flash tells me it isn't a BA, when I know it is - MDA III, XDA III, PDA2k, 9090 Software Upgrading

I have definitely got the blue angel. It is an O2 Xda 11s.
I have downloaded the how to flash your BA pdf by D-Two, and followed the instructions. It gets through to the stage where it's about load the software onto the phone, and then it quits saying that he phone is not the appropriate model.
device information
Operator version: PDAViet.net
ROM version: 6.01.10 VH
ROM date: 07/08/08
Radio version: 1.06.00
ExtROM: diamond (01)
RAM size: 128 MB
Flashing eyes: 32 MB
Storage size: 60.3 MB
At present I have windows mobile 6.1.
And suggestions please?

for upgrading, you use the MAupgradeut_noID.
that program avoids country id errors but it was originally made for the magician, hence MA, whereas the original BA upgrade utility is called BAupgradeut.
that is why you get that error. you have to put the device into bootloader mode before connecting it to the pc and before starting maupgradeut_noid, that way, you avoid the device id check.
make sure to follow the correct upgrade procedure, found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=630416

These are the instructions I used;
Temporarily remove your SD Card (it may work for you with the SD card still in your BA, but you may not be able to enter USB mode when cradled).
Put your device into Bootloader mode by pressing and holding the "Power" & "Record" buttons, and then press the Reset Button. Help me with this step
Connect the phone to the sync cable/cradle. sarcasm ahead Note: Did you see a sign out in front of this point that said: "You can flash using BlueTooth connection?" You know why you didn't see that sign? Because you can NOT FLASH using BlueTooth!
Now you can execute the installer file. (something like "MaUpgradeUt_noID")<--------------- Used This
Here is the screen just before boarding the software.
http://i627.photobucket.com/albums/tt356/Pterodactyl_2012/ba1.png
And here is the error message.
http://i627.photobucket.com/albums/tt356/Pterodactyl_2012/ba2.png

nope, you are not using the proper maupgradeut_noid, because that would show a magician on the left, whereas your pictures clearly show a BA, so download the Chef_Tony RUU from my signature and try that. it has the right maupgradeut_noid, that will avoid errors like that.

you are trying to flash using vista/7 have you read d-two's manual about that, with the customized driver and everything?
alternatively try a windows xp pc and follow the tutorial in my signature (the read first link)
and make sure, that you don't copy around the rom too much. download the rom and the ruu directly to the pc you flash from and use it from that folder directly. i use windows 7 on my main pc and can only flash from my netbook which runs windows xp, and due to too much copying, i had similar errors, because after copying the rom to a usb flash drive without problems, still the crc changed.
don't worry, your case is far from hopeless, but you seem to be unlucky and go through every problem there is

Okay yes, I should have said this. I am using windows seven on a Lenovo N500 4233 32g. The problem is, trying to get hold of an XP machine. Have you tried running this programme in compatibility mode? I will have a look at your instructions and see where I get to.
Thanks for your help,

Is d-two's manual, the HTC service manual in you sig?

no, it is to be found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=5456317&postcount=6
compatibility has nothing to do with it, neither has the xp mode or any virtual machine, because there must be suitable windows 7 drivers present. but i cannot help you with his tutorial, since i use windows xp for flashing and have never successfully used windows 7 for flashing.
the htc service manual in my sig is the official htc manual for hardware repairs, you can learn to disassemble the device there and have a list of spare parts

Running HARD-SPL/Flashing ROMs without Windows?

Hi,
Just got an Xperia, and I'd like to follow the tutorials on flashing the WM6.5 OS onto it.
My problem initially is that all my PCs run Mandriva Linux, not Windows, which means that the .exe files etc provided won't run on my machine.
Is there a solution for this problem? Obviously I have no ActiveSync etc and although I can still connect the phone via USB, I'm a little nervous about trying to work out how to do this off the cuff - don't want to end up with a brick after all!
Cheers
Dave
If you have just got it, then start searching and reading first !!!
sticky threads have the most information you need.
anyway, quick response, hardspl with no windows i don't think so, but rom flashes yes you can with the microsd method.... you'll find info everywhere....
I recommend you to use a xp boot cd or other windows boot cd that can mount the OS in your pc or to make a partition with windows...
Because to do a hard-spl you WILL NEED WINDOWS....Activsync from microsoft...Shuold by active and running conected to your xperia of course...
For roms flashing you can use MicroSd method so not problem with your pc OS...
READ and Study a lot after doing....ANYTHING
Wish you Luck
Thanks guys.
I had already seen and read through the points on using Micro SD cards for the ROMs, but hadn't been able to locate anything on doing the Hard SPL any way without using Windows. Thanks for clarifying what I thought was the likely answer.
Looks like I'll be spending my lunch hour productively at work next week...
the easiest way for you will propably be :
1. Go get Virtualbox (free!) or VMWare Workstation/Server
2. Setup a new virtual machine.
3. Install Windows XP in this machine.
4. Install virtualbox guest additions in virtual machine.
5. Install Activesync
6. Connect your X1 to the usb while virtual machine is on focus.
7. Put Hard SPL on that sucker.
That's how I did it and have done it for some friends.
Alternatively just do it on one of your buddie's pc who has got Win.
It takes only few minutes.

