I think its from the N1 called merlin something, but I know Eugene had ported it to the BH2. Anyone have it that works for the Slide?
It basically just listed news stories, but it was much better than just RSS feeds.

I've been looking for this genie widget, but in a transparent version, also in flashable zip. I can't seem to adb the other, i get parse errors or force closes. Is there a way to edit these to be transparent? Thanks!

Wanted to know if the ESPN widget from aHome Cupcake version can be extracted to be used as an original home widget? Or apk.
I extracted aHome Test and looked and saw there is an espn xml file and some drawables and some other files.. would it be easy enough to pack it into theDude's Build v.92 or Haykuro or JF..
Or is there an apk to install or extract?
This goes for all widgets.. since we now can add them as we want with Cupcake of course, are people interested in crossing widgets across the diferent versions to make a full pool of widgets...?? (Which after this competition may happen)

yea its a news widget...something i already get from twitter...i would love a widget with live scores.

Hi! I just got the Superhero Beta 2 up and running, and boy is it fast! Well anyways, I was wondering if theres anyone out there willing to give a go at coding a facebook widget? I noticed a tweeter one, but it would be nice to have one that just shows everyone's current status on facebook, and you can scroll down just like the tweeter one. Or is there something I'm missing on hero?

I use fancy widget which from what I can tell looks exactly the same and does the same thing but is free.
App works great, but for some reason lately it does not update the time. First it was the weather, now its the time. I'm not sure what's going on. Looks good, but I may use a different app for weather/time since it's not updating properly
I also have Beautiful Widgets on my phone (AT&T, Galaxy S international version). I had problems with the time updating too; that was with version 3.02. Currently version 3.04 seems to be working - so far.
I tried Fancy Widget, but since I switched phones I had to find the apk on the internet. I like it but it takes up more space than Beautiful widget's smaller home.

I perfer Weather and Toggle Widget myself, I skipped Fancy Widget because I wasn't sure if it would continue to receive updates as issues crop up.

When you search google or any other search engine for the g-tablet, you get images of the gtab with a weather app on it... does anyone know what the hell that app is called? Is it part of tapntap? I played with it for about 10 mins before I flashed Vegan and have been trying to find a good weather/dashboard app (something that shows current weather/news/missed emails/yada yada ;D
Does anyone know? Or can you point me to a good "dashboard" app that has the features mentioned above. I'm willing to pay, doesn't have to be a freebie. I've searched the marketplace high and low and can't find anything that does that...or I'm not searching under the right tools.

I flashed vegan right after I got mine, and I just use a set of beautiful widgets to make my homescreen the way I want it. It has time and weather, and I have a page just for facebox and twitter. No idea how to take screenshots, else I'd post a few.
That image is the "dashboard" that is the Tap'n'tap UI when not in classic mode. I've never used any of the TNT Lite ROMs which I understand are stripped down and improved versions of the Tap'n'tap ROM but I absolutely hated the stock ROM and the Tap'n'tap UI during the blissfully brief period I use it.

No, the "dashboard" has a weather area, a news area, and an analog clock. However, tapping on the weather area will take you to the pictured app.

Okay, so here's the deal. I downloaded a lock screen that has app icons in a dock that should launch apps. Browser, Unlock, SMS, Dialer all work. (Mind you, this is an OLD lockscreen for MIUI 2.3 that hasn't been updated. I am trying to get it to work with MIUI v4.1.2 for my own use) Gmail, MIUI Music, and Camera don't work... and unfortunately I can't figure out what's wrong after reviewing sample code of working ones. Anyone willing to take a look at the manifest.xml and see what's wrong?
