improve your battery life on ur android 2.1 - Droid Incredible Android Development

this solution was found in the nexus one android development in xda. so i dont take credit for this... but it worked on my nexus ...
have d new cyanogen eclair rom on it,
but i got 20 hrs of battery n still have 50 %.
mild texting and calls, took a 4 min video, uploaded it to youtube, downloaded 5-6 apps, mild surfing, tried the new mozilla fennec browser(lame), and the dolphin hd browser(superb!!)
had setcpu min & max 1180mhz
so... this is a good fix!
here is the link to the original thread on xda nexus one page
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=670999
basically, what u have to do is
go to settings, about phone, battery, battery use, cell standby, tap on cell standby and you will find 'time without signal' (if your phone has been ON for atleast 30 mins). if this is more than 30 %, thats whats draining ur battery.
(see attached pic)
so..
1) Goto dialer and dial *#*#4636#*#* (DO NOT press send)
wait a second and you will get the test menu.
2) In the test menu choose 'Phone Information'
3) scroll down and choose on the first drop down -GSM only or cdma only or wcdma only. whatever you choose, wait 5 seconds and look on ur notif bar if u get ur 3g back (or E).
4) Back all the way out.
5) You might want to reboot, but I found the settings worked straight away.
after you reboot, wait like an hour or so and go back to settings, about phone.. blah blah and find 'time without signal'. if it is lower than what u saw before... it worked!!!!
mine was 44% before and after it was 0%
and i used cdma only.
but to round up..
gsm only - best battery, less speed
cdma only - good battery, fastest internet
gsm auto or cmda auto - good battery, fastest internet
try this out guys... c if it works!

-this trick does not work after some reboots, so you might have to do this between 3 or 4 reboots. until somebdy finds an app for this..

This really did fix my signal issue that I was having. I will have to see about the battery later.

this wont fix any network or signal issues..
only for the battery

Are you guys setting it to EVDO? or CDMA only? I've set it to both. and both of them still are getting high standby?
also, how are you running your incredible at
"had setcpu min & max 1180mhz"

i have nexus one..
isnt evdo 4g?
im not sure

EVDO is Verizon's 3G technology. But EVDO is also CDMA. LOL
And I have tried both on my incredible and both standby's percentage is still extremely highest.
I already miss my moto droid running at 1.2Ghz

ok.. try cdma(prl) only... and let is stay for an hour after reboot... then chek for time without signal

Going to Battery Info will give the battery temperature for those who fear that theirs gets too warm when used heavily. This way there's a more tangible reference.

I had actually done this days ago to try and help with my signal by setting it to cdma instead of auto so it wouidnt constantly search for best signal. Having come across this thread I notice my time after 13 hrs is without signal 1% and cell standby is 37% but I will monitor this closely because I traveled last night and my phone was on airplane mode. I still think the battery is not that good. I also noticed that phone idle and standby uses more battery than I actually do.

It's strange, but mine says "Time on: 2h 8m 28s" but nothing about time without signal. Is it safe to say I'm already okay without making any changes?

major battery issue [darchdroid]

hi guys. ive been thru every post in darch latest and previous threads, and no real confirmation as to what my problem is. i promise you tho, if someone has suggested it in those threads, i have tried it. from rebooting at the end of a full charge to recalibrating my battery. nothing is helping, and while it wasnt an isse before, tomaro i am going to soaring eagle (casino) and desperatly need the fix[xxx]
in darch previous build, he posted a vattery fix that blew mymind. i didnt think it was physically possible to get that many hours out of such heavy usage, but whatever he did, it worked. i was hoping someone can really help me out on this one...do you think someone could take a look at what his fixxxxxxxxxxxxx consisted of, and encorporate it into this current build? i would appreciate it so much, if i hit the big numbers tomaro, i will gladly paypal you any number of money in return!
Like you've been told in the main thread, all of those battery fix/x/x/xes have been incorporated into the current build already. Because you are the only person experiencing these issues (As far as I can tell) then it comes down to something that you're doing.
Go to Settings -> Spare Parts -> Battery History and then change the top drop down menu to "Partial wake usage" and post if any of the bars are full.
Also, did you flash after a total wipe, or did you flash over 2.6.5?
Do you overclock or use Autokiller?
What apps and widgets do you use? (List them ALL)
I have plenty of apps and several widgets on my phone and I'm still pulling at least ~25 hours of heavy use. I sent ~300 texts, did some web surfing, and made three phone calls (well, five... but three of length) and I'm sitting easy at 57% after a good 16 hours.
like it took me 100 times to get an answer to, theres no way that battery fix is in this current build. i went through 2 whole days with those fixxes, and mt battery life does not compare. and if darch tried to encorporate it, he broke it whille fixing gps or mms. its not working for me, im not a noob, i know how to flash and follow proper troubleshooting procedures.
i dont mess with overclock, i leave it set at 710. i wont report my location to an app that doesnt require it to function, so no autokiller
the only apps im using are launcherpro and fancy widget

