Hey guys,
I have been pretty busy lately finishing up school, but now that I am done for the year, I have a lot more free time to work on Hero stuff.
I am here right now offering my help to anyone having problems doing anything Android related on their computer/phone.
I have a program (which is free, reliable & trustworthy) that I use to provide technical assistance from my laptop, and so far have helped a few people root their phones, set up the SDK, Java, Eclipse, RegawMOD Toolbox, and much more.
If there is anyway you would like help from me, feel free to pm me and I will get back to you as fast as I can (which is usually right away if I am online). I will try to get to everyone I can, but If I get flooded with requests, I will help the people that asked first, working my way down the list.

Was wondering where to begin if I wanted to port some of the new widgets appearing in legend roms and mytouch roms. I have sdk setup where I can work with adb. I can sign zips and I am learning stuff daily but need a push into the right direction. Thanks.

Dude, TeamViewer is 100% win. I use it every day for clients.
Also, I'll just leave this here... How to reset teamviewer to not give you the "Commercial Use Suspected" Popup

I did, and I woke up and got some toast (multigrain, not our kernel dev), and I had gtalks/pms up the ying yang.. so i decided to respond...
rooted in 6 minutes, set up sdk blah blah... record time nighty night

My first post
After registering my interest a couple of months ago today i received an email from Terradesk inviting me to there beta.
Initial impressions show this will be one amazing application. And it has to be one of the best looking apps out there, a real indication of how a UI can look.

Has anyone else tried it? On wi-fi it works great but I don't get 3g in my house so cant try it on a good phone signal.

I'm not sure if just the APK would do much, it looks like there's a desktop client and even an account for teradesk that would need to be set up? Correct me if I'm wrong. Or send me an APK. Or both

cute. my draw back is the apk's i think of would require something of more complexity. however, i do like the the opportunity to build simple apps.

I signed up, but it looks like it requires a driver to connect the phone to Windows. Even with the dual mount sd widget the appinventor Windows program wouldn't recognize my Vogue.
Does anybody know how long it takes to receive the download after submitting a request form? I'm very anxious to try this and I filled out the form yesterday

Yeah I signed up two days ago. Hopefully we will receive download links within the next week or so. But this looks perfect for me. I've already done some of this building block programming with vB express. Its easy and fun to mess around with for sure.
Signed up for my Android device. Man, wish they had something like this for WinMo. Better yet, wish they had something like this for PC platforms!!

After fill out the request form they say couple of weeks, as i know Google it means 2-3 weeks... So next or overnext week it should be there. Depending on how many ppl they want invite and how many have signed on...
So...anybody who has gotten the invite should hook a brother up with the install file...*cough* PM

From reading the site with all the information and such i dont think its something you download, but more of a browser based tool. Not quite sure how that would work... But it did say in the browser. Chrome extension maybe?
And if you watch the video they are doing it from within the browser. So no download. Im assuming that its not open to anyone because the site says to go to the website that we sign up at. So when we start seeing a log in button there, we know were in business.

try androidVNC it's free and it works grate for me. all u need is a vnc program on your computer.

If you are looking for an simpliest and easiest apk to manage your pc, I would advice Teamviewer that recently has an android edition too.
Got to install client on your pc, and that's it. One program allow you to controll multiply workstations, with loads of secure and presentation options.
I am using it for long time among my workstations, and am really happy to see it on android
Best news = it is free for private usage.

I don't know what you do for a living but I'm sure you would be pissed if you had to start doing it for free because of your... resource(s).

This guys is awesome. I though my phone was semi bricked and after all I panic for nothing since after I install CWM my battery went 0%. But beside that, he assist me in every tiny step, in fact he connect to my laptop using TeamViewer and update my friend's phone, all this with an exceptional patience and humanism.
Then he advice me on his ROM preparation/installation and now I'm happy as hell.
Very professional.

are you rooted if so that may be the issue since I just discovered it too be my problem.. The workaround is if rooted of course use SuperSu instead and check off where it says disable superuser and try again,

You have the sunday ticket maxx with your account? I only ask cuz I know they gave a free weekend of it then after you gotta pay. Also (I think this is a ridiculous restriction) only one device at a time can be signed in. So if someone else is watching on ps3 or phone, you can't on your tablet.
