mine doesnt work. I will look into this and the camera in the near future.

Thanks for taking over on this. Loading it up now! Not sure if this build has it, but can you put the full market in future builds if it is not already in this one?
Also, in an older build, couldn't figure out how to get the weather working in sense. Is there something that needs to be turned on?

once you get the sense widgets working, remove the clock and add it again. It will give you the option to use fullscreen weather.

Thanks.....Widgets came on in first boot!
Is there a way I can overclock this or does it need to be built in? Or can you possibly do it as an update file? Seems more sluggish then the last version.....

You just revive me from the pit of windows mobile. One question, does the nbh work with kaiser or do I have to find one with 3d support for kaiser

edit:is there a significant difference with applying the 500mhz update?

This build is great, has everything working well. Haven't o/c yet and I'm getting home screen crashes all the time. Going to o/c now and we'll see how that works.

flipclock for 1.5 sense roms, now working!

UPDATE: seems to work fine for most people by just flashing, my phone had different problems.
it does work with this method when having trouble otherwise: wipe, fresh installation of mcr3.1/2, boot and do the setup, flash the clock. a wipe is not mandatory, it has proven to work without a wipe in many cases now. should work on all 1.5 sense roms.
in every case make a nandroid backup before! then flash the zipfile as usual from the recovery menu, no need to delete anything manually before.
who wonders what this is about, from 0:12 in this video. the flipclock was removed by htc in the 2.73 series roms, probably for performance reasons. since (especially) paul and teknologist have done a lot on the performance side it is worth a try IMHO. so far the feedback is good, ppl don't seem to notice an impact on the performance.

animations are always bad to capture in a screenshot. this is the regular 2x4 hero clock widget with the digits flipping over as animation, as it was in the 1.76.x roms. the animation was removed for performance reasons, but since a lot has changed performancewise i think it is worth a try.
i'll see if i can dig up a video. edit: there you go, about 13 seconds in.
just tested it and it works perfectly, and i have network connection

what rom are you using? do you experience any performance lags? do all apps work, i think i had problems with connectbot while the clock was installed?
and we still have to wait for long term results, i hope it doesn't drain the battery...
btw, it is still not working for me, dammit!
the latest Modaco rom 3.1, i wasn't getting any lag switching from screen to screen but i did go back to my back up cause it was abit annoying wait a few seconds to know what the time is, i didn't test all my apps lol all i did was surf the inter-web. All i did was to flash it as an update.zip and for me it worked perfectly

i leave that as an exercise to the reader flashed enough today, going to bed now. nandroid is your friend. my bet: won't work. try wiping, flashing the rom, do the initial setup, then flash the clock. and keep us posted
Flashed, clock still displays, force closes when the flip should happen.

this was taken from a gsm rom, so i wouldn't expect it to work in a cdma rom. i replied to a thread in the cdma section pointing them here, my guess would be that the procress has to be redone with cdma sources. i can't do this without having access to the running rom.

so i was right you could check logcat for errors, but tbh i don't think there is much that can be done, given the closed source nature of the sense framework.

Can Someone Port the HTC Desire Rom to the Vogue Please? It has Flash 10.1 Support!

I'm willing to Donate to get this done
here is the link to download the rom and also the kitchen. I know absolutely nothing about this stuff. I Hope im not giving links to stuff that is not helpful.

if someone is already working on this, Im very grateful.
Thanks Myn for pointing all this out
Ive had this downloaded for a while and expect if no one has it ported by the time I get my phone and my first build tested I'll give it a go. I'm expecting however because it's designed for a higher resolution that while I can get it to boot the resolution is going to cause framework issues.
I'll keep you guys posted.