Do you use an overclock widget or do you just let the kernel do the frequency scaling? What shows up under Settings > Spare Parts > Battery history > Partial Wake Usage?
Autokiller no longer requires location..just saying.

I wasn't calling you a noob... :/
What is your signal strength on darchdroid? THAT is a problem that a lot of people are having. Bad signal strength = bad battery life. (Also, I want dBm, not bars)
I still think blaming darch for this when you are [now] one of two people with this problem is a little... absurd. There are tons of people running this ROM.
I'm having pretty crappy battery life too. My phone seems to sleep fine and doesn't drain when not in use. Nothing bizarre in spare parts. It's when I'm using it that it the the battery seems to abnormally plunge.
I wiped before flashing.
Not using any OC apps.
No autokiller or similar apps.
I restored all my apps with titanium backup.
I dunno.
My signal strength fluctuates anywhere from -89 dBM to -94 dBm at the location I spend most of my day at.

apologies. your first post seemed a little condesending.
i actually get better signal w dd. 74dbms. a little ironic huh lol
i updated my recovery, wiped everything twice, and reflashed. installed NOTHING and its till draining. im going in for a redownload.
i think their are plenty of ppl with the battery issue...ppl who dont care tho, or dont know, or just havent posted
thanls for your help devin, i appreciate it. so whats the next step?
My battery issue is documented, I barely get 8 or 9 hours
Unplugged at 10AM this morning, it's 2:10PM now and I'm at 46%. Heavy usage, on the internet for probably an hour and a half atleast. I thought this was normal battery usage because it's all I've ever gotten. Doesn't bother me because I carry around an extra battery for a total of 16 hours battery life, and I have a third battery if I intend to go for a while without a charger
EDIT: Signal is -88 and is usually always around that point.
i was using the latest radio from flipz (2.42.blahblah) and my signal was hovering around -95 dbm, just flashed the old stock radio and it's up to -75ish dbm
So what's better -95 or lower (example -75)

Higher (closer to 0) is better, so -75dBM is better than -95dBM. -70dBM or better should be full bars. -100dBM should be the worst signal that displays 1 bar (if it displayed right). One thing you might try is pulling the radio interface library from DamageControl and push it out to /system/lib/libhtc_ril.so. I think Darch uses an older version.
my phone is draining like water between my fingers. if i post a logcat, will that help?

By this do you mean that the always on mobile setting is disabled by default. That setting alone has doubled my battery life on other phones. Also, for those with lower signal, consider disabling the "Use wireless networks" setting under location. With low signal it can cause more battery usage than GPS. Devs that think they are helping by trying to use wireless signals for location are actually hurting. A big one that comes to mind is Locale. I have written the dev once and about to write again. They turn on wireless all the time to try and use it for location and they don't turn it off after. Even when my current conditions in locale specifically say to turn wifi off.

Do you have GPS always turned on? I only turn it on when I'm using it.
Have you removed apps that you don't use? I've created a .bat that automatically removes all the stuff I don't use (Livewallpapers.apk, for example), pushes my current ringtones to system storage (it's faster, more battery efficient) and then reboots the phone.
Do you have autobrightness on? I have my brightness stay at a low-ish setting (still visible mostly everywhere, though) because I noticed the light sensor was being a little wacky.
What baseband and PRL do you have?

A logcat may be useful to people who know more about the jargon that those spit out. I've solved a couple of my own problems by looking through them, but I knew what I was looking for. I wouldn't know what to look for in this circumstance.

