Any problems fitting the dual Sim into the HD2?
I would prefer the option of using the full size SIM cards in an adaptor if possible instead of cutting them down

No for me no problems.
This adapter can also UMTS.
GSM adapter is also available, where you must not cut the SIM.
I hope my bad English is understandable ...

Anyone know if this will work with any of the Irish networks? I tried a similar card a few months ago on Meteor and 3 Ireland but none of my Irish Sims worked but all my Dutch ones did though (Vodafone,T-Mobile)

the only issue with Hypercard 3G, is that u need to cutdown ur SIM

how does it work?
Hello,
can someone explain to me how this works?
can I get calls on both numbers?
witch of the two is the active one and the one I call from?
Or is it a soft switch so that I can only use one sim at the time?
Sorry for the questions but I could not find the answers...

Well, it supports HSDPA but I have a problem switching between SIMs.
As soon as I choose the second SIM in the Hypercard menu, the "select" button (left softkey) disappears.

Hi,

I used Simore for a previous phone. I will NEVER buy anything from them again. The adapter didn't work and when their tech support ran out of ideas (and when I asked for a refund) they just ignored me after that.
Disgusting customer service!

Cudo, (sorry maybe a noob question) I have the AT&T tilt with the unlimited data plan and 3G icon is on all the time not the small 3g over the signal meter. In USA it is great, however I travel to Europe 2 weeks per month and carry two phones. I read all the links and still have a question - on the kaiser which dual sim device you are using and is it fully compatible with the 3G data in USA. Thanks
http://www.mobileguru.co.uk/Dual SIM.html that is the one im using but as im uk i cannot be sure about its compatibility in usa. it works perfect for me in uk. it support both 2G and 3G/3.5G. i would assume you will have no problems either in europe or usa while using this dual card holder and be sure to trim your sims correctly as i have had some problems doing it and ended up with around 5 attempts before i got it right

For me, this today plug-in does not work on Kaiser (T-Mobile Vario III).
Worked great on HTC P3600 (Trinity). The only way I change my network is through Com Manager (Flight mode on/off).
I have also trimmed both of my original cards and I use a non-digital dual sim adaptor. The digital adaptors drain the battery.
Which phone and rom do you have? How come it works in your case? Is it a rom issue?
Thanks
any updates on this?
Is there a working dual sim method and a today cab for the kaiser?
thnx
Yea, no way to make my dual sim work on my kaiser...
It worked on my TyTN, my Artemis, but not on my kaiser, and with every rom I tried (Original HTC, Dutty, Thuffir...) waaaaaaaaaa !

it was however unclear whether it can support both GSM 3G SIM cards, I have read several posting over the past 2 hours and some postings claimed that:
... it only works in both 2G SIM cards
... it supports 3G n' 2G, but u need to disable the feature)
there is no concrete answer yet, anyone care to post test results?
Thx n' Rgrs,
Hi -- this is all pretty new to me, so be gentle... Let's say that I install a dual/twin sim holder and then plug-in 2 sim cards, each with their own phone number (let's call them PN1 and PN2). If I have PN1 active, will I hear, and be able to answer, a call on PN2, and vice versa?
I had the same question. I bet on most phones, only one sim is active at a time. But I googled and found this:

Dual Sim

Anyone is using a dual sim with the Diamond? I have seem a couple of dual sim cards that it´s supose to work in Diamond but I am not really sure... anybody knows a model which works right on Htc Diamond?
Hi. I've been using a dual sim on my previous WM phones with no problem. Will try it on Diamond in a few days when I get back home, and will let you know. If you don't hear anything by Wednesday - Thursday, pls PM to remind me.
I have also used a very nice prog for changing swaping between the 2 cards on the Today screen, but I guess that if you use the HTC today, will not be able to use that one, and you would have to go through Start\Programs.
Hi, I'm using SIMore Black 1 in my Diamond. It's working well, but do not expect use 3G or HSDPA.
SIMore is compatible with 3G phone, but doesn't work if you use 3G, you only can access to GSM band...
I contact the support, and they let me know that I've been screwed... They do not garanty 3G use...
I have an analog dual sim adapter inside my o2 xda diamond and it works perfectly. My girlfriend has the same one in an htc diamond and it's working there too. Never had any problems with it. HSDPA/HSUPA working just fine. I believe it's a MagicSim 1st generation adapter.

Ok thanks I'm gonna look for this on google.
@Smaniac : it doesn't work on any SIM. In fact, if I let the settings in Phone\Band on auto, no way to get network on both sims. The only way to get it work is to set it on GSM, and then no 3G or HSDPA...
EDIT : I'm in France, using Orange and SFR Sims.
Thanks all
christis, ok I will wait for your answer
chineseseleper, can you check and tell us exactly the model? I have read in other forums people who say that MagicSim doesn´t work in Diamond. The MagicSim you can find at this moment I think is 20th

this is interesting! dual-sim-cards!
so how does this work, I checked out the magicsim website, it's not really clear there..
so, is it possible to recieve calls from 2 different sim cards without switching around?
all new apdapter don't work. you need the oldest ones, the analog ones. they don't interfere with the sim card. i don't know where to check which model i have, but i believe its 1st gen.