What's Wrong With My Computer!?!?!

I have two PC's, one is a XP Media Center Edition. It had a virus on it and kept getting a corrupt file, so my techyish relative came and wiped the hard drive from scratch ( or so he says but it was a partial wipe) and reloaded the OS onto it. It worked fine, but then kept getting the corrupt file again. I then decided to order the recovery disks from HP, which is the computer manufactuer. They arrived and I put them in, followed the steps, and all wen well until I came to the recovery partition. It was backing everything up ( one time process only) into the recovery partition all fine and dandy until it came to a file that had to do with Microsoft Office. It stayed their for about 45 minutes backing up this file where the longest had been 10 minutes max for all the others. I looked the file up and it said it was a small 10 mb file, so I turned the computer off and went to normal without the recovery partition. Worked fine until one day something happened and I guess I needed to do the recovery again (it's been a few months since this has happened) and did all the steps, but it wouldn't take. It gets to about 4% and then dies with a BSOD and this message:
A problem has been detected and Windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer.
DATA_KERNAL_INPAGE_ERROR
If this is the first time you’ve seen this stop error screen, restart your computer. If this screen appears again, follow these steps:
Check to make sure any new hardware or software is properly installed. If this is a new installation, ask your hardware or software manufacturer for any Windows updates you might need.
If problems continue, disable or remove any newly installed hardware or software. Disable BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing. If you need to use Safe Mode to remove or disable components, restart your computer, press F8 to select Advanced Startup Options, and then select Safe Mode.

Copied it down word for word, space for space. Can anyone help me get this thing up and running again? It's now getting important.
Forgot to mention that I get the same problem each time I put the recovery disk in.
I'd recommend using a NON-Recovery Disk, but rather a Clean, Non-OEM, Windows Disk. If the issue pertains to the Kernal, it's usually unfixable without a Hard Boot of the Drive. You should do more than Re-Format.. you should delete all the partitions off of your Hard Drive with a Windows Disk, then pop in the Recovery Disks and do the OEM install.
So I need to wipe the hard drive clean again and put in another non OEM OS?
Not quite. Wipe the HDD clean with the NON-OEM Windows Disk, as most Recovery Disks do not allow you to alter the Partitions [Everything is done for you], then pop in your Recovery Disk and let it install the new Primary, and possibly the Recovery, Drives.
I see what your saying now, so what exactly happened to it?
Get Windows 7
I have windows 7, that's my other computer.
The guy at the un paso store got you too!!
At the step store? Lol.

When your supposed "Tech Savvy" friend attempted to fix your computer.. he, I'm assuming, did a simple "Repair" of the partition with an XP Disc. That is LITERALLY the most unwanted version of a fix ever... All it does is replace the system files, but keeps all of the other software that may have been conflicting with the system itself, BUT usually, all of the software is inaccessible. It's still on your computer, f*cking it up, but you can't see it.
Thus I always say, "If you get a bluescreen... more than once, and don't know what the code means... don't repair your computer.. re-format that b*tch after recreating the partitions."
But, if your XP compy has the specs to support Windows 7, your best bet, all in all, would be to install Windows 7. Doing so will save you the hassle of having to manually download all of the drivers for it... unlike installing a non OEM Windows XP [have to download & install the drivers manually].
PurpleLlamaLover
it sounds like the HP recovery disk could well be corrupt,
So you now have 3 options:
1. Try Linux Ubunut 10.4 LTS (Free Distro)
2. Buy a ligit copy of Windows 7
3. Download Windows Vista / 7 / XP from a torrent
and try untill you find a OS you lyk