Mobile Network Always On is just default on this ROM. I've yet to find a setting for it. However, I found an app (Well, gomorrah pointed it out to me) that allows the data network to be turned off. It's called SwitchPro and it costs $.99 and it's well worth it.
I leave the network location on, but that really depends on your location. I've never had a problem with it.
The batteryfix/x/x/xes that I mentioned fixed a wakelock issue that happened in 2.6.2(?). Ever since then, the fixes were incorporated into the ROM. That doesn't mean that new problems could have arisen, but that those problems are patched. It doesn't seem to be a wakelock issue like it was in the past.
What I recommend to everyone is to follow the standard bug-reporting procedures detailed in the first post for the ROM. If there really is a bug, darch should be able to nail it.
And one last thing; can everyone with battery problems do this for me and post their results:
Code:
adb shell
top -m 5 -n 1
(If you could run it a few times over, say, 15 minutes, using the phone as you normally would, this could cause something to show up)
I know what my cause is... I have very poor signal at work and it spends all day just trying to squeeze out enough signal to get emails and sms. Disabling always on mobile has doubled the battery life of my phone and every other person that has said they tried it and has no side-effects that I have found. I am new to Darchdroid. Does Darch have a bug management system or a process to manage bugs/feature requests?

Maybe sounds silly, but do You have 3G / HSDPA full timeturned on and/or any data eating app(s) running in the background? Usually these drains my I9000 really fast. If I take care to turn stimes 3G off (only 2G allowed) and shutting down the app(s) which run in background make my phone usable for a day.
it's 100% normal to suck so much battery life if you are constantly using 3G or WiFi or long phone calls
I know how to disable HDSPA, but how to disable 3g? :S tnahks
You are using it or something in the background is using it.
Full-on use (gaming) burns about 20% per hour in my experience. Browsing might be a little less but not much because instead of using CPU/GPU power it uses data.
The screen is the major burn, how long does battery usage say the screen has been on?
My battery drain is always pretty much exactly 20%/hour screen time + 1%/hour on time. It will deviate from this if I've played alot of music (especially streaming) since it uses power but not the screen, this drain rate will depend on the player and type of music (built-in player playing from SD card is lean, Tune-in radio streaming over 3G is a hog that heats the phone up, Slacker is in between).

Could be a few reasons for that. If you've recently flashed a new firmware your battery stats may be messed up. Just run down your battery down a few times and it should sort itself out.
Maybe you turned your phone on while it was plugged in. This usually stuffs up the battery stats and can show as much as 30% extra battery when turned on that way. Always remove the charger before booting.
Also, to turn off 3g/hsdpa/data go to settings/wireless & network/network mode and select gsm only (2g). You can also download the widget '2g 3g' which will take you straight there. Also, you can uncheck 'use packet data'. This will kill all data which saves battery. I turn it back on with the widget whenever I need data again. The power button menu also has that option. I'm on 2.2.1 so it may differ if you are on 2.1.
Pretty sure you can still text with data off but may want to test it. If message fails then no. However mms send/receive won't work I think.

i heard there's a battery stats trick, anyone know it ?
there's no battery stats trick . its just a logfile that's stored. nothing else. the trick you're probably talking about is calibration of the battery.
drain fully, charge to full while powered off. one or two charges like this should sort it.

Hey I have a bell i9000 and I have to say that I'm extremely happy with my battery life, I've been unplugged since 9 am, its 7:30 now and my battery indicator is reading 37% with above average use (some phone calls, gaming, browsing...) I would advise you to do these things:
1) install darky's rom (9.2)
2) flash speedmod kernel 13b (very good on the battery)
3) use setcpu and set with these values, max:800mhz, min:100mhz (conservative), and add a profile for screen off with min/max @ 100 mhz and 100 priority level (don't worry, your phone will still feel snappy even @ 800mhz)
4) use a black wallpaper, since black is rendered by turning off pixels on an amoled display.
You should see some improvements, hope it helps!

You can always go into settings, about phone, and check what apps are using power. You might as well turn LTE back on cause you're just wasting money if you're paying for something you're not using. Turn off B/g Data sync and try to manually sync all data instead. And the new google maps has been causing some issues according to things i've heard lately, even reviews on the market say so.
Since 4g and 3g are billed the same, how is he paying more for something he's not using? If you are in a 3g only area, or a weakly covered 4g area, go ahead and turn off that 4g. It's silly to drain your battery on a service that you aren't able to make use of anyways...