Yeah. I go for speed too. All the nice extras you get with sense is cool but the speed and workability of donut is why I haven't switched to Eclair.
im interested in the flash support. I just remember when we couldnt pull the flash out of the hero properly without the framework, so i figure this wouldnt be possible either. I would be willing to try the rom if someone ported it though

Couple roadblocks in the way.. the build is designed for the snapdragon cpu. I've not been successfull in the past at getting them going 100% (sorry I didn't realize this when I said I'd be able to do it) and I've been working on my build all day..
I don't tend to give up on things though so I'll come back around to it in a bit.
Did someone say snapdragon? VZW + Nexus =
AFAIK the Android version of Flash 10.1 is ARMv7-only because Adobe wanted to limit its usage to high-end phones... And since it's closed-source, unless Adobe releases an ARMv5/6 version, it's pretty much.hopeless.

I've tried cleaning up vilords tattoo build, still uses a lot of space removed a lot of htcextras that I don't use need or want. but if I remove the wrong things I have problems still working on it though the most I can get is close to 52 mb free internal memory before I sync all of my contacts. This is why I was curious if you could I tried splitting the install I suppose I have to have a partitioned SD card to get it to work right I get a lot of I/O device errors

Yes, you would need an ext2 parition on your sd, and a custom install script to set it all up.

Blue_Haze Themed Donut ROM 03/26/2010 Taking Requests

****** Any Requests? I am running out of ideas ******
Oh my gosh, I'm glad to hear that you're doing better.
Welcome back, Dr. Clover. Glad to hear you're doing better. I've always liked Blue_Haze. I may not use it that much anymore, but it's nice to see the progress you've made on it.
Do you have a theme for 2.1?
If I remember correctly, he put Blue_Haze for OpenEclair on hold until it's more stable. I'm sure he'll step in and correct me if I'm wrong though.
I just flashed this themed rom and i got to say i like it a lot ........ But should i chose to go back to stock cm 4.2.15.1 do i need to do a full wipe or can i just flash with cm updater ??? Also i reverted the ram hack thru terminal can i reactivate it thru terminal also?

No, since this is built completely from CM's source, a wipe is not needed to go back. To redo the ram hack, just flash the ROM again.

lots of Android Builds?!!

hi guys first of all i'd like to thank every1 working on this great project which will definitely be the primary operating system for lots of x1's out there.
second, i'd like to ask a question since there r lots of android builds out there,
i'd like to know which one has the most features working?
and what is still not working on all of the builds?
another thing, Android 2.2 will be available in less than w week and they say it's going to be 450% faster than the previous build, is there a chance that it'll be ported to x1 too?
sry for all these questions but I've been away for a while and i'm really interested on using android on my X1.

3- Either WiFi Or Headphones

I am also trying to find out what works and what doesn't. I came onto this forum link on a howto: forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=650559

Is Android good enough to replace Windows Mobile? Is there a better replacement for Windows Mobile 6.1? Coz my friend is about to throw his phone into pieces and jump on it for pure pleasure. heh.

Just flashed it, been running for a little bit.
I could feel the speed increase in this compared to Passion.
Great work, and thanks.
Things I've noticed so far:
- Speed increase compared to Passion.
- I like not having to mount the phone when I connect to the computer. (It transfers things faster, too.)
- Multi-tasking (Hold home button) doesn't take forever to come up anymore.
- It feels really smooth.
- Pulldown toggles are there, nice.
- Launcher is kind of laggy, but we're used to that.
- Keyboard doesn't lag as much as other ICS ROMs.
awwwwwww yeahhhhhhhh!
looking forward to trying this out!
Does this ROM have the CM Settings patch already put in, or do we need to add it ourselves?
Also, is 911 fully functional as it is in Onecosmics rom?
Here is an accurate battery mod that I made for Build 11.

Nice, thanks.
If this gets updated as CM9 does, I wouldn't mind porting over my mods, too.
About to try thanks.
Awesome, going to try this.

after flash gps_fix_build11_captivatemtd.zip . gps is still failure. and display is horizontal by default.
So once this is up and running, it will update as the typical CyanogenMod ROMS do? Only updating the necessary files and such?

That's not for the vibrant.. if you could see, it does say 'captivatemtd,' he copied the second section from the ICS in the captivate section.

Can read, just did not know the captivate had different auto rotate settings.
It's nice to be back in (semi) AOSP territory, as opposed to tweaked existing ROMS