Sorry for being late in replying. I messed up my main sim during cutting, and although it works on it's recovery adaptor, it doesn't work on the dual sim. it is 100% sim problem. Otherwise, the dual sim adaptor (2nd generation) worked perfectly in my previous WM phone (asus P526).
I will try to change my main card and check the diamond, with the software I mentioned before, on the today screen (the one that the card installs in Start\Programs, shouldn't have any problem.
Anyone got any new info so as if v6.0 of SIMore Black works with 3g/HSDPA???
I don't know if it can be of any help http://es.youtube.com/results?search_query=htc+diamond+simore&search_type=&aq=f
All I've seen so far is that dual sim works on 3G phones, but I've never seen the 3G band in action. Every demo is GPRS/EDGE only.
So the question still stands, does the dual sim adaptors give me access to the 3G band?

HTC Diamond (Chinese)

Okay so i bought a Chinese HTC Diamond in China.
It looks exactly like the original one and the only difference is that it doesnt have WIFI and some other features like the camera has worse quality (2mp).
I tried using my T-Mobile (USA) Sim Card but the phone isn't connecting to the network. This phone is Triband (900/1800/1900) and works in GSM, GPRS and EDGE networks.
It is technically "unlocked" but i'm not really sure.
Anyone know what could be the problem?
Should I update the ROM to quadband to solve this?
Thank you in advance!
r u sure that one is not a fake diamond?
It is a fake diamond.... but a high quality copy, it works exactly like the original one. It was really cheap compared to it's features.
I'm just asking how can i make it work in the USA? It is triband and it should work with my tmobile sim card.

Usually what the spec says does not mean it actually has them, often total BS.
Don't expect too much, get a real diamond.

Yeah okay, if you're all gonna say that you're not helping me.
What it's done, it's done.
I can't afford a real diamond so i got this one really cheap and its actually a really good phone. And i checked the radio and it says "GSM 900/1800" and "PCS1900" so it has to be minimum dual-band, and i believe T-Mobile should work with it.
So if anyone knows about any update for this phone that could get it to work, please tell me. For now i will just check if it works with AT&T sim card or other carriers.
Thanks.
I don't thinks update with some ROM is possible It's not a Diamond but a simil-Diamond!!!

I can always try, if i unlocked the 850 gsm band it would work with in the US.
The problem could be that it is only dual band (Europe) instead of triband?
So ill just call tmobile today and see what happens.

Well, I'm a Chinese, and I'm using a HTC Touch Diamond.I'm sure that you've got a fake one, which is well known to our Chinese as a name of Shanzhai(zh sounds like dr),the name means it is made in small or OEM factory, but usually, Shanzhai cell has a lot of function(such as extraordinary standby ability etc.)
Lot of Functions and stability but Diamond's ROMs and Radios aren't compatible ^^ so thazeid don't solve his problems with Diamond SW

How has the Tab S2 (SM-T715Y) working out on T-Mobile?

Hello all,
I've read up on how some have bought the Tab S2 SM-T715Y and used a Tmobile nano sim. I have a tablet/data plan and want to replace my iPad with the S2 8".
Has it been working well? What kind of speeds are you all getting? Does the text messages function work like a normal cellphone?
Thanks!
it is narrow time!
1) does it charge slowly even if powered down? your answer could acquit the root;
2) the cyanogen ROM has a root toggle; if
3) if you have #2 then go to #1;
the above is not the final solution; it rather avoids delays and provides a clearer picture of the problem...

Xiaomi Mi5 GSM issues. (Resolved)

Resolved: Wouldn't connect to T-Mobile networks, connected fine to AT&T. Guessing it was band limitations. (Should have checked bands.)
Here in California, USA and can't seem to even connect to the 2G/3G services on T-Mobiles networks. Popped in my SIM card last night and got a MetroPCS banner for about a second. Haven't been able to get it to work since. Always no bars, no service. Any tips?
Here's a screenshot of my lack of signal. I seem to get signal for a second, then it just disconnects. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
I bought new xiaomi m5 and straight away got problem with the touchscreen. If anybody had similar problem, will go to the shop to see what they say anyway.

I always get emergency calls only, it reads that there is a SIM card inserted for both slot 1 & 2 plus it reads the phone number of the card AND even contacts on the card but doesn't connect to the network. :/
is that some Quality Assurance issues or a general problem?
Also getting issues with signal, weaker than any other of phones , sometimes drops call, or caller hear me with pause, ( i'm techinician, repairing phones, having a lot of tests), i'm in EU. Because lack of band 20 4g+ isn't working here i think. Overall a lot of people got defective units. Mine also have loudspeaker problems, tryed to calibrate via service menu, still the same.