I was under the impression that when LTE[4G] is turned off via settings--> mobile network then he will only get 2G on his device. It was a mistake, I forgot Verizon would use 3G since no 2G is there. Of course I know when you leave a 4G area you revert to 3G/2G/GPRS<--for GSM, I said that since on GSM in settings you can only do 3G preferred, 2g only, 3g/2g auto...There's no way on GSM to get just 3G unless you leave the 4G area.

I tried it too for giggles sake, and no go. You pull the battery at anytime, and it doesn't run.
Edit... I lied. Plug it into the wall. It will go to the boot animation, without the battery in, but will black out, and the bottom lights will flash. And even though, I had a full charge before plugging in, after putting the battery back in, the LG symbol comes up. Then its telling me, its charging. Interesting. Going to the gym, and I will come back and see where I am at with charging.
Edit... Nifty. battery is reading 4181 at 100% I should have downloaded the battery widget before I did this, so I could have compared.
Should I, or do I need to recalibrate my battery every so often, or should it run like this from now on?
OH now I am mad!!!! How dare you show me how to calibrate my battery. LOL!! I have been unplugged for 2 hours and 15 minutes. I am down to 4133 and still at 100% Normally after 2 hours I am down to 90-95%. AWESOMENESS!!!!

I do it maybe every 2 or 3 months or even when you change ROMs. The ? @ 60% is a Droid/Moto things only you won't be seeing that on other phones, but the trick still seems to work nonetheless. You can get spare parts to see the battery reading if you don't want the widget.

Signal needs the juice and always uses a lot of power, phone idle is power used while idle, you can't change that. Except by turning if the phone. My numbers are similar to yours, but my signal is around 50%.

Any idea why dial-er will take 25%??
No sense in calibrating the battery with that method....just download battery calibration from the market and push one button lol

Battery Drain On s3 i19305

Hi, need some help,
I got this phone a couple of days back, its an unlocked one. Battery on the phone seems to be draining faster than i expected it to. The first time i charged it, it took 3 hours in the afternoon. By night it was 20% this was after playing games and downloading through wifi, so it seemed ok. I then put it for charge overnight. The next day it still seemed to drained by 7pm only used whats app this day, so i had to put for charge again.
Once fully charged (2 hrs) I shut off wifi, bluetooth, nfc and others. Switched off smart stay options and the display is set to lowest brightness (not auto). The wallpapers is also black so it will not drain battery. Overnight without the phone being used (only thing i set was alarm) the charge went from 89% to 78%. During the day I also find the charge still dropping pretty rapidly. I have included the screen shot of the battery from the same day. Between the first pictures there is no difference in use and still drops by 3% in 20 mins or so.
Is this a problem with the battery or is that how it is?
(Stock, no changes to rom)
Not sure if this is your specific problem - but one thing I've found that kills this phone fast is bad 4G cell reception. By default the phone runs as LTE/GSM/WCDMA (Auto) in Settings->Mobile Networks . If you are in a location with patchy (or none at all) 4G Coverage, the phone wastes an inordinate amount of juice switching to high-power mode on the cell radio searching for the elusive 4G/LTE ... Just like a 3G phone will deplete its battery extremly fast in a location with no/poor 3G connectivity (inside the 'secure' datacentres I wander into occasionally that have cell blockers, I can deplete the battery in a phone in about 3 hours just due to it constantly switching to high-power 'cell search' mode as it has no details on any cells to 'hand off' to....)
The difference is palpable... inside my office, if I have the phone on the right side of my desk closest to some windows, it will receive 'patchy' 4G and I'll go through about 60% battery over about 8-10 hours with intermittent phone use (most of the battery goes to screen time as I'm a 'fiddler' whenever I leave my desk for a coffee/break/etc...) If I place it on the left side of my desk, where the reception is much worse, it'll fall back to 3G and I'll go through about 80% battery doing nothing different...
I'm now in the habit of switching the phone to WCDMA Only when I'm going to be working in the bowels of the building, as there aint no hope of 4G there...Doing this drastically improves battery life.. Likewise if I'm stuck at home over the weekend, I leave it on WCDMA, as where I live has very patchy 4G as well and I only get it if I walk outside and down the street...
Just a possible reason for the excessive drain... at least worth trying anyway... *shrug*

Hi thanks for the reply. My phone does not show WCDMA in settings. It just has 2g/3g/4g/ auto OR 3g in network modes under mobile networks.

