshot...

Looked good and powerful until I found there's no data plans or only 800 minutes top!

I use it and am happy with it. I really like the BIG buttons, and after some research, that was my best option... Well, there aren't that many after all!

Which version do you use ?

Exactly...not that many options. I wonder why no one has come up with a large keypad. When you are driving the last thing you need to do is concentrate on hitting some litttle square. Just because the pad is BIG doesn't mean any coolness factor is missing. All functinality could still be there, just not taking so much realestate.

Screenshot in post 1, it changes the the tab icons to the jordan shoes. both big(when scrolling) and small (when set still).
TF3D2: IDK I Would assume yes but im not 100% sure because i don't have tf3d2. although i am currently working at getting it to work with regular tf3d.

Ah, for some reason I read this and thought it was an entire tab dedicated to Jordan Shoes and I couldn't figure out what that would do. My apologies, now that it is all cleared up.
Great work, although perhaps it is just me but I would never be able to figure out what each tab meant XD
As for your screenshot, you linked to an attachment on PPC Geeks, which really does not work too well. As only people who are currently logged into PPC Geeks can see it.
(Which is why you can see it and why I couldn't until I found the link and logged into PPC Geeks)

[IDEA] Facebook Widget [Screenshots]

i think the title speaks for itself to be honest but basically i find Twidget so useful for keeping up to date with Twitter so i would like to know if a dev out there is interested in making a very similer widget for the Facebook news feed allowing you to view the last 20 items or so and commenting or 'liking' your friends posts.
im willing to donate and even put my hands onto Photoshop if required ,though my skills are rather mediocre
so who's interested?

Would actually be nice to have a Facebook Widget considering there isn't a native Facebook Application that works well. Would be nice to have a Digg one too
But yeah with Facebook it would be nice to have something akin to Twidget, long as its all secure.

Yup I think this is defiantly needed, the hard thing is doing it in a small place. I mean it'd be nice to have one like the twitter widget on Hero but this would be hard for most users with 3 home screens. And as Neo said we still do need a facebook application that runs smooth also as this hasn't really been addressed yet. I'm hoping you find a developer that will hop on board with this.

im hoping so too, i think it would be a great addition to anyones home screen and especially if it was in the style of Twidget which only takes up 1x4 spaces of home screen real estate and displaying the latest update and then opening up to a larger app when pressed.
widgets are our friends and also our biggest kick in the face to iphone users, a full customisable desktop is one of the things that makes Android so great!

Is there a way to get rid of the top and bottom bar, to show wallpaper behind it,....... seen below!!

EDIT: I figured it out. Also had to do a bit of work on the actual Pic, still have that pesky line under task-bar though,... WTF!!! lol

Well there have been hacks to get rid of the bottom softkey row but it gets rid of it in all apps which starts a no-no.
Another method would be to use homescreens that are full screen... kinda like the ones you have to launch (basically an app). You don't really get rid of the bars, just have a program covering them up.
Another method, which I used to use, is to skin the bars with the same image so it appears they're gone, with just the background and icons and softkey text. It actually works well. Of course you need WM6.5 that allows skinning.
Other methods include "desktop" replacements like WAD and such. They basically skin the bars to your liking and works with older windows mobile OS's

Thanks Player911 for the advice. BTW, i am using WM6.5, so what would you suggest as best.
Please keep in mind i am running the Gen.Y Manila "Revolution" R1.5 VGA Port CFC with the Panaramic background.

Hola, you could either try to convince Poyensa or Meltwater to try to do it...
For e-mail I really see no need since you have exactly that in WinMo if you go to your inbox as well as for sms - but asking doesn´t hurt nor cost. As mentioned, you could check with Poyensa or Meltwater in order to use either the RSS Widget for CHT or one of Meltwaters Tabs (rss or facebook) to display the "feeds" from WinMo (e-mail or sms) in their widgets/tabs
