Man, I would love to hear back from anybody who succesfully used an external microphone, or somekind of line input option, to record on the HD2. Either using the above suggestions or others...

NEED Suggestion In-Ear Headphone with MIC

Hi All,
Yesterday I lost my HTC HD2 default headphone and now i'm seeking for good not so expensive in-ear headphone with mic.
Price better to <50 or =<30
Thanks for your advance and suggestions.
P.S I don't like default HTC HD2's default headphone because they are painful when using for a while and not comfortable for running.
Have you considered iFrogz EarPollution plugz? They are not very loud but have decent sound.

WOW prices are high, headphone with mic models are starting from 40$ what product do you have from this brand?
did you look at somewhere like expansys? i'm pretty sure they do a 3.5mm male to 3.5mm female cable with a mic build in. Then you can buy any headphones you like.
Something like this: http://www.expansys.com/htc-hd2-aud...h-stereo-headset-htc-logo-retail-pack-188904/

No i haven't used one but i'd hope it works properly because it's a htc branded device certified for the leo and As far as i can tell it's the same as the one for the touch hd.

i got the superFi. 5 pros, they are not on the list anymore.. but were the second best universals >.<! just have them without the mic. i dont need that
i just love the quality of ultimate ears, its so awsome..
soon im ordering my customs UE 18 pro )))
im a stupid audiophile u know >.<
I m using a combination for this. Earphone form Creative EP630/830, an OLD XDA II volume controller & the normal 3.5 jack. It is much better as i can control the volume, can change the next song or FM channel by Red call dissconnect button, play/pause and receive call by green button. So its become very handy no need to pull out the phone. also EP630/830 delivers very good base at $8 only.

There are two types with and without mic. I've got one with mic. It cost 15 euros 7 months ago, but i think there was some kind of discount.
I know this link is a british shop but these are the headphones i have : http://www.play.com/Mobiles/Mobile/...hone-3G-3GS/Product.html?ptsl=1&ob=Price&fb=0
They are great if you are on a budget and although they say they are for the iphone they work perfectly well on the hd2. The sound quality is great and the button on them functions to answer/hangup a call and also it functions as a play/pause button fo the htc music tab.
Sennheiser produce excellent quality stereo in ear handsets with inline control and Mic. They are in the upper price range though
But if you're stuck with little options as I was yesterday the Apple iPhone ones work if you don't mind putting up with sub par quality
The inline control doesn't work with my HD2
Sent from my HTC HD2 Droid using XDA App
Are there any
Suggestion In-Ear Headphone with MIC & VOLUME CONTROL
Please

Could you tell us if all buttons (hang, paly pause next...) and volume control are working with HD2 ?
Is it for the Zaggsmartbuds ?
Thanks
If you're handy with a soldering iron you could mod your own.

I put cheap £12 Skullcandy on my HD2 headset and it works great! In-built mic works, play/pause & track skip works too.
ultimatears, then etymotic.

Using HTC ONE as recording device ? ? ?

I DJ a lot out and was wondering if there's any software that will utilize the line in on my phone, as a recording input.
So, Red & white Phono from Mixer to 3.5mm jack HTC ONE.
Not too arsed if it was Mono.

Sorry, maybe I should explain more.
Basically I mean recording into the Headphone jack of the phone. I'm pretty sure there is a cable out there that allows you to do this. Just thought it would be great to record my sets to my phone in decent quality.

The cable isn't the issue. Routing audio in the out hole is the issue.
Would be a neat feature if it was possible, though.
edit: having had a rummage on the 'net it seems line level recording is more complex than it ought to be on droid devices.
Might be better off recording via USB

Defy has the same pinout as Iphone, It's 3.5 mm jack of course . You need to give more details if you expect any help like the most important how much are you willing to pay, with or w/o microphone.

you can try SoundMagic ES18 i have used it for over a year and it is really really good, GREAT BASS!!!
It doesnt have microphone & I dont know how much it will cost in your country. I bought it for USD7 approx.
iI would recommend philips shb 9000 headphones.
The feature is you can connect it with bluetooth OR with cabel (for example when battery is zero)
Cable connection give better sound every time, but BT connection let's use it as handsfree
Are there headphones where the jack has three connectors, the third one for FM reception, like the original?

There is nothing special with Defy's headphone plug, if you're going to use a headphone withour microphone.
Any headphone with a stereo 3,5mm jack will work. So, if you have a favorite headphones which you used before with your music players it'll work on Defy.

As I said above, any standard headphones will work. The FM radio doesn't use a seperate part of the headphones as antenna. It uses the same signal cable of the headphones as antenna.
If you can do away with microphone(not suitable if you intend to use for calling), as pointed you can use any headphone with the standard 3.5mm jack. I use Sennheiser HD 202 II.

Well, it`s not so obvious. The mic didn`t work on M8 with CM13 on board, so there is always a risk that it won`t work with the other phone.
I got rid of M8 along with headphones and I`m looking for some decent headset for a bike.
