it IS damn!!! fast!!!!!!... calls come in faster. i still recommend turning off vibrate on ring when not necessary to have on.

I just had a question on were to put the hero.user.conf file. Do you just put it in the conf folder on root, or somewhere else.

yea put it in your conf folder, make sure you backup what you have. although im sure you wont be switching back
It runs veeery slow during the first boot setup and it looks like the phone isn't sleeping Other than that, I really like it!

are you using the files i posted, and is this running from your nand or from haret?
I'm using the files that you posted from nand. The phone locked up and I just reset it and now it sleeps! Score! I did notice that there are duplicate music and spare part icons and that the camera force closes. I still can't believe how fast this is!

camera works just not the default camera app(which has never worked in hero builds btw) though get fxcamera from the market

yea its a little bit harder with hero but it is possible you just have to work with it ya know

I just get android_power: wakeup when i boot it, any ideas what I may have done wrong?
very nice build, very quick, good work , im wondering if u know which part of the hero/donut/cupcake system controls the notification settings and can we back port that part from eclair so we dont have the notification message not sent bug?

sounds like a corrupt download... i would try downloading again. and/or run a adb logcat while it is booting if you could

Am screwed up...I have just installed this graphics driver on my HTC TOUCH HD. I dont know what i was thinking and now my phone is stuck on the boot screen.

did you try a hard reset

i have just reflashed and now phone restarts with good screen but then revert back to like vga mode.

this i what i meant
Now the phone freezes repeatedly...and it reset itself but after reseting itself, if i switch it to sleep and then on again the screen returns to normal resolution. but its still freezes and I have to take the battery out eventually.
I have got davideuck v6.1 on it now and its so slow when it works before freezing again.

I initially had david rom v4 when this happened, so i flashed version 6. the screenshot i posted are of version 6 but as am typing this am flashing back to v4.
Okay, if you have flashed V4 back, do a hardreset after flashing. if that does not work either i'm afraid i'm out of options. You could try to install the drivers again to see what happens. Otherwise you should wait for someone who knows something else to try?

its restarting now and all seem to be okay for now... if there is anything again, i ll get back to you guys.

One more thing if anyone can help, there was a cab file that allow you to use a background for all tabs, dont know if anyone can point me in that direction.

sORRY for the late reply...I put the phone in boot loader mode by pressing the down button and pressing the power button. then you can plug the usb cable then you can run the customrru.exe upgrade file.
ok guys, first off, I'm glad you (saayinla) got your issue sorted. But try and keep this thread on topic, i.e. phone stuck in boot screen etc. If this thread starts turning into a Q&A with all sorts of issues and people asking new questions after original question answered I'll close thread.

Just out of curiosity did you HSPLed you devide with the last version of HSPL? I've seen this screen once and it was because of old HSPL with 1.56/1.57 ROM used!
No i did not, i still have the HArdspl thats been on since january..Olinex something cant rememeber what versio...
So I have been working on this one for a lil bit and decided to share my progress. I have used the Open Zio theme by Spz0 to help me along, I have made a lot of graphical changes and left everything else as it was, b/c lets be honest if it aint broke dont fix it. lol I will continue to work on this and try to do more with it, hopefully I will have a 2.0 release within the next month or so that will include a lot of cool surprises. Here are some screen shots and the boot animation. I have also included some wallpaper replacements in the update.zip folder. If you want to use them just push them to /data/Flex and overwrite the wallpaper and thumbnail folders. (make sure to back up the stock ones)

I had this happen as well and I dont know why. I took the wallpaper and thumbnail folders out of data/FLEX in the Theme zip and all went fine after words. I am looking into it. I just hate having to restore back to stock 2.2 and reloading everything. I will report back in a few days.

So, is this a theme for the OpenZIO rom only, or can I use it on the stock rom as well?
I ask this because after installing it, my phone crashed. Everything and their mothers force closed. I tried deleting the wallpaper and thumbnail folders, but that did not help me at all.
Oh yes, if it matters, it's a Cricket, with the stock 2.2 OS (rooted).
(Also, I hate red, but I loved the intro screen, so I went through and changed it to blue instead, which, due to the Gimp's indexing, actually made the files ~4.2KB smaller, each - but since the theme crashes my phone, I haven't actually tried installing the blue version yet.)
Any theme can definitely NOT be applied to my OpenZio ROM, or a stock rom.
If the framework is pulled from a stock ROM, it will only work on a stock ROM. If it has been pulled from my OpenZio ROM, it'll only work on my ROM.
This may be something you wish to clarify in your initial post fate43.
List it as a theme for Stock ROMs or for OpenZio ROM.

Pretty good looking idea, I haven't tried it though. Is there a a way to rework it so you don't have to make build.prob edits. It's supposed to have our inc stuff in there for a multitude of reasons. Just asking.

Tried installing on Ruby 2.0.2 which is froyo aosp and didn't take. I'll try again later when I have more time.
Got it running on miui 6.24 build. Had to go into root explorer after reboot and click on every apk and install before it worked though but it works.

FYI
Tried to install this running CM7. Wouldn't give me the usual startup splash, just flashed a white screen every 10 seconds or so and vibrate. Guess that means its not going to work, let it try to boot for several minutes.
If you've cooked it into a ROM can you post the port? Thanks.

True I agree with you on both the points.
Everything seems to be working fine, except the SD Card.
Working:
1. WiFI
2. GSM
3. 3G
4. Backlight
No force closes
Not Working:
SD Card
Not tested
MIC
Wiped cache.Factory Reset done,Installed this ROM successfully via CWM it took ages to boot the devices and now I just get the home screenwallpaper No H/W keys works - I pulled out battrey and rebooted the device twice but this ROM is not working for me

HELP!!!!!!!!! I cant even get back to Recovery/Bootloader- when I pull the battrey out and Power the device HOLD the Volume down button I can see the MIKROM Bootscreen the Phone Vibes but doesnt get me to the bootloader I see the Home screenwallpaper and at bottom left of the screen it says SAFEMODE????

Do I flash a RUU? Can anyone help me fix this problem - please see the attached image -
All I get is this Safemode screen - when I power ON and hold Down the volume key - why cant I get to the Bootloader screen?
I don't like having a solid color for a background when I open my app drawer, and don't really care for any of the third party launchers, so I modified the stock launcher to be transparent. This was created using the stock kitkat launcher so make sure you're on kitkat before attempting to flash. You must be rooted or have CWM installed.

Reboot to CWM and flash away.
APK that can be flashed with a root file explorer
With a root file explorer copy Launcher2.apk to /system/priv-app, if it ask's about overwriting proceed with that. After it's been copied set the permission's to rw-, r--, r--. Reboot shield.
Just to be on the safe side before flashing/copying I would make a copy of the stock launcher that way if you want to revert you can. I would either copy the stock launcher to the download folder or copy it to the same folder and then add the file extension .bak, I will eventually be creating a version that includes the stock launcher as well. I hope you enjoy and thanks for downloading!

How did you try installing it? I used both methods and both worked for me. Youre on kitkat right? Lemme know and ill get if fixed.

I managed to get it, but it takes like 5 minutes to load the "desktop?" and app drawer... I get stuck on a black screen for 2 minutes, then my wallpaper comes out for 3 minutes and then everything loads, only thing I can use is double tap the home button and drag down the top and mess with settings. Now I must make sure I don't restart my device...

Yes. At first I just kept getting boot loops, then I managed to boot into it and everything started working again, but as I said, long load times the first 5 minutes. I'll probably flash back stock and try all over again.
