Hi all first and mostly I want to apologise for not giving you a ROM, but due to recent activities here I decide to stop my work here and stop making ROMS for now.
For People who dont know already I was asked to cook for X1 and was donated a device which XMOO sent to me.
I also was working on HD AND WAS CURRENTLY TIED UP IN making a ROM FOR IT. I was also working on X1 ROM, but didnt have time between both devices and I stopped for awhile.
Since my last HD ROM ALot of stuff , issues, etc arise here on XDA and I was the main attraction, long story short ,
I given up cooking at the moment and I feel bad not making a rom for u guys, The rom I have still needs work doing and I cant support it if I release it as I have a lot of personal stuff I need taking care of.
I contacted XMOO about sending the device to him so you Guys can decide what to do with it or give it to another CHEF, ETC,
Once again my sincere apology especially for all those who believe in me and all my supporters but whats happened here has really put me off.
If there are any better advise on how to donate the device back to the community just let me know.

On a selfish note though, any chance you can release what you already have for the X1? Would love to try it, bugs and all, knowing that you wont be supporting it.

Like many others I was looking forward in trying your ROM for the X1.
With an ackward eye did I follow the stuff going on in the Blackstone forum and respect your decision to leave the forum, although it breaks my heart a bit.

If you could release the kitchen /sources to the X1 community, then maybe some other enterprising chef could pick up where you left off. I'm interested in learning the process behind creating a ROM but I'll be honest and say I wouldn't know where to start, even after reading some guides here on XDA-Dev.

Goodluck to you and hopes everything turns out for the better. I know everyone was looking forward for your ROM here, and some just couldnt wait and start saying things they do not mean. All in all thanks for your effort...my suggestion regarding the X1 KEEP it until maybe one day you can bless us with your work.

Maybe XMOO should PM everyone who donated for this, we could see together over PM's if there is someone else who we would think would benefit the X1 community so much, that we want donate the device to.
If we are talking abotu selling MAYBE I could be interested, but just maybe at this point... I would rather see it go to good use...
I was one of the donators and my suggestion is to sell the phone and donate the money to xda.
Well Im not 100% behind that... I have donated to XDA with my two usernames and will donate in the future, but this was meant to other use...

So much has been said on the whole "Dutty Dilemma" (Someone should write a book about it! )
My first and last comment on it: Too bad it happened, Dutty has been wronged.
On the device, I'm not a donator, but I'd say let him keep it after all the crap.
If people strongly feel it must be sold, I'm a potential buyer.
Still hoping for Dutty to change his mind and put the X1 he got to use though.

im somewhat sure he needed one for siassambly reasons. to check hardware etc.
id rather have android on my hpone anyway but since i donated nothing ... let the donaters decide

The sad thing about it is that it wasn't the people on the xperia thread that were giving him so much hell. The people that donated the device to Dutty supported him the whole way. I would say at the least the people who donated the funds to get the device should get his beta rom.

Hi guys, i'm new to this forum and would like to say firstly, hello and thanks to everyone for the info!. I've had my Xperia X1i now for a year and love adding apps and games and stuff but Android caught my eye the other day and i've spent nigh on 4 nights solid, running in circles trying to get info on installing the right version but to no avail. Would it be possible please to let me know step by step on what to install, how to get the correct version and also how to "tweak" the startup.t please? I would be forever in your debt. Thankyou.
Where do you get the idea all those problems are already solved ? Maybe asking in that thread would help. AFAIK no progress was made beyond what what HTC users did.

id like to help but i havent programed in 6 years... and i kind of fail at using linux on my laptop. (so i use windows) i havent yet used android but i assume its alot better a os then winmobile... wm6.5 ect makes me wish i has symbion on my phone at times... just because of how laggy it is.

I just got my TP2 last week. Must say that i am liking. Anyways wanna give out a shout out to all my peeps, chuck up the deuce and to all them chicken heads out there, keep flapping your gums!

Here here. I'm brand new to this stuff for phones, but I have a ton of linux/windows experience and an HTC tp2 so if you need me to break (ok hopefully not) my (CDMA) phone testing something, I'm down.
Who is actually doing work on this? I mean, we can have a thread about this and talk all day, but if nobody works on it. Wish I had the knowledge to program this..

Hei chodak87 hey, why did you give false hope to WM 6.5 on a fellow member, Would not you know that the ROM was a weakness on and until now there has been no improvement ... you only give pleasure moment ..!!!!
If I can find some time, I'll see what I can do about this. It's a real shame that no real good custom ROMs exist... But don't get your hopes up, I am really busy right now. It might take as long as late March until I can start cooking It'll take extensive beta testing with some of you guys, since I don't have the S730, but it should work.
EDIT: Oh and don't donate until I produce something that is working! (But then go nuts )

Right now, nothing. I'll open up a thread once I start cooking. I'll need some brave souls that try my ROM on their devices...

Anyone interested in testing some X1 ROM's....Many of you know my work on this device...decided since I am laid up from an accident to bring back some more ROM's for the users....I do not have this device any longer so testers need to be available for as much time as needed for a stable release...if interested send me a p.m. and we can begin as soon as possible....

i've just started to play around with this phone, so i am interested but dont know how to report a bug or a malfunction...
For those who dont know what my x1 roms were like....you can either click my sig picture and read on my forum or search in this x1 forum for my previous rom threads...Those interested I would prefer have an msn/yahoo messenger account for troubleshooting/releases etc...Thanks for your time

i chekced your site and rom threads before i wrote to this topic but i think you have deleted all the links.. i couldn't find any link to download... so i don't know anything about your roms yet... i can provide my facebook account and msn id for communication... but there is something that can be a problem, this is my only phone, this means i have to able to communicate with it...

Well we will have some new ROMs coming within this month....Shingers5 has graciously offered up an X1 for the users,so when it arrives we are off and running again , so I can have a device for which to flash and make these as stable and fast as I possibly can...So give him a shout and say thank you....

Thanks for the shout WC but it is nothing at all! We had some good times in here back in the day being the wild card among the big guns! Many have left as things got a bit heavy but our love for this device remains! X1 still lives and it is nice to give you something that can help breathe new life to this community! People will be pleased with ya style and stable offerings, tried and tested before releasing to the masses!

I was a big fan of your ROMs. Pity that you do not have the X1 now. Am looking forward to test some of the ROMs now if you allow me to.
I would love to play around with some new ROMs from WildChild in my spare time.
I followed these releases faithfully and now my X1 is collecting dust (Arc currently).
I need new roms if they are good and fast =D
