I have been searching for a flashable copy of the OC Godmode #65 for the HTC Hero CDMA (Sprint) that I can download, but cannot find it anywhere.
Does ANYONE have this available so that I could download it? ANY help would be greatly appreciated. Keep up the great work XDA and thanks for reading

Thanks man, not sure if one of those is it or not, but the problem is, two of them lead to this gitcode.com.... page which is just like a big repository of files used for the kernel. Does n/e one have one already zipped and ready to flash? Toastcfh Godmode #65??

Its the first link... You can flash any of the damage768/710 etc in recovery.

Thanks for the help, but I've d/l'd those before and the one I usually get, 710, is always build #89, not #65...
The reason I'm being so picky, is because when I'm running the #89, I get FC's for phone app when receiving some calls and wifi tether freezes the phone (only fixed by battery removal) when stopping the tether.
Any help?
I've been testing out the darchshizz #1, the one that is supposed to fix this problem, and it's good so far, but I get a lock screen lag, just briefly, when coming out of sleep, etc...
Guess nothing's perfect though

It's really brief. Basically it's like right after pressing the END button, to come out of sleep, it takes the devices about 1.5 sec to turn on the screen, then I have to wait approx. 1 sec for my button lights/trackball to light up, before I can drag my unlock (via the screen) to unlock the phone.
Like I said, it's really brief, and 1s is approximate. I've got mine clocked at 537-691 but notice this regardless of clock speeds.
And I just saw you were talking about this in a different thread already, so I didn't need to explain it I'm sure, but just in case, I'll leave it in, LoL.

As for the lag. Are you using an OC app/widget? I noticed lag when I was using one and had it lower the frequency when asleep. It would lag when it turned back on b/c it took a second to set the frequency back up. Other then that, I have always experienced a little delay even when stock.

Yep, I'm officially a flash-junky!
Works great Darch. Still a bit of a lag when pressing the END key for wake up, but once that pops up and I'm able to use the lockscreen, it works just fine. Nice work my friend 8)

If you are having a major issue with a G1, PULL A LOGCAT !!! If log collector is not already installed on your device, dl it from the market. After the instance of your issue, open the log app and send the log to your email or device. This is what devs use to fix your problems! If you have an issue and PULL A LOGCAT, attach it on this thread with a simple, specific title and description to make for ez search. MODS, If this is misplaced, feel free to move it.

You're obviously not required to do 'anything.'
But if you wanted your problem quickly solved you could come into irc at an appropriate time ( not right now ) and talk to someone directly. ( It's really hard to find problems, document them and solve them just by looking at a logcat you took. )

So what if your problem MAY be hardware related...who do you send your logcat to?
I'm having issues with my headphone jack. It seems to work when it wants to and it very annoying. Could this be ROM related or just a faulty hardware issue?

obviously without hearing it i cant say, but i'd be willing to bet if its intermittent, you have a faulty jack. ez way to tell is to install another rom, and try anotherset of headphones

Cant be the headphones...i just bought a new pair the other day. Cant be a short in the adapter. Ive got 3 of them and they all work on the 2nd G1. The icon doesnt even show up in the notification bar nor does the button work but i hear static distortion at the moment when i plug in. Ive also got HTC_IME set to audio clicks and each time i type i can hear the same distortion. Cant Logcat via ADB with usb hooked in. Thinking about sending back to T-Mo for replacement but dont wanna go thru the hassle of re-rooting and such
Edit: tried logcat in terminal then plugged in adapter. Nothing. Dont even know if something is supposed to show.
Alright XDA'ers... I finally got this thing working. As far as I can tell it's stable and runs well. All components of the hardware are functional and I haven't had any problems with it thus far. The only bug I am noticing currently is that it takes a little longer than I would like for the mobile network to load (it's not instantaneous) and the camera is only capable of 3M.
Other than that- this is a port from Nexus One shipped rom ERE27- stock 2.1 as Vanilla as the Yeti's driven snow. No frills except root/superuser and wifi tethering. Also I am using the undervolt stock speeds kernel that ejhart posted a few days ago- it's been very stable on my stock setup and has been very stable throughout this build.
Here's the link- download it, put it on your SDcard, backup your current rom, wipe data/factory reset, wipe cache, install.

Were you downloading from phone? If so try from computer, same thing was happening to me til i jumped over to computer.
And Acid Bath, i think that could be right, i know most nexus roms are that small, and this is a port, idk, flashing right now, i'll let everyone know.

Yep- 65MB... It's pure vanilla... the nexus shipped roms are about that size. Sense is just friggin huge.