ummm i use vista and have updated all my win mo phones on it...never had a problem
Really? Well, i'll keep in mind if I can't get XP back on it. I'd rather just have 7 and XP. I don't care what it runs as long as it runs again.
the best suggestion in this thread was install linux , however i take it that isn't a possibility. so here's what you need to do, you will require the following:
1) a fresh mind
2) a freshly burned copy of XPwhateverflavoryouwant
3) you do not care about anything on that drive.
put in freshly burned xp into computer, boot to cd drive, follow onscreen instructions, delete all partitions, create new NTFS partition, install to new partition.
if error comes back, it is not a software issue. fixing a xp bsod really is simple if it isnt hardware related.

you will need the stuff from this post -
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=648067
install - ER2003Edit_1_4_26.msi on pc
it will enable you to be able to open the ms_.nbf
the ms_.nbf needs to be put in the same folder as
HimaUpgradeUt_noID.exe
nk.nbf
ms_.nbf
when upgrading.
the ms_.nbf is where all the old factory programs are coming from its known as the EXTROM.
it houses programs that the factory thinks that should always be installed but not uninstalled by the public, thats why they do not appear in remove programs tab.but we do not need a lot of this stuff as we are now running WM 6.5.
the ms_.nbf that is here -
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=648067
has already been cleaned of any factory placed program .cabs so you can use that one straight off,it does contain 2 splash images that you could change?
its best not too have any .cabs in ms_.nbf as you will then be able to do this -

still having problems with update
hi advanced'
thanks for the help' what ive done was downloaded all thos programes you advised me to.
extracted them to my desktop' installed the one that opens the rom image.
opend the rom image had a look it said i was on o2 but ive unlocked it to my network orange, but i didnt change anything just save the image and came out of the programe.
then i opened windows mobile connected my xdall to it and created a new folder in games called smart, i then copy the ms file and the himaupgrade to this folder.
which ever way i try to run this ie from my windows mobile sysc, i get the same message first it says about update and delete my old software, goes through the checking stage then says update has a problem please take out usb and soft reset device and try again.
and if i try to run it from my mobile it says there is no application associated with ms_ run the application first then openthis file from within the application.
this is driving me up the wall, also i am using windows 7 might that be a problem.
many thanks

the HimaUpgradeUt_noID.exe was never made to run on win7 that why we have too tweek.
follow this its for xp/vista but also applies for win 7 -
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=428469
when all hooked up ie. device in bootloader (you cannot update in win mobile it needs to be in bootloader mode)and all ready to run, make sure u have all 3 files in same folder on desktop pc not win mobile device...
3 files are -
HimaUpgradeUt_noID.exe - update app
nk.nbf - actual win mo 6.5 rom image
ms_.nbf - extrom image
the ms_.nbf can be opened with ER2003Edit_1_4_26.msi and just delete the o2 option from the 2 drop down and type in ORANGE then go - file - save ROM image - exit
after update app has finished make sure you do this before you start up device for first time -
Select the options as follows:
(for selecting use Record Button, change values with Camera Button)
Enable KITL -> NO
Clean Registry Hive -> YES
Format Storage -> YES
When done, press DPad/Action Button and wait until OS starts.
follow the update instructions for xp on here -
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=428469
even though you are running win 7 its the same, where it differs is the actual driver install, follow the guide for vista for that..

have u tried installing"Windows Mobile Device Center " which ya get from microsoft web site.
Windows Mobile Device Center - for win 7
ActiveSync - for xp
(if allready installed, uninstall and start fresh)

this great guide is for win 7 as well..follow the Windows Vista guide first to make win 7 play ball then after a pc reset follow the Windows XP guide for the actual updating...
and make sure you go through the different driver install ie. USBAS.zip
the reason for this is that win 7 runs "Windows Mobile Device Center" but the himalaya upgrader needs the drivers from the older "ActiveSync" which runs on xp.
make sure you have -
Uncheck the 'Allow USB Connections' box, and select 'OK'. in "Windows Mobile Device Center" settings before you try hooking up device in bootloader mode...
which WM 6.5 ROM are you trying to run ?
updating on win 7 works...it just takes some tweeking....