I have used an app called "Radio Switcher" to activate "gsm auto (prl)", when i open the app it seems to go into "Device info". It seems to work but "Network mode" does not seem to change.
I have uploaded the screenshots
Seems as though the system is using more battery than the screen itself.
The system seems to really take up way too much battery power. Mine is at 4%.
What are your sync settings? Especially for things like Weather, stocks, news etc. If you set them to sync every hour or so, your phone will keep running on the 3G network which will end up draining your battery.
Also, switch off motion. It's a cool feature, but it's not necessary. Same with auto-rotate.
Finally, use WiFi instead of 3G where possible. That saves battery too.
If you're rooted, download noFrills CPU control and reduce your max clock frequency on days where you won't get a charge. Phone runs well enough on 800mhz, but has a tendency to keep going at 1.4Ghz for no reason.
Otherwise, get a higher capacity battery

My sync is off, plus i have disabled sync for everything individuality and disabled all unwanted apps. Data service is also off, only use wi-fi. under motion only smart call is on and auto rotate us off.
I have uploaded a screen shot off after ti disable all these apps.(went to bed with 35% and was 28% in the mornin, turned wifi off before)
Will upgrading (official) phone to android 4.1.2 help (current ver is 4.1.1)? Current base band version is i9305BVALI5 i got an update on kies to i9305BVALI3. I don't think this is update to 4.1.2 is it?
I have updated to 4.1.2, and applied only gsm setting in mobile network. All apps are still disabled as before. The system still seems to be suing most amount of battery, more than the screen. I do not know what is using the system.
I have stared having the same problem a couple of days ago. Though I have sync enabled 0-24 for 3 gmail accounts, motions are on, screen auto rotate is also on. I am using nova launcher, almost all Samsung apps are frozen and most of time I am on wifi.
Now, this drain has nothing to do with the stuff I just mentioned (Enabled sync, motions...). I have all that things enabled all the time, and yes MPU and GPU are OC to 1600 and 640 MHz. But I was always getting >= 24h with ~3,5 h of screen on time. As I already mentioned, problem started a couple of days ago. Only thing which comes to my mind is that I have played with freezing / defrosting apps and I probably installed a couple of apps too. Like Beautiful Widgets and that's my main candidate to blame for this at the moment.
Though I am still not sure... Better than battery stats didn't show anything what could help. Network location locator or similar is at the top of the list of partial wake locks. But the time it hold the lock (About 25 min.) can't be the reason for such a high drain.
I have switched to HD Widgets, what I was using before (With this app one can disable auto location.) removed Beautiful Widgets, and turned off'Use wireless networks' and GPS in location services hoping it will help... So we'll see...
For me it still shows that adroid system and cell standby time is using a lot battery.
I don't get why android system and OS is using so much battery, everything is disabled. Network is on only GSM setting and i have network all the time, why is that also high? Does someone else also have the same problem?
If possible, install Better Battery Stats, maybe it will help you to identify the problem... In my case it is not of much use at the moment.

Strange idea: download an anti-virus and let it run.
Might as well give it a shot now, especially since AV is free.

I did an upgrade using odin to 4.1.2, the issue still remains though. The screen shots i posted is with the update.
So any virus should also be wiped out right?

[Q] Horrible battery on 4.3 sense roms?

Has anyone else had this problem? since upgrading to a 4.3 sense based rom (tried 3 different roms), my battery life has become horrible..i can barely get 2 hours of screen on time whereas i used to get 4+ on 4.2.2 roms.
i know alot of people have said that 4.3 improves battery, but it hasnt for me, its done the opposite.
also has anyone noticed strange heating up of the device? for example in asphalt 8 the device thats slightly hot and then cools down while playing. but in games like candy crush or zynga poker the device continuously gets hotter and hotter..
tips/fixes/stories anyone?
Mine has been really good. Like, 3-4 hours screen time good. When I'm on wifi (N only, G wifi drains a lot) my battery percent just flatlines on the graph until I pick up the phone again. Sounds like a rogue app since I don't have this issue. I run ARHD 20.1.