Known issues are as stated in the OP- slow start for mobile network and 3M cap on photos. I think the pixel limit has to do with the Nexus camera and oem software limits imposed on the hardware. I'm not that into cameras on my phones so it's not a deal breaker for me. The pain right now is waiting the minute or two to get 3g up and running post boot. Not sure what's going on there so if you have any suggestions I'm open to giving it a whirl if I haven't tried it already- wifi works and you can make calls immediately- just the 3g takes it's sweet time getting off it's ass to come out and play.

It feels about right to me... available memory is doubled post boot and battery drain so far is much less than stock. Also boot time is seeing a decent improvement.

For whatever reason I've been having trouble deodexing this rom- it's a shipped rom so everything should be there. The .jar's are deodexing fine, but the .apk's are failing due to a missing boot class path " " so for now I'm just leaving it as is. You can have at it- maybe you can tell me what I'm doing wrong...

I would have at it, but im definitely a themer and not a dev.
I just got this ROM up and running.
It has done a couple of fast reboots on me so far, and you can't sync your contacts with Facebook... Those are the only 2 things I have seen so far. Other then that I'm loving it!

What happened with the fast reboots? Hasn't happened to me yet and I've been up and running for a while...
Yeah- the facebook thing- I didn't know if that was just a stock deal or not- the inc is my first foray into android.
It also seems to have issues with root explorer when it comes to mounting then unmounting... failed at replacing the bootanimation.zip and manually removing the apps I want gone.
It gets annoying when they turn off on their own after ~5 seconds, and makes it hard at night to hit the right key, like Back or Home. I just want those 4 bottom soft keys to stay on the entire time the screen is on, and go off when it is Locked.

That only has the lights stay on for 3 (or 10 or 15, don't know what he set the limit to) seconds, This keeps them on for the entire time the screen is on. A little different.

i got permission from guardian bob and added keep the lights on in the first version of andromeda as a substitute for the lights problem. for the next version of andromeda WE decided to take a more *stock* approach and include a 15 second delay on it (stock is only 3).....
if you want it, download from the market....easy as pie.

Been working on this for about a day. thought i would share what ive got so far. This Theme Has been approved by the original creator Retrokid223. Credit for the base of the theme goes to him. The only thing ive done is make it more to my liking.
This theme should work on most deodexed sense roms. Ive only tested it on stock. let me know if it does not.

The only problem that I'm running into is that when watching YouTube I will select the back button the phone will freeze and a battery pull is needed, this does not happen the first time but like after 3-5 times of watching a YouTube video and then hitting the back button.
I had these issues with Retrokid223s newer themes, I think it has to do with the transition animations

Which kernel are you using. I had this problem with Teslo Coil using Iso. Kernel but now I am on BAMF1.6(best battery life) and it I have not gotten any freezing that required battery pull.

Try continuously watching YouTube videos and selecting back and watching another video and select back again, I'm currently running a Ziggy kernal but have had this issue ever since Retrokid223 came out with his newer releases

Great.. Am downloading this one still.. As the other rom i had not yours . gave me fc on PSExpress editing dngs also freedcam would not record video. Last night flashed enterprised 10-06 it all works.

No i did not get them on uss enterprised.. It was another rom. And yes even restoring back ups i always wipe all partitions.. I even do orthodox clean.. Sure ill report..

Cant really see the fonts where its says update or install. Im smart enough to know it says update. Others may not see it the same and give you **** for it.. other one is the phone will freeze up sometimes for about 5-10 seconds then its operable again.

This. I know its minor, and people are going to complain (not calling you out, others will overrreact, you didn't) so wouldn't it be better to not include a theme in the ROM? Don't get me wrong, I love Turbo's themes, but having them as zips avoids a lot of problems. Turbo had this for a while but after he reimplemented a theme directly in the ROM he was banned :crying: because someone had to complain. As a safe measure I'm just recommending you leave themes as zips, maybe even having a separate thread with themes that you can link to from the OP. @TURBO2012
As for the freezing, were you updating apps from the play store? I have that happen to me on most ROMs, I think it might just be outdated GApps, but I never update mine so I'm not sure. A new GApps zip usually fixes it for me.

what is vanilla.? then could it be possible to have dark theme and stock..?? how could we use othe theme apps.? ypi mentioned.?
what i found is when an app ask to select external SD when you click on top right show sdcard and on recents top left there should be internla and sdcard to choose. its empty..
like titanium asked. and a file explorer..
as for governors the same you had before. maybe alucard. would be nice.. and zzmove with working profiles.