[GUIDE]How to install Windows 7 retail via USB drive

Hey people. Think you have seen a thread like this before? Well, that's because you have. But THIS thread is different! For two reasons:
1-It's written in GOOD English. No offense folks, but spell checking is really not that hard.
and
2-It deals with EVERYTHING you need to do to get Windows 7 retail up and running on the Shift.
If you see something that needs to be changed/corrected/updated then please feel free to let me know!
HOW-TO INSTALL WINDOWS 7 RETAIL VIA USB ON THE HTC SHIFT X9000 SERIES
Now, before we begin, this guide assumes a few things:
1-that you are using a RETAIL or RTM copy of Windows 7. This guide WILL NOT work with beta or RC versions of Windows 7 OR versions that are N-lited, stripped or altered in anyway. You MUST be using a retail image, either made from a disc you own or from other sources. Please note that we at XDA do not support piracy and suggest that you buy a legal copy of Windows.
2-That you are using a GSM version of the Shift, IE the X9500 or X9501. While these instructions will work with the CDMA version of the Shift, I personally do not have one so I cannot confirm if/how the CDMA radio works using this installation method.
3-That your version of Windows 7 ISN'T Home Basic. While Home Basic will work, it doesn't support touchscreens. I personally installed Ultimate, as the requirements are the same no matter what version you use.
To install you will need:
1-A Shift(duh!)
2-A copy of Windows 7 RTM or a retail disc
3-A USB drive that is 4GB or greater, but no larger than 32GB for Windows
4-A USB drive(any size really) for the storage of HTC drivers for post installation
5-Some time on your hands
6-Either another PC with a CD drive or a USB CD drive
Now onto the good stuff!
1-Let's begin. Insert your Windows 7 DVD into your CD drive. If you are using an ISO image, skip to step 4.
2-Make a folder on your desktop called Windows 7.
3-Copy ALL the files from your Windows 7 DVD into the folder you just made. Be patient as this process will take some time, especially if you are doing this on your Shift.
4-While the files are copying(or after they are done, whatever) go ahead and insert your USB drive into a free port.
5-Open "My Computer" and locate your USB drive. Right click on it and select "Format". Click the menu which says-"File System" and select "NTFS" from the options. Then click Format and let it finish. It should take just a few moments.
6-Once your USB drive has been formatted, open a command prompt and type the following command:
BOOTSECT.EXE /NT60 H:
Where "H" is your the letter of your USB drive.
7-Your USB drive should now be ready to use!
8-Insert your USB drive into your Shift's USB port, press the power button and repeatedly press F10 as it starts to be brought to the Boot Menu and select your USB drive and hit enter.
9-Windows should begin loading setup information now. It should take around 5-ish minutes to get to the graphical part of the installer.
10-When you are presented with the graphical portion, select your country and whatnot, then a username and such, and when it asks you if you want to Upgrade or Custom install, select Custom.
11-You will now need to format your Shift's harddrive. Select the partition that is displayed and select "Format". PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS WILL DELETE WINDOWS VISTA FROM YOUR SHIFT. YOU CANNOT RECOVER ANYTHING THAT IS DELETED. Your recovery partition however is not touched in anyway, so if Windows 7 doesn't work for you, you can reinstall the stock Vista from the recovery partition.
12-Once it is finished formatting, select that partition to install to and continue on with the installation.
13-When it finishes you SHOULD be presented with the Windows 7 desktop. And that's about it. No WiFi. No sound. Pretty much nothing. Now, you DID download the drivers and put them on another USB drive right? Right? GOOD!
14-Insert your USB drive and let Windows install it. Now, ALL of the drivers that we are about to install MUST be installed in the same fashion as I am about to describe. Right click each one and select properties. Click the compatability tab and select the option to have the installer run in compatibility mode for Windows Vista. This MUST be done or the drivers WILL NOT install.
15-Once you have done that, go ahead and install the following drivers. Don't worry about the other ones for right now. Install them IN THIS ORDER OR ELSE THEY WILL NOT WORK:
1-Vista Intel Chipset driver
2-Vista ECD
3-HTC Touchscreen
4-HTC ShagCTRL
5-Marvel SDIO WiFi
After you have installed those 4 drivers, restart your Shift.
16-Once your Shift has restarted, go ahead and press the Comm. Manager button. Shift Control Center should pop-up and your WiFi card should begin installing. If it doesn't, click on the button for WiFi and make it say "ON" and it should then start installing.
17-Once your WiFi card is succesfully installed, click Start->Windows Update.
18-Click on "Check for updates" on the left hand side and let Windows do it's thing. It should find 60-ish updates for download, around 6 of which are drivers for your various devices such as sound and Bluetooth and the like. Don't worry, your screen resolution WILL get better!
19-After Windows has installed updates..you are pretty much done! EVERYTHING should now be working in Windows 7!
20-ENJOY 3(!) HOURS OF STOCK BATTERY LIFE ON YOUR SHIFT RUNNING WINDOWS 7!
That's about it folks. I worked for 2 days straight to devise this method for installing Windows 7 on my Shift, and it couldn't work any better. If you find a mistake, or have a suggestion please let me know!
Great!
I´ll move it to [REF] Guides | Tutorials | FAQs | Stickies | Read here before posting thread located here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=772017
it went fine till step 16, the Comm. Manager button doesnt open anything, however the wifi works ok.
please tell me how does the Comm. Manager work
and now it just wont boot, it gives a blue screen and tells me theres an error, and automatically shut down.
What error does it give you? Are you ABSOLUTELY SURE that you are using a GENUINE untouched OEM RTM copy? This process ONLY WORKS with the legal untouched OEM RTM. If you are trying this with some kinda downloaded ISO it WILL fail and bluescreen on you. It must be build 7600 or higher. Comm. Manager just works for me under 7 following these instructions.
Hi! Thank you for the guide, everything is fine! The only thing doesn't work is the touchscreen. I've installed the touchscreen drivers in compatibility mode Windows Vista SP2 and as Administrator. Do you have any idea?
EDIT: Solved! I reinstalled the driver for the 8th time and it worked!