I'm running arhd 20.1 aswell. And I would LOVE to see that happen again, my battery drains around 10% overnight, and I'm a really late sleeper, so that means in 5 hours it's lost 10% on standby..and it's weird cause WiFi shuts off after about two hours,so I know that's not causing the problem.
App usage shows android system as the app using the most battery. When I check in the morning it shows android system and kernel to be the top two users.
Could it be a radio problem? I've seen a decrease in signal since ive upgraded to the 4A.17 radio from firmware 2.24.
I'm thinking about flashing the minsense Rom or even a ge rom and see if that helps the problem.
It doesn't seem to be a rogue app cause I actually have less apps then I did on 4.2.2, and none that are new..

I'm still running the current T-Mobile firmware, not 3.x. (I'm still S-ON with hboot 1.44) Thought that was worth noting.
Have you tried putting the phone on WCDMA/GSM auto instead? If your LTE signal is weak (or any kind of signal is weak in general) I see this phone's battery life usually take a nose dive. It has so far from my testing saved me a ton of battery to switch the phone manually into GSM only when I'm inside a building at work to get more bars, then switch back to LTE auto when I leave. Try leaving it on overnight on different radio settings, and with and without wifi. It could be a cell radio drain. And btw get GSAM battery monitor, the stock stats don't seem right to me. Android System being high in the HTC battery stats tells you nothing really from what I'm seeing so far.

the funny thing is i dont have data, since i get wifi wherever i am. i also think its a radio problem though, my gsm signal never seems to be full, and people constantly tell me on the phone that they cant hear me. so what im doing (right now) is flashing a ge rom, specifically sinless rom, then im going to flash the new ge radio, 4A.18, and see how that plays out, prolly going to flash a 4.3 kernel aswell so i can uc to 162mhz or whatever the value is.
i seriously believe its the radio+lack of kernel on 4.3 sense roms that are causing this problem for me. so once this is all done ill test it for the rest of the day and see how it goes. thanks so much for your help

If you don't use any apps, of course system uses the most.
You need to check for wakelocks. If you have unexpected battery drain, it's likely that the phone is not sleeping properly, i.e., being kept awake. Betterbatterystats, gsam, wakelock detector etc.
What was the change in signal attenuation, or are you just saying the the display bars are different?

i use apps, just nothing new compared to when i was on 4.2.2.
and no wakelocks according to gsam, i lost 20% overnight (7 hours)
i dont get what it is. i upgraded the radio to 4.19 now, but for the signal issues, it included lower bars, bad audio in calls, and random loss of wifi.
i removed basically every app, besides some essentials like facebook, whatsapp, and a few others.
i tried switching to an ge rom, but i just cant stay on it for too long, vanilla android is so plain compared to sense.
so the last thing i can think of, is a rom known for its battery life. not asking for a comparison, just your opinion in which rom gives the best battery on 4.3. any suggestions?

Charge your phone up all the way, put it in airplane mode, and unplug it for an hour then don't touch it. Then post your battery percentage. If it isn't still 100 or 99 then you have a more severe problem that actually relates to the battery itself.

Show us a graph of your signal strength from GSAM, and show us a screenshot with how many bars you have. At least you know now that the battery is definitely not shot. It is probably mobile data related...hmm did you ever try letting the phone sit with mobile data disabled as well? It should drain almost as minimally as airplane mode.

its absurd i know..its already down to 93% with 9 minutes screen on..
and its a dual band router, im normally connected to the 2.4ghz band, and its with wireless ac, which the one supports. Which is weird cause i thought ac improved battery life..
edit: im an idiot, wireless ac only works on 5ghz bands, but that still doesnt explain the drain on wireless n..as my previous router was also wireless n

Have you tried 5 ghz N by forcing the router or your phone to operate only at N speed? I use a TP-Link dual band N router and I remember seeing s drain of about 4 percent overnight for 8 hours of full idle with full sync.
I have tried with both 2.4ghz n and 5.2ghz ac, same problem persists
Awake is 3x screen on, I don't think that's normal, somethings keeping the phone awake much longer

so ive done a bunch of other tests, and i can confirm its wifi thats causing this massive drain, not wakelocks, not roms, or anything else.
when the phone is left with wifi on, but not being connected to any network, battery drain is minimal overnight.
its the same on both 2.4ghz and 5ghz bands, so it this a router problem? if so, do you know any tips that could fix it?
Do you have "Best wifi performance" checked? That seems to eat battery.

i have no option for best wifi performance, just "wifi optimization". i found the problem, it has something to do with my new router and its bad compatibility with android devices. the phone seems to be awake 2x the screen on time and the main culprit is "wlan_rx_wake" wakelock
