Google Voice (outgoing calls?) - Droid Eris Themes and Apps

Anyone have a rom that is working with the newest version of google voice?
I have rooted 2.1 eris but Google Voice 3.2 and now newest 3.4 will not work/use google voice for outgoing calls!? All other functions work - sms, voicemail, and incoming google voice calls.
I have been using the old GV 0.2apk for some time now. Nothing newer works on Eris 2.0 or newer.

Sure do. Ivan's OC ROM 1.0 . Fully working- texts, call routing, you name it.

GV should work fine on anything based on the 3rd leak or 2.1 OTA (jcases "Plain Jane" ROM, for example)

[WORK AROUND] "intercept call" apps not working in all HERO roms

From my own experience with MLIGN, KingxKx, Micro_Hero, JACxHero, and Modaco, and from what I've been able to dig up around this forum, applications that use the intercept outgoing call feature (such as GV, or google voice dialer, or a calling card application) do not work properly. Calls made through the HTC dialer do not get intercepted.
I've tried wiping, reformated ext partition and reinstalling the apps. I've tried using GV, google voice dialer, and multiple calling card apps. none work. All the apps require intercepting the outgoing dial.
People have reported a work around using the HTC_people widget, but I don't think that is a practical work around for making daily calls.
Does anyone know of a Hero ROM that "intercept outgoing call" applications works with? Personal experience would be appreciated.
OR
Does anyone know of an application, that works to intercept calls made from HTC dialer?
UPDATE: to get a hero-esque dialer on a non hero rom, try using acontacts. or use the call-back feature included with GV/GoogleVoice.
Try using call-back in GV app. I have used quite a few Hero roms, and usually don't have a problem getting the dialer to route calls through GV. It only has trouble using direct dial as the call method. Call-back adds the extra step of having to answer the call, but it lets you use the htc dialer.
Thank you very much. I feel kind of silly having completely forgot about the call-back feature. I will be sure to remember that next time I switch into a Hero rom.
For now, I am staying with CM 4.1.999 and using acontacts as my dialer, it's not as nice as Hero dialer tho.

Newest Google Voice Update on Leakv.2 2.1

Has anyone had success with the most recent Google Voice update? I'm on 2.1 2.1 leak (v2). If so, how did you do it? I have to run 0.2 of the GV app to be able to route calls.
Thanks.
Google Voice
I have not had success with routing calls through google voice, but I don't call much and I think the latest improvements in the google voice update are worth it.

be aware, installing that version and youll no longer have the near-instant sms that the most recent version has. so it depends if you call or txt more.

Can't use Google Voice as dailer for Eclipse 2.2

Before I flashed to Eclipse 2.2, I could dial out and Gvoice would ask me to use my GVoice number to do the call. But since the upgrade it always uses the default dialer and uses my Cell phone number (instead of my Gvoice number) for all calls.
Tried changing numerous settings.
The closest thread I found was on a different site
forums.miui.us/showthread.php?2271-Google-voice&p=19790&viewfull=1#post19790
which said to turn third-party OFF, but I don't see that in Eclilpse 2.2.
Any ideas?
I am running Eclipse 2.2 with .902 and don't have that issue. I just went into Google Voice and set it to use it for all calls. Don't believe the Bionic has the "Third-Party on/off" for a call setting. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
And when you make calls, the other person sees your Gvoice #?
Because the Gvoice app allows me to change the setting, but whenever I make a call it doesn't use Gvoice, just the built in dialer and using my cell #.
Maybe it's a conflict with another app installed?
[update] It did end up being an app. Only problem is I'm not sure which one, I uninstalled a dozen or so, mostly games and news readers.

Google Voice voicemail not working with Thrill Seeker 3.1 Rom

I've been using cyanogenmod 7 and the call quality was problematic as was my bluetooth. I recently switched to Thrill Seeker 3.1 and everything is working great except I can't access the settings for Google Voice voicemail, even though I picked Google Voice for my voicemail, it still goes to the carrier. In other words, I have to call in to get my voicemail as opposed to having it in my Google Voice. I haven't done much to the programs, but I have deleted all of the 3D programs, games and Gulliver's Travel. Will that have affected it?
Thanks.

Google Voice working correctly on Note 5?

According to the link below, the use of Google Voice (particularly with problems making outgoing calls) on the Note 5 may have been affected by the update to Android 5.1 in recent months:
https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/voice/7v4o62rCRfI;context-place=topicsearchin/voice/5.1.1$20update
After doing some reading it looks like the problem could be specific to the DOK2 baseband version and for T-mobile users (I'm on T-mobile and took the latest OTA update and my baseband is COKC). I'm just wondering if any of you are using Google Voice regularly, particularly to make outgoing calls with your with you GV number, and having any problems? I'm looking to port my number over to GV and want to make sure this isn't an issue first...
Hi, I have found only a slight work around, I've been having issues with GV on note 4 running DOK2. I get the "call not sent" error. The easier workaround I've found is to have your contacts text your Google voice number, make sure you're not using hangouts and have your Google voice text messages routed to your native messaging app. When you receive a text you will see a foreign number at the top. +123456789 save that number as the contact who texted you default number, then anytime you call that person it will ring using your Google voice number, as long as you use the + number
