wootCheck a woot.com checking application for android! - G1 Apps and Games

Hey,
I just released a major update to my wootCheck application in the market and feel that it is the best woot checking app available by far.
My app checks all of the different woot sites and shows everything you would need to know about the product. It auto-refreshes for wootoffs and is extremely fast! Check it out!

If I understand the screenshots correctly, this could be one of my most-used WP7 apps! Once multiple languages (English, in my case) are supported, I'll be sure to give it a shot!
If I understand correctly this is a parcel tracking app?

A couple of users had posted pics that were hosted at aedes.us which is obviously listed as a naughty site. I removed them.
It's not so much that xda is a malware site it's that some virus checkers also check for links to malware sites.
Also, sometimes some of the software made by developers uses exploits to get access / hack the OEM firmware and that to can trigger alerts. In such cases you know the reason for the alert and can over-rule the warning. But it's always wise before downloading something to check the reputation of the person posting it and whether others have used the download without problems or reporting malware.

ebook site

can anyone suggest a good ebook/pdf site where they are available free
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using XDA Premium App
The only books that are likely to be free are those for which the copyright laws have expired, so they will all be 'Classics' which you can find anywhere by using Google.
If you are talking about more recent books then you are referring to illegally copying them, which is against the rules of XDA, just like software piracy.
Reported
As some sites offer legitimately free ebooks, I'll leave this open. Just make sure no illegal sites are discussed. Moved to Off-topic.
Have a look at ManyBooks.net then
http://www.gutenberg.org/
http://www.wattpad.com/
http://www.feedbooks.com/publicdomain
Feedbooks is great. They have a lot of books, and if you use Kobo, Aldiko etc. on your device, you'll have the whole thing right there.

Mod edit: It's against forum rules to discuss or promote piracy on this site. Please familiarise yourself with the rules before you post again.

It's not by your average and honest XDA Dev. I trust my security. It flagged a wallpaper app couple of months ago. 4 days later Google pulled it for hidden bit coin mining code. This is only other thing it's flagged.....
From my paid for buggy ass XDA app...
Well, this doesn't really belong into the "Xposed General" section as it's about a specific module/app.
I don't trust those virus scanners as much as you do. Anyway, here's a scan: https://www.virustotal.com/de/file/...76ae73ab4c2fc3b1e0c98049/analysis/1402423824/
It needs quite some permissions, including "Send SMS", but then again it has also lots of features which might need them (such as auto-replies). Such scanners can only use heuristics, which are not always correct by definition. To know it for sure, one would have to analyse the complete code line by line. As this is a commerical app, you won't get the code, so you can either trust or uninstall.
Obviously, everything you install is on your own risk and I surely won't give any guaranty that anything but my own files are malware-free.
trust your apps 100%and I'm grateful for your work.