Teclast X80 Pro (E3E6) Dual OS (Win10/Android 5.0): Remove Windows

Hey guys. Sorry to bother you in the X98 section, but since there's no section for the X80 yet and maybe the devices have some similarities, I hope it's ok.
The tablet worked fine, but to remove any possible bloatware under Windows or Android, I reset Windows. Somehow the device must have crashed (low battery?) and now I can't boot to Windows anymore (black screen and / or boot loop). Of course I made no backup / recovery disk. Android still works fine and I still get into BIOS / UEFI.
I tried reinstalling Windows via OTG with USB stick. I got to the point where I can choose a partition. Problem is, there are lots of partitions (Android, recovery, System and so on). I located the Windows partition, formatted / deleted it and tried to reinstall Windows on this partition. Just the exact way I would do it on a PC. Somehow it won't install on this partition. The error message says something about "the partitions are not in the recommended order. Further information for installation on GPT-volumes..." (I don't know the exact English phrasing because everything is in German). I chose "continue anyway". Then I get the message that "the EFI-system is not formatted in NTFS. Format the partition to FAT32 and start install procedure again". I press ok and get back to Windows Setup (Install now).
I also tried different repair and recovery options. One time I got error code 0xC0000034. Funny thing is, Windows still seems to be there because while trying to repair / recover I tried to load some drivers and could see the hard drives and folders under Windows.
I tried downloading the original roms here: http://pan.baidu.com/s/1qYEa8gc
You need a Baidu account for the larger files and after days and days I gave up to create such an account as it seems to work only with a mainland China number. There's an option for oversea mobiles but that's not working. I tried a QQ-account, but Baidu wants to link with it and you need that telephone number again. So apparently there's no way to get the original files that way.
I found some stuff here: http://www.needrom.com/download/teclast-x80-pro-dualboot/ but that's only a tutorial file in Chinese and some flash programms / drivers (also got them from Baidu - smaller files are possible to download without an account).
Long story short: I guess recovering Windows 10 is too much effort, so I want to make the tablet Android only and of course want to use the whole capacity for Android. I found a thread on reddit about removing Windows on the X98: https://www.reddit.com/r/teclast/comments/479eua/teclast_x89_how_to_remove_windows_10/
But I have no idea which partitions are definitely needed for Android and which ones I can safely delete. I found a partition map here: http://wheresmykeyboard.com/2015/08/teclast-x98-air-64gb-dual-boot-default-partition-map/ but that doesn't help me that much because they look different.
Attached you will find a photo of all the partitions on my device. I guess there are some which were created during the failed Windows installation because I had about 20 GB free space and now only 17.7 GB.
So is there anybody out there who knows if it's possible to remove Windows completely and which partitions I have to delete?
Did you ever figure this out? I just bought an X80 Pro and was thinking of doing something similar since I plan on making it an android-only tablet.

Hi. Sorry for the late replay. Yes, I figured it out and my X80 Pro is now running Android-only with 32 GB. In the end, it wasn't that hard but a long way to success.

Yes please tell us how metalaxi , it'll be much appreciated.:good:
Ok, guys. Since some of you are asking how I did it, I'm going to try to explain it. It's kinda embarrassing that I don't remember the exact way but I hope it helps somehow. I used the tutorial from this site: http://techtablets.com/forum/topic/x80-plus-android-os-only/#login
Even though it's supposed to be for the Plus model, it also worked on the Pro. Btw, the guy Alex in that thread is me .
You can download all the files from my Google Drive here: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0BxEFqy4Rt9w_cnh3VG9ySk5sOHM
You need
- Android5.1 Upgrade Tool.rar
- X80 Pro (E3E6)- Dual OS - Android5.1-V1.04 Firmware.rar
- gpt.rar (Credit goes to Allember @techtablets-forum; hope it's ok to spread the file)
First you have to install the flash tool. Unrar the firmware and replace the gpt.bin. Then flash the firmware by checking BLANK.
Problem is that when I did all that, my Windows was already crushed and wasn't working anymore. I can't remember anymore if I erased the Windows partitions or any others beforehand. If you're not interested in Windows anymore, just flash it without changing or erasing any of the partitions. I guess by replacing the gpt-file, you do all that automatically.
I hope this somehow helps you. Feel free to ask for more help.
Have a good night!

Hi @metalaxi. Do you think its possible to like "reverse" and use the same files to remove Android instead and maintain the Windows 10? Appreciate to hear from you. Thanks!
Do we have to change the gpt before doing what you said in your PDF? Or I have just to follow your PDF?
Hi guys, got mine a few months and want to get rid of the Windows part, but the instructions are insufficient for a joker like me.....

Sorry, I can't answer that sufficent enough. As far as I know, you can just delete all partitions except the ones from Windows. Then format the unallocated space and merge it with the one from Windows. No guarantee!

1. Which 4 parts do you mean?
2. To flash any firmware, you need to install all the upgrade tools:
IntelAndroidDrvSetup1.5.0
iSocUSB-Driver-Setup-1.2.0
PhoneFlashTool_5.3.4.0_internal_win32

It is not so hard. By mine it was only trial and error. Installiert all drivers an go in the bootloader with three Finger method. Go two levels up and go into bootloader. Then connect to PC and look in Intel flashing tool if connection is reconiced correctly. Select the downloaded file and select flash. Thats it. Device will reboot and you are ready to go.

Straightforward if you can obtain a USB stick capable of storing over 7GB (some 8GB sticks may not); USB hub (ideally a powered hub); USB keyboard; OTG cable.
1) Obtain the Windows files of the correct firmware. The procedure outlined here is for E6E9 firmware, but other firmware will be similar. Download the circa 6.5GB E6E9 firmware Windows files from https://yadi.sk/d/XEvRsoiD3Q4vKX or https://mega.nz/#F!I0AXGR5C!YiNFkZL9DIvzepH28qAjEQ (or from appropriate source for your firmware version).
Decompress the downloads as required to obtain six folders and two files.
2) Format the stick to FAT32.
3) Name the stick WINPE (five uppercase characters).
4) Copy the previously mentioned folders and files to the USB stick.
5) Plug USB stick and USB keyboard into hub; plug hub into OTG cable; plug OTG cable into tablet whilst the tablet is off.
6) Turn on tablet and immediately start tapping << Delete >> key on USB keyboard. This should open the UEFI config section prior to Android boot option. If the tablet displays the Android boot option, turn off the tablet, wait a few seconds, then turn on and start tapping << Delete >> key on USB keyboard again.
7) When in UEFI, touch the title menu option of << Save and Exit >> and look in the << Boot Override >> section for the name of your USB stick, then touch the name of your USB stick. The screen will immediately go blank as the tablet starts to boot from the USB stick.
8) After a few minutes, a numerically display of progress will be displayed in a CMD window.
9) After reaching 100% and nearing completion of the overall installation, the tablet will prompt for acceptance, so accept that prompt.
10) The setup will run a few final operations for a few seconds, then automatically reboot.
11) Done.
You will be prompted to complete the OOBE on each Windows boot until you complete OOBE.
